Allsopp & Allsopp Real Estate Broker – Business Bay

I have had a horrible rent experience.
I rented an apartment with Allsopp this month, the agents were very friendly and ready to answer my messages UNTIL I signed the contract, then they started just ignoring me.

They never mentioned the exact amount of fees and taxes I would have to pay when signing the contract, said always a lower value, when the contract came “SURPRISE!” almost 10k extra.
Agent advertised the property as chiller free without confirming information with landlord, after signing the contract landlord charged me extra 10k for Air conditioning.
The agents did a contract with wrong premisse number just because they NEVER cross checked the information so DEWA was activated on the wrong apartment, I had to move without electricity and wait more than 5 days to activate it and had extra expense with DEWA of AED555,73 due to Ejari cancelation and reissue fees, DEWA transfer and bill payment for something I didn’t use.
Almost 1 month after signing the contract and I am still waiting for a document they need to give to me, signed by the landlord.
Now as it wasn’t bad enough, I sent an email to the company to make the complaint as informed by employee to do so, the manager answered my email saying he would get in touch with me on Monday, and more than 1 day later I still got no call.
I would NEVER recommend this Agency.

What a poor serviceI, We left several messages on their answer phone and no response. It stated they would come back to me but nothing! `when we did get through the woman at the end of the phone was extremely rude. There are much better agents in Dubai who are polite and caring. We eventually bought our place from Haus and Haus. Problem is A&A when the bubble bursts your reputation will precede you.

May be it is a good Dubai real estate agency if you are standing with the money on their doorsteps, but they have no intention in building long lasting relationships with the clients.
We wanted to rent in 3 months (we need to inform our landlord 2 months prior of contract ends), and Allsopp&Allsopp agent Alex Turner said that he doesn't want to spend his time on us (I wanted to know the neighborhood and the options that we will have within our budget), he just want to deal with people who want to move in the next 3 weeks.

Daniel - real estate, was efficient, replied in time and always arrived in time, however was quite pushy in terms of decision making (even though I made a decision in 1 day) he kept speeding me up and was quite rude.

Christian real estate agent didn’t answer for days and hours, takes long time to get his response.

They will force you to pay sales progression fee of 7.500 dirham. It is totally an
Invention! They explain that the sales progression team will Support your deal. It is not true.

The sales progression team is not efficient. Our sales progression officer didnt answer my phone calls, took a few hours to answer the whatsup messages. Gulten, sales progression officer, was very confused and acted only only when you push her! Not as it is supposed to be for 7.500 dirhams. It was not the greatest experience.

I don’t recommend.

We have been using this company for the management of our apartment in Dubai. We are very pleased with the level of service we have received. All staff we have had dealings have been very good. Our main contact Ruby has always responded very promptly to our emails and has acted quickly to resolve any problems we may have encountered.

For years I have found the Estate Agents in Dubai really difficult to deal with. That was until I was fortunate enough to get in contact with David Broider at Allsop and Allsop. Unfortunately I don't recommend dealing with this agency. All good until the commission is paid. Then the agent just drops the ball. A rental commission of multiple thousands AED entails for more than just making a connection between a landlord and a tenant. A lot of things are pushed between the tenant / landlord. The only thing they followed up by email was to propose me to do the Ejari for me against an unrealistic fee. Simple things like move in permit not handled at all. Follow up and inspections on the small maintenance prior to move in are not done. Worse: agent goes on leave before move in. The replacement agent just hands over the wrong keys, does not conduct an inspection and doesn't seem to care at all. We were lucky the landlord was very responsive and helpful although not in the country at the moment. If you are dealing with Allsopp and Allsopp, I recommend to pay only 50% of the commission initially and the remaining once the keys are handed over and everything is in order.

Couldn’t find a more reliable and knowledgeable agent than David Korbel. Something I appreciate is sincerity in trying to help people find the perfect home, and I felt that with David. He really is so helpful!

After having gone through multiple real estate firms, i can say Allsop n allsop have the best listings for dubai. Robert was helping me pick a property and he did a great job understanding my requirement upfront. Also the viewings with Robert were seamless, no waiting and absolutely the kind of properties I wanted to see.

I'm sure as a Landlord the will do everything to keep you happy but as a tenant I'm not impressed.

Even when you don't have water supply to your property they will not expedite the work untill you call them multiple times and harras them until they will arrange for a team to fix it.

One of the worst real estate agencies. I totally advice avoiding them as they will try sucking your security deposits. They’re not working as per RERA rules; claiming expenses without any documented inventories. Extremely horrible

The reviews are mostly 5 stars or 1 which is weird. I had the most horrible experience with this Real Estate agency not only once but twice. I gave them another try after my first bad experience thinking maybe it would not be the same. But I was wrong, it was worst. They only care about money. They are rude and give you wrong/fake information and on top of that their commission is higher than other real estate agency. If you want to be treated properly, have a peaceful process and being able to trust your agent, this is not the place. Do not recommend at all!

Heard this company is not just incompetent with their external customers, same goes with their internal customers and employees. No wonder even if you spend a fortune and mask your company to look good from the outside, but inside, you blatantly maltreat your employees. It wound still smell, and it smells terrible, decaying and awful!
