When we booked we didn’t know the hotel had various buildings all over Al Seef/old Dubai. Shocked to know that we require or are entitled to buggy littering service (till 10pm). Free parking available at basement; get a slot at D33 for closest to reception.
We chose the creek room, but tbh we didn’t spend much time outdoors in the balcony cus of the heat in the day, and at night we could hear the music going on but it lasted till abt 10ish.
Room could use with few more power points for charging/own devices.
Overall do stay here for the hotel experience of a ~boutique~ styled with curated furniture. Enjoyed this one of a kind setting
Pleasant process of early check-in with assistance from Aysha at the reception. They provided breakfast and a quiet place to wait until the room was ready, and also offered a great room upgrade. The interior was stylish, but the soundproofing was poor. The breakfast was decent, and the room cleaning service was satisfactory. The view from the window and balcony, especially overlooking Al Seef Creek, was good. The rooms had good ventilation, and it was convenient to move around the area using the buggy.
There was a pool, but it was small, shared by three Hilton hotels, and it took a 5-minute drive plus waiting time for the driver to come.
The street vendors were quite annoying, even if you passed them by multiple times a day. A bit uncomfortable shower. The shower amenities, especially the soap, were of very low quality. The refrigerator didn't work well, and the bed linen had holes. The small-sized bathrobes were strange. There was loud music from the nearby restaurant (though it stopped at 11: 00 PM). When my girlfriend went to the reception alone, a male hotel staff member on reception bothered her, despite knowing she was not single (and even if she was - it would be unacceptable).
It was the worst trip of my life. I file a claim as soon as I get home now.
I arrived at the hotel at 3: 20 p.m. On December 1st and was able to check in at 5: 50, but I think the family room is also provided in the form of two connected rooms. The hotel said there was no connected accommodation.
So, first of all, I checked in the room (1007) at 5: 50 p.m.
Does it make sense that it takes more than two hours to check in?
And at 10 p.m, the rest of the room (1003) was assigned.
Room 1003 was not even disinfected and was a room under construction of a toilet.
I couldn't use the room either, so I went into the room with my family (1007) and waited for dawn to come.
Is this normal?
It's a memory that I don't want to experience again in my life.
I haven't heard any apology from the hotel yet. I will never visit again.
Room service: BAD. Receptionist attitude and hospitality: ZERO. No one answers phone calls or even face to face conversations! Rooms are dusty. The two stars are for the amazing architecture and design of the place. We wanted the whole Al Seef experience but got nothing out of it although this is our second stay. DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED.
Guys! Be very careful with the payments! We got charged DOBLE THE AMOUNT, 2 rooms, when we used only one And twice! Payment was already taken by bookin.com And they said we were not going to be checked in until we didnt pay!
If they cant find the booking or payment… this is not the way to treat the customers
*Still waiting for the refund of money which they promised would take 2weeks…*
I was given room number 607. There is a malfunction in the water heater and the problem has not been resolved. After 5 calls, the maintenance worker came to check but did not solve the problem. I also asked them to change the room and there was no response. I also asked to speak to the hotel manager, but I was told that he was not there and would call me and he never called. Unfortunately, I spent my night without a shower because the water is cold and we are in the winter
If you want to re-live how the structure and ambience of old Dubai, then this is a MUST visit hotel/place as one will find the closest to experiencing how it used to be back in the day (with a modern touch here and there).
Overall, really well-worth the visit (for a day trip or tour) and stay!
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The ambiance is a drastic change from the day to day of modern Dubai. The rooms are quant & cozy. I wish I could give this hotel a higher review. The service is below acceptable. The staff seem unsure & incompetent. Based on previous reviews with the same insight, I’m not sure if the company cares.
The hotel is awesome and the design too but the service is bad, we ask for room cleaning, they didnt change for us the cups even though they didnt clean them! Also.in the check in they make us wait for 1 hour and half … this make the the full experience failed, Staff have to be more careful to the costomers:)
Great experience from start to finish and a great change to the standard Dubai hotel room in a tower. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent and a-la-cart. They even brought a birthday cake and upgraded us to a Creekside view room as a Hilton diamond member. It was like staying in a theme park! Only thing that could have been improved was the AC, it only had one setting and was blowing over the bed.
