Everything was full of its own taste and flavor

Kebabs are average taste
yogurt kebabs are tasteless
I visited here many times just because the place is famous
The only thing i like about the place is the ambience

As the name suggests.all the Kebabs are special here.
The walls of this restaurant are filled with pictures of legends from all over the world who have come here and had a meal or two at this very special place.
If that does not give you a reason to visit here and try some of their amazing Kebabs.then nothing will.
The service here is also something which you do not see daily.inspite of it being full even and weekdays and people waiting outside.the owners are always so calm and smiling and take care of their guests so nicely who are not only inside but also who are waiting outside.

Gem of a place! Superb Kebabs, chicken and mutton both are Awesome. Hamus and Salad compliment the food superbly.
The ambience is amazing with photos on the wall of the Global celebs visited the place. Also a nice attraction is the currency notes of different countries placed on the table.

Food was good but gound it to be over rated. Roti was not fresh and no variety/options in rice

First time eating Iranian food and they set the bar high. Really love that the meat does not have any after taste, very tender and delicious. Prompt service and very friendly staff. Very close to Metro station.

Amazing kebab’s. Would highly recommend. Just try their mix platters on the menu with some garlic paste.

غير عن تصوير المشاهير. صح انه فيه قسم عوايل وفيه قسم شباب لكن مره حشره كإن الطاولة اللي جمبك جالسين معاك لدرجة غير مريحة (هذا احساسنا). ادوات الطاولة بالطاولة يبغالها تنظيف (علبة الملح والفلفل والسكر والصلصة). طلبنا حمص و مشاوي مشكلة ونزل معاها صحن سلطة (خيار بصل طماطم) + سلطة لبن + سلطة كرمب وخس. كان طعم المشاوي جيد (افضلهم اللحم الاوصال واللحم الكباب) كذلك طلبنا رز زعفران ووللأسف لقيت شعره في الرز وطلبت تغييره وبصراحة صاحب المحل بنفسه جا واعتذر وجاب لنا بداله. خدمتهم ممتازة جدًا وسريعين ولطيفين وخدومين. اسعارهم مناسبة. مواقف السيارة برسوم

زرت المطعم ثلاث مرات خلال خمسة أيام وكان جميل وخدمته ممتازة وأسعاره ممتازة والأكل كان لذيذ. أنصح بتناول طبق المشاوي المشكل في أول زيارة. الرز كان عادي جدًا ولم أكرر التجربة في لاحق الزيارات. يعيب المطعم زحمته وعدم توفر مواقف. فيه مواقف في سوبر ماركت المدينة قريبة من المطعم (حوالي 4 دقائق مشي) لكن يعيبها أن الأربعة أدوار الأولى تقريبًا خاصة بشركة.

Amazing food for amazing value. Owners are, really friendly, jolly good and caring. Absolute blast to experience Iranian cuisine.

Ambience:
A gem in the heart of old Dubai. The interior is decorated with objects that each have historical resemblance and value. One feels like sitting in a restaurant in an old souq in Iran. All around the walls you see pictures of people who have visited the restaurant. Lovely place that takes you back in time.

مطعم قديم ومميز خصوصاً بالمشويات جداً لذيذة.

المكان صغير وعدد الطاولات تقريباً ٧ أو ٨، ديكور المطعم مليئ بالصور والمطعم ما شاء الله مزدحم باستمرار والخدمة جيدة.

المشويات الكباب الدجاج واللحم كلها ممتازة جداً، وأنصح بطلب مشويات مشكلة و كباب سلطاني.

السلطة المقدمة مع الطلبات، كانت طازجة جداً والزبادي لذيذ، الحمص والخبز ممتاز، الشوربة والفلافل ممتازة. الرز الأبيض جيد جداً كان ناقصه إضافة البرباريس معه ، وفيه نوع رز آخر لذيذ وأفضل، لكن للأسف يتوفر فقط في فترة الغداء (رز أخضر معه شبث ونوع من البقوليات)

أخيراً المطعم يستحق التجربة وواحد من أفضل المطاعم الإيرانية في دبي والمنطقة.

The hype is not unfounded, we ordered mix platter and every item was tingling the taste buds in its own uniq way.

Who doesn't love this place and its food. The trick though is to choose a time when it is not super crowded so you can get the best of food and service.

I was there two months ago in my trip to Dubai. We ordered a few item and their Chicken boti kabab was one of the best out of two.

Although the Kebabs are second to none in all of UAE, the main reason that I like this place is the rich history associated with the place and the ambience.

Founded nearly 43 years ago, this place has been frequented by all the major celebrities and you see all of their visits captured in photos which cover all of their walls. Yes the walls are covered by thousands of pictures of celebrities and commoners visiting the place.

The owners (I don't know their names) are very welcoming and they make sure that they go to all the tables and welcome them with their famous line "Welcome Home".

It's a must visit place, and the prices are very genuine. The taste is far better than other Iranian brands like Noon Kebab and Hatam.

This place has a great history and actually the best kebap (kebabs) in Bur Dubai. A must try is the Mix Grill for 1.the brother running the place just add to the charm and character of the resteraunt.

