Animal Specialist Clinic

I took my two dogs, a poodle and a Maltese mix, to the animal specialist clinic for grooming and haircuts. The team there was attentive, and I noticed that their charges were comparable to what mobile grooming services usually charge. It might be a good idea for them to consider introducing a loyalty program with additional discounts to keep their regular clients.

The only downside was that it took almost four hours to groom both dogs. Compared to other places where it usually takes around one hour per dog, it felt a bit slow. Despite that, the groomer did a thorough job, and the results were satisfying. Most importantly, my dogs seemed pretty happy with the whole experience.

In short, even though it took a bit longer than expected, I appreciate the team's attention to detail, and my dogs left content. The loyalty program suggestion is just a thought for them to consider for customer retention.

I had a consultation at the clinic a week ago.
The doctor was great, but the service was unpleasant as I bought 3 different type of medicine for my cat. What was a surprise when I realized that the assistant didn't give me enough pills to finish the treatment.
They are also refusing to provide me enough amount of pills which I actually paid for.

We recently had a remarkable experience with Animal Specialist Clinic, and we can't express our gratitude enough! Our beloved 8-year-old pug, Riri, started experiencing a concerning symptom, with white mucus coming from her genital. Although she seemed fine otherwise, we decided to take her to the clinic for a check-up just to be safe.

Dr. Varghese and his team were incredibly attentive and thorough. They conducted an ultrasound and discovered that Riri had a swollen uterus condition called pyometra, which can be life-threatening if left untreated. Additionally, they found a tumor on her right breast that needed to be removed. We scheduled the surgery promptly, and throughout the entire process, the team provided us with constant updates, keeping our minds at ease.

The day of the surgery arrived, and we were relieved to hear that it went extremely well. To our surprise, they also discovered another tumor on Riri's left side, which they promptly removed. Thankfully, both tumors were confirmed to be benign! After spending 48 hours in the hospital, Riri returned home and is recovering splendidly, showered with love and care.

Dr. Varghese and his team went above and beyond to ensure Riri's well-being and kept us informed every step of the way. It's been 8 months now as we are taking advice and consultation from Dr. Nazia for our pet Maltese dog Dior. Must say Nazia is an amazing Doctor. Am thankful to her for saving the life of my Diorii while she had chest infection. Last week again we went to the clinic as usual excellent Doctor, staff and groomer too his name is Ace.

Honestly, my cat was on the edge of dying, he had a minimum survival rate as he was +Parvo, Dr. Nazla did EXCELLENT job, treatment, care with love.

Dr. Nazala is an exceptional veterinarian who truly goes above and beyond for her patients and their owners. From the moment you step into her clinic, you can tell that she genuinely cares about the well-being of your furry friend. She takes the time to get to know your pet and understand their unique needs, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.

Not responding on what's app when we say it's urgent. How can we rely on a vet that does this! Poor customer service skills and rude behavior when we ask why there is a delay.

Some vets are good, some are just not. Please try not to be commercial as its the life of felines you're playing with. Very VERY upset with the way they comprehend things and give false and random feedbacks.

I feel that over the course of time this clinc has proven to be excellent, well deserving of 5 star.
We keep on working with them with our strays. In multiple instances they showed real compassion towards the animals, which is something that other places lack of.

I dealt with this clinic for over a year now.
My wife and I are rescuers and we sent over the course of time multiple cats to be taken care of.

Overall the clinic is good.

The veterinarians were well prepared and did their job with compassion.

Dr Marko and Dr. Raheem did an oustanding work with Omar and Pancake respectively.

Omar, an older stray with multiple issues, was cured for almost a month by Dr. Marko. The end result was excellent. We just released him back to the community where he will be able to live the rest of his life confortably.

Pancake a younger gentleman dumped by his douche former owner because Parvo positive, has almost won his battle against the virus, has been vaccinated and soon will fly off to the uk to be adopted by a good family.

Four star rating due to the admin team. Billing quality is inconsistent and a bit peculiar (some rates are quoted with 4 decimal digits for example 76.2378 dhs). Sometimes errors are made or previously agreed discounts are not applied until prompts/reminders are given.so I do recommend complete checking of all documents before paying.