The stay at Al Seef Heritage Hotel, Hilton was moderate. Firstly, the location next to the creek was absolutely stunning and the souk like stores nearby definitely adds to the traditional experience with reasonable prices. It’s a perfect place to go for a stroll at night. The hotel has done a wonderful job of combining “heritage” with hospitality. The service at the front desk was swift and efficient with the additional benefit of getting a late checkout at 4pm. However, once checked in we were not offered a ride to our room, instead providing us with a café as a way to navigate around the massive area so we ended up taking 20 mins asking for directions to the nearby security guards after which we finally found our room. The rooms are unique and beautiful, decorated with lamps, historical wooden doors, radios and switches; it truly immerses you into the way living in the olden days. Both rooms had spectacular views of the souk which was great. Even though it was a heritage hotel, the standard amenities were included such as, water bottles, T. V, and a coffee machine. It is important to state that during our stay we did have several problems that were bothersome to say the least. Starting off, in the bathroom it was an open shower, which meant that water had leaked out into the bathroom which became exasperating. Moreover, we were only provided 1 set of toiletries (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) in a room occupied for 2 people, so we had to request for an extra set as one set was insufficient. Furthermore, the fan in the room had made an intolerable screeching noise every time it was turned on and running, although we didn’t use the fan, it’s a point that cannot be avoided. Adding on, the hotel unfortunately is severely understaffed and it was visible some staff was undertrained or lacked experience. For future guest it is important to note that there is no pool and gym in this hotel, instead you have to use the facilities of the Canopy Hilton nearby. Last but not least, the breakfast was mediocre as the scrambled eggs ordered was poorly seasoned and cooked, with a side of 2 toast breads (out of which 1 was slightly burned). On the other hand, the waffles and French toast were very well presented and tasted delicious. The breakfast is à la carte not the standard buffet. Overall, the hotel is a perfect stay when visiting the Seef area, as the rooms are wonderful and the location is great. My only recommendation to guests is to avoid choosing the breakfast package.
Excellent location to feel in the heart of middle east. Very nice cosy rooms with very comfortable beds. Some with balconies and creek view. Welcoming and efficient staff.
What a beautiful place! The whole setup blends in classic Arabian-style buildings adjacent to Dubai Creek! Marvelous place! The rooms are quite spacious too; look and feel in a fancy old-style way! Lovely! Will be definitely back again in the future! Everything around the corner! Breakfast is really good too; offers Arabic cuisine combined with continental & American choices.
Hotel is next to the famous Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood.
It is located in Deira Creek, which is very lively during the evenings. You can have a good walk along the creek-side and enjoy the water and the life in it, especially the: D big boats and floating restaurants. Very nice place to hangout if you into a fresh air outing mood.
Located in very beautiful place full of varieties with exceptional ambiance and structure. You feel like jumping at least 100 years back to another life where the best could be challenged with better. Very good value for money
It is really beautiful and peaceful. Even if it is full, it feels like it is empty. Everything is in old style, but still perfectly working. Breakfast is good. Beds wide and comfortable. Surrounding is nice, there is lot of shops and resturants. Cleanness is on high level.
However the staff requires more training in hospitality.i have arrived to the hotel around one pm.and got my room key at 11: 15 pm! The excuse was That they have a new system in only one pc and not all reservation appeared!
Amazing, just came back from there, its really a great place with the mix of old and new architecture. Staff very polite and very helpful especially Miss Bao at the reception and also Christopher, definetly a great place for couples to be.for sure coming back and for a longer stay.thanks
The atmosphere and decor was perfect - staff very helpful. Check out time was fast. Only problem was getting around the hotel complex but they make it easy by driving you around in golf carts. Just make sure you request the cart 10 mins ahead of time.
Located at Al Seef, a bustling destination spread 1.8 km along the Dubai Creek, Al Seef Heritage Hotel brings to life the traditions of Emirati hospitality, inspired by the country’s rich culture and heritage. With the background of the historical Al Fahidi neighbourhood, the hotel is 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport and has direct links to Dubai Water Taxi and traditional abras.
You want a beach, you can go any where for that, or stay at home. You want a hotel with a difference, this is for you. Traditional arab architecture, rooftop with traditional cushioned areas to chill out at night. In the heart of the historic centre of old Dubai by the Creek, Yes, sanitized, but superbly comfortable. Very popular with the Emiraties for a treat hotel stay. Won't suit all, but if you like to get close to the local life, for you, and 10 mins walk along the creek side to the metro to go anywhere.
Excellent stay! The hotel combines old and traditional Arabian design with modern luxury and comforts. We enjoyed our stay as we feel like we were in a different environment different from the shiny hotels of Dubai.
The hotel aims for guests to walk around and explore the area. It's a great feeling to feel like you're living in Al Seef neighborhood.
For those who want to swim in a pool or go to the gym, you can access these facilities from their sister hotel where you have to arrange a buggy ride. So be advised about this.
Would recommend this to those looking for a unique hotel experience that celebrates the traditions of Dubai and the UAE.
Nice design and decoration it takes u back to the 70's, but the water was leaking a little from the bathroom and I guess there was no parking for the guests of the hotel we had to park a bit far.