Regardless if you live in or just visiting Dubai, this place is a must go! It’s been serving great Persian grills for over 40 years now in the same place with the same spirit. The location and venue may not look as fancy as other places in Dubai, but trust me for a minute it takes you back to where we all come from. Such a great place, high quality food, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Best lamb kebabs. Unique environment. And the best customer service. Management really knows how to interact with customers and make them feel like family. Loved it

The food is delicious and even the place is nice to sit and look at these picture, My kids loved the place and want to come back, the only thing I want to change in this place is the toilets it needs to be more clean than that

There are much better and cheaper options available in town. It cost me 45 dhs for a kebab platter and a soup (meal for 1 person). No sides included with the platter. Have to park far far away from restaurants. Have to register and stand in queue for your turn in busier days. After all this effort the food they serve doesn't worth a visit.

I am a customer since 1990. Ostaadi is one of the most emblematic places of Dubai. We often use "the best" to describe the quality of current this in our life. The Ostaadi's kebab is a real seven stars food!
"Best" is not enough to describe its taste!

Pretty good food. However, they really need to invest some money in the restaurant. The bathroom is embarrassing and the main hall is also showing signs of severe wear and tear. I understand this is a dubai classic but everyone can benefit from TLC every once in a while. Finally, the servers also are rather slow.

The minced chicken kebabs are so consistently good. Ask them for a side of cranberries and make sure to try their hummus. So good!

This is a must go place if you are in Dubai. The Kebabs, hummus they were delicious The food comes quick. Don’t forget to take mint tea as well. I would definitely go back again.

The chicken saffron was dry. The setting is not appealing at all. Massive renovation is in order. The tableware needs to be updated as well as everything else for that matter.

Top rated family owned Authentic Persian Kebab Restaurant close to Al Fahidi Station now called Sharaf DG Station & to some Historical Sites in the Old Dubai. It is always crowded during the rush hour and people do not mind waiting to be seated to taste their most delicious and freshly prepared kebabs. Photos, paper notes, clocks, little trinkets and lifetime memories decorate the restaurant. I went here several times and I can't wait to see some improvements in the interior and more space for customers. Overall, the best Kebab place I've ever been to.

Food quality is good compared to the price that you pay

Great food, huge portion size and amazing staff.
While the place is older that I am, it has a huge history which is represented inside the restaurant as well.
Taste wise it was delicious and nicely prepared and it’s surely enough to be completely full.
The staff is Incredibly nice and tries to make your experience worth it.

Been coming here for three years now and loved the place and food endlessly. Unfortunately, food quality went down, prices went up, but the worst is the attitude of the owners. Owner kept coming to us and other guests and kept rushing everyone to eat and leave. Last time they kicked us out literally the moment we put our forks down, after 20 minute meal. We hadn’t stood up yet, they were already putting next guests at the still dirty table. Nothing like a real Iranian hospitality, not even close to McDonald’s hospitality.

Visited this renovated eatery after 15 years for a take away dinner. To begin with the owner's representative at the Till is very friendly and jocular, whc is a great change from the norm.
The take away dinner consisting of chicken and meat barbeque was delicious alongwith their sauce.
Their rotis weren't tasty. We found them to be dry.
All in all it was a delicious meal.

This restaurant was one of the best that we went in Dubai, the owner is very pleasant and helpful in case if you are not familiar with Iranian food. The lentil soup it is amazing, the meal plates awsome, and the complimentary tea very nice.

Irarian hotel that is a Best budget kabab resturant of Dubai. The tastes are really delicious. Many world renowned personalities have visited this hotel. There chulu kabab and mix 4 are among the best. With oats soup as starter. Humus is definitely delicious.i rate it 10 out of 10 for taste. 10 out of 10 for envoirment. The owner know several languages.

This is historical place. I think this is Iranian owned resturant. They have big varities of food of kewabs and all. This is a place you must go to if you are onces in Dubai.

Amazing food, clean, the staff are a bit rude but they are busy so I can kind of understand, generous in the food, a little bit expensive but its worth it to be honest.

Lovely and very friendly hospitible owners. Well renowned for their kebabs and been in establishment since the 70's. Different platters and variations on kebabs. I really enjoyed the lamb and chicken kebabs, however, found the yoghurt ones too sour.

Best hummus ever & chicken was also very delicious

One and only the best Persian restaurant I have been to till date. It’s like we have entered into telecommunications museum also it feels like a photo gallery. Most of the famous bloggers, celebrities, ruler of Dubai have been to this place so you can imagine their speciality and hospitality of food culture. You will find a wonderful place to eat in groups. They serve the best hummus in town also their mutton and chicken dishes are next level.

They start with soup and salad
Soup is fine but salad they serve properly lettuce, tomato, onion, lemon and chilly

And I ordered mix grill platter worth 120 Dhs which was good enough for 4 but it meant for 3 people mutton kebab and chicken seek kebab was my personal favourite their rotti or bread is also so thin and crispy.

Finally they will serve you mint Sulaimani after this heavy meal also sweet dates (dates only on request)

It’s owner will be there in the cashier with a smiling face talking any language and cracking some jokes too also their team who serves the food is also amazing.