We had very good experience with this clinic. The place was clean and everyone was very professional. We came for my dog’s castration and when he got sick recently. Everyone was very helpful and kind. They were very patient at giving updates, instructions and answering all our questions. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazing service from the staff receptionist Diana to the vet.that I forgot his name. Team was wonderful and very professional in assisting and handling our dog. This will definately be our choice of clinic for our pets.

Animal Specialist Clinic has been caring for my cats for years. They are caring, supportable and most importantly, professional.

I took my puppy here due to hair loss, and all I can say is this vet clinic is awful! Rude staff, inexperienced vets! The vet Dr. Raheem, guesses out of his mind what’s might be going on, he even isn’t sure or suggested any further tests. Even though he gave me a medicine which I found out isn’t suitable for dogs less than a year and although I complained, they tried to convince me that it is fine to use it in puppy. I’ve paid more than 500 for such a poor service and the issue wasn’t solved even! Disaster!

We found this amazing clinic after a stray cat from our community found its way into our backyard and was in a severe condition (on death bed) following a fight with another cat. After calling multiple clinics that advertise to support Stray Animals in various ways, none really committed to offering any reduced costs. Following a call to Animal Specialists, the outstanding Juliebeth was able to squeeze us in 30mins before closing and was able to avail, through her management discounted rates. Dr Ahmed and his amazing team were very quick to act and treat the injured cat, providing us with a full diagnosis and treatment plan. Having dealt with a few clinics over the last few years, my wife and I had never come across a clinic that treated all animals the same, whether domestic or stray and it was such a heart-warming experience. We have now started directing all own fury family members to this amazing treatment center. Thank you to all at Animal Specialists for doing such an amazing job, providing daily updates/photos videos and for a management team/owner that truly support the treatment of all animals of all creeds, kinds and status.

If you're looking for a place where your pet's health and comfort are priority- look no more- Animal specialist clinic is your place. I transitioned from testing the waters by fostering a stray to adopting it thanks to the support from Ms. Angelica in the clinic. The clinic involved me through out my pets healing process, which meant a lot. He was put through bthe right amount of tests and with so muh care too! It's done wonders for his health and the support I got from Ms. Angelica was immeasurable. I would not have had my pet if it wasn't for her steadfast support.

I live outside of the UAE and urgently needed to purchase prescription dog food for my dogs. The Animal Specialist Clinic were very responsive and assisted me in sourcing both the Hills z/D and Hills c/D from their supplier. Special mention to the wonderful Julibeth who was very helpful in our WhatApp discussion and also had everything ready for me to collect at the clinic. Everytime i come the staffs were so approachable. The quality of the service they provide is good. Julibeth and Angelica are friendly and if i ask something, they respond immediately. All the staffs have pleasing personlity incuding ther nurses.

I used their vet home services twice now for my 3 cats. Both times were excellent experiences - the vets were on time and come with the complete tools and equipments and take care of everything. They show genuine care and compassion for my cats. For one blood test, they had to put 2 of my cats under general anesthesia and waited with me until the cats woke up and they didn’t leave until I felt comfortable that the cats were fine. Very fine service! Also the reception team was responsive on WhatsApp - Angelica, Juli, Lisa and Imma - ready for all my inquiries and quick response on my requests. Wonderful experience and highly recommended

Vets are good, don’t get me wrong. I am just disappointed I was convinced into buying supplements for stray cats I brought in. The cats are now gone and I never used the supplements. I was told: « we don’t have a refund policy, sorry. Give it to a friend ». For a 80aed item, I find this being quite frustrating!

Ima and Ram from the reception- their services has been excellent, friendly and helpful. Super patience person and they have been handling our request so well. We from non profit organisation of animal resquer group has been frequenting to use the animal soecialist clinic with members own pocket money and not sponsored by any party. Been a constant customer, we feel that we have the price charged for the services performed is on high side and pricey as we feel that they could do justice and charity indirectly by lowering their charges especially to voluntarily animal rescuer group that is passionate by forking our own hard earned money to support the stray animals to keep on surviving. Despite that they have great receptionist, sadly we decide to move all our rescue cases to another clinic in Dubai (with brilliant quality service and extremely better rate) and this allow me to rescue more.

