AMIT is the distributor of several brands, mainly in the marine category, including Garmin. I visited them to buy (yet another) Garmin watch. While the store itself has a very traditional look and feel, it blends well into the neighbourhood of Al Ras, one of the oldest parts of Dubai. The staff there are friendly, responsive, and well versed with the products I was looking for. They also carry a healthy inventory of Garmin products, so you will not be disappointed.
Regarding after sales service, I have had a very professional and pleasant experience at AMIT Dubai. Their customer service is excellent, and they resolved my product issue promptly. I have bought seven (yes!) Garmin wearables from them, and would recommend this store any time. They also do free delivery for online orders, which is an option if you live in the other end of town, like Dubai Marina or the newer developments.
Parking in the Al Ras area is always a challenge, but there is a paid multi-level parking nearby. This is located on the right side (if you are approaching AMIT from Radisson BLU), a couple of hundred metres before AMIT. There is also a smaller private paid parking area immediately after AMIT.
Very disappointed. My Garmin Forerunner 45 has a white spot on the screen that is growing slightly every day (a problem Garmin is aware). I had to send two emails before getting an answer. They eventually ask me 501 aed for replacement! I told them I was not happy with this "offer". AMIT was supposed to send a email to Garmin and let me know. No news at all after more than 2 weeks.
My old Fenix 5S broke down and I contacted AMIT by email. They advised me to return the watch. It arrived yesterday and they got in touch to say it was (sadly) beyond repair but offered me a trade in. The new watch has arrived today. Could not be happier. Thank you for the great service.
Very wide range of Garmin products and very professional staff. Mark and Noriel from tech team/customer service are really friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure dealing with them, responsive, collaborative and efficient. Only parking there is a problem. I recommend this place for anyone looking for Garmin product in Dubai

Amazing store. You get to see all models of Garmin Products (al colours as well). In addition they have lots of products for Diving, Finishing, sea adventures, etc. All their staffs are super friendly. If you are a Garmin fan/user, and wish to buy/repair, this is the place!
Excellent service from these guys. You won’t get better Garmin equipment and service elsewhere. Professional, fast, knowledgeable. Only downside is that they’re a bit far from new Dubai but well worth the drive!

Apart from being the other end of town from where I stay, and not the easiest place to park / get to. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and I managed to get what I wanted.
The staff are super friendly. I have a Garmin Forever Runner 235 which I have not been using for some time and it seems that it was not charging and the loop on the band is broken. They told me that the battery does need some time to be recharged if after long time no use. And they replaced the loop for me free of charge. I really appreciate the good service they provided. Super Fast Service, my Garmin watch had a small crack on the HR sensor, I contacted support, and the watch was replaced the same day. Well done Amit, please keep up this level of service.
Went today to Amit with my Garmin 645 music, the watch had a software issue, the backlight always stayes slightly on. I already spoke to Noriel on the phone about the issue. I emailed him all the correspondence that I had with Garmin support, he told me to come to the shop and see what he could do. The watch had to be sent back to the manufacturer this normally takes a long time. Bakhit and Noriel checked in the store how they could help me with my watch. The service was amazing while waiting I received a capucchino and a bottle of water. They spoke the the owner Aziz and he told me I could get a replacement watch. This was amazing and Iam very grateful.
Very bad experience. I will explain the situation to be fair for both sides. It mandatory to install a vhf radio in a 35ft boat or above so I went to Amit in maritime to buy one since I love Garmin. The sale person Nabil was very nice and helpful so I bought the vhf but I needed to get a letter from them directed to the concerned authorities but Nabile (the sales person) told me that the manager is not available at the maritime location and gave me an invoice with the serial number and told me to collect the letter from the alras location because the manager is available there and to pay for it there because the credit card machine is not working at his location. So I went to maritime authority to try to see if it's ok to register my boat with just an invoice with no letter and they said they will start the application so they took the serial number of the vhf and told me to get the letter and be back before 1 PM, that's when they close. So I went to alras and I paid for it and asked for the letter and they told me to wait 5 minutes which is fair enough since I had an hour to get back to maritime authority, 5 minutes turned in to 45 minutes then asked for the manager they told me that he was in a meeting so I asked for a refund and went back to see if I can register the boat without the letter again maritime authority were so helpful and did it for me but I had to bring them the original letter the following working day. So I went back to amit asking for the manager they told me that he is busy thats when i got frustrated and started to get angry i kept asking for the manager a sales guy came and told me the manager is not there and the letter is ready I told him, me being angry, that a signature will take 2 seconds to sign on the letter why did it take more than 2 hour him being sarcastic he told me that the manager was not available, finally the manager came down, he was not happy at all that he had to come down asking what happened disregarding my frustration I told him the story and one of the guys there said that I was a liar in front of the manager so I got even more frustrated that the manager didn't even say anything. The manager, I guess he is also the owner I am not sure, told me that if I don't like it there is the door i can leave then I told him that the authorities already has the serial number then he told me that I am stuck i have to buy the vhf from them.
What should I expect from the employees if the manager has no respect for customers.
I love Garmin but the problem is that I have to buy it from Amit because they are the distributor for Garmin, which I will not do anymore not that it really matter to them.