I've been entrusting my three cats to Animal Specialist Clinic for almost 2 years now and everything was just perfect every appointment that I've been there. Receptionists Angelica, Julibeth and Aram have been very helpful in our bookings and follow-ups and nurses Bryan and Mario have been handling my cats' well being as well. They have been very professional in dealing with clients and they never fail to explain the precautions and post-op care. My cats went over their three veterinarians and all of them have performed exceptionally well and gave the best services possible. Will be staying with ASC for my present (and future) furry friends.

Never recommend this clinic unless you have disposable money with no promise for your pet to get well. Very unprofessional stuff, very money oriented clinic, in this clinic it's all about money not saving animals.took a dying cat there to get him oxygen, which most of other vets told us he can't make it ended up spending 1k on tests then 3k bcuz they said give him a chance and they hospitalise him for 5 days nothing improved but got worse as he stayed alone under stress in a cage alone and one more test end of the story whos responsible for spending 4500 they made us to spend on the who died just after 3 days we brought him home.his nasal block never opened to be able to breath nor anything else.this place is commercial clinic not a responsible one.

I have found the Animal Specialist Clinic to be very caring and professional. I have been there twice and will not hesitate to return. My dog was spayed there last week and recovered quickly. She had a very neat and minimal scar to show for it. Very happy with the attentive care.

After dealing with this veterinary they've proven to be the most heart warming and professional in the UAE. Today we lost our Micky. It's not a sad day but a good day since he's in a better place, Dr Ahmed and Dr Lenka did their best to save him but he just wasn't strong enough. Both Drs knew Micky for many years and have treated our other dogs and cats. This place is truly remarkable. Special thanks to Shammi for helping us throughout this hard time and keeping in touch with us. Also thanks to the nurses groomer and reception that worked with Micky throughout his long life.

Was my first experience at your clinic, all went well, friendly staff but I expected to have a call back for follow up, guidance special that I have a stray cat.

Their staff was so nice. Doctor are good, listening well and giving good advice. They make my cat healthy after a day only. The only negative thing I think about them is they are charging their medicine very expensive. For example kaptin suspension they charge me for 21 aed, its not a full bottle supply and outside pharmacy, it only cause 8.50 aed. So I advice you guys to better to buy medicine outside pharmacy. I will come back here but I will think about the medicine charge they are doing. ️

Our family experience with the team at ASC was superb from start to finish. Professional front-line staff, empathetic veterinary team, and a warm and welcoming environment. It is also well located, with easy parking outside. The company has my heartfelt recommendation.

Disappointing experience. Poor and unprofessional service, they just want to make money. Post consultation tried reaching out to doctor several times, forget about Doctor even the reception will not entertain your call properly. They offer 50% consultation discount, and charge you exuberant amount in other services and medicines to cover that. Definitely not going back again.

I would love to give this vet clinic a good rating, because I know that they give charity rates which I find commendable, but I just can't. ASC got recommended to me on the bin kitty group, so I continuously used Animal Specialist Clinic for my cats and foster kittens and honestly every single time after my visit to them, my cats did not get better.ever.
Two of ASC's vets are also constantly getting into unprofessional heated arguments and contentions with other cat owners on Facebook which I find appalling and unprofessional. Would also like to mention the exorbitant prices that the vets charge for 5 minutes of their time, after which their diagnoses aren't correct and you're left having to pay for another consultation fee or see another vet. As a final note I would like to say that out of my and my wife's many visits to the clinic, that there was one vet that was kind and he took the time to listen and consider the animal's needs. I would really like to see the standard of that vet's practice to be upheld by all of the vets at this clinic. This would truly make a HUGE difference and if achieved, I will go back to supporting ASC. Please strive to do better, ASC.

I've lived in Dubai for 12 years and ASC is my go-to vets. They are kind, helpful and incredible value. They take great care of my beloved 19 year old cat and they also do such great work with rescues. They've helped me with rehabilitating street cats and their kindness is incredible. I have friends who drive from the Palm and the Greens to see them - they're that good. Highly recommend.

The overall experience was discouraging, front desk staff need to have training on customer service and fees are pricey. Have been a few times before my last visit but will not go back.

Shammi C the lady who owns a bin kitty account on fb is so rude and unprofessional. When asked for advice she accused me of breeding my cats on purpose and told me to post it on her page so people could attack me and see how it went. People like this don’t deserve to give professional advice or even open up pages like this. So disappointed as I thought she would be the person to give good feedback. But all they do is accuse people before helping out. That is so selfish. I’m sure there are way better people and clinics that can help out. So disappointed in Shammi. And to think i was going to send my cats to her clinic. Unbelievable.

I have previously taken my cats to two other vets in Dubai, but I found Animal Specialist Clinic to have the best quality at a fair price. They run good monthly promotions, as well. In response to Covid-19, they installed this crazy sanitizing machine that mists you on your way into the clinic - they really care about safety!

I would like to share my experience I had today with two different vets.
I found a bird inside Dragon Mart struggling to walk on the floor, trapped him and took him to the nearest vet available. He seemed miserable and definitely in pain but instead of treating that bird with the utmost attention, they decided to panic and refused to allow that bird in their clinic. I was disappointed to know that he was too sick to be treated BUT they still advised me to release him back out there. Out there to die a slow miserable death or out there to infect the other healthy happy birds in the surroundings?
I don’t want to focus on the stressful time I went through but the response of the other vet Animal specialist clinic, they responded back in minutes, managed to get me a slot in their busy schedule and treat a bird which other’s refused to treat. All I saw was compassion from the staff and vets towards the poor bird.
The bird didn’t make it unfortunately but at least he is not suffering anymore. My purpose of the post is not to name shame anyone, I can’t be teaching vets to be compassionate towards animals but it’s really heartwarming to see that there are still a few vets who care.

I had an emergency rescue to take to the clinic as they were closing. The stayed open past closing time so I could drop off the cat. I was kept informed on all costs every step of the way and the cat was released a few days later. Great service and will return again. Thank you to all the staff at ASC for the seamless service.

Booked and paid upfront for my cat’s spay, vaccination and micro chipping. Did the vaccination first and the spay was booked for the following week, when I called a day before the spay appointment to confirm, they said the spay was done last week and this week is for vaccination. This happened again when I called them a few days later and this caused a lot of issues as I was traveling with my cat and was on a strict time constraint.

Great affordable care for you animal with sound advice from specialists. Even though this place is a substantial drive away from home, the level of care and the pricing make this my go to place. The place only lacks a star since the organisational level from the back office and administration makes it a case where you find it hard to place confidence in them to get your billing and similar done right, especially during busy times. But a small price to pay for your furry friends we'll bieng!

They were not as professional as a vet should be. There were disorganized and the reception looked like a fish market. I think if they renovated the place and made a more presentable waiting area with more seating area and the staff be taught how to better handle clients they would be am sure better than where they are now. It's a shame cause I feel they have really good potential to be better than what they are now.

I just took in an ill pet African Gray. Consultation took exactly an hour. Explaining thoroughly how to bring up and take great care of the parrot.

The Doctor really took the time to explain EVERYTHING from A to Z. Tips and tricks. She then went on and checked it. Truly an amazing vet. The way she was devoted to her job even on EID time was heartwarming. I was so worried and was very sad to feel that I was about to loose my friend Coco. She cleaned him, petted him, calmed him, and tought me how to administer medication to him. She didn't judge me at all for the way a brought him in, instead she gave me great advice on what cage to get, and what toys to buy even where to get them from. Never thought I'd see the day I find a great vet in Dubai.

The staff and management of the Animal Specialist Clinic are bar-none the most caring and dedicated that I have seen throughout Dubai. I have been to multiple vets and clinics from RAK to Abu Dhabi, and I am extremely thankful for finding Animal Specialist Clinic.
Although they do not do any advertising, they are always packed full from reputation. That's not to say there is any wait time though - no matter what the case, someone is always ready to go above and beyond to make sure the animal is healthy and happy and the owners pleased.
I cannot thank Animal Specialist Clinic enough for all they have done! From the dozens of emergency cases to the standard checkups and checkovers, ASC is professional, accurate, communicative, and caring. I'd like to especially note Dr. Ahmed's and Dr. Lanka's special abilities to bond with any animal and intimately understand what is going on.
I would whole heartedly recommend ASC to anyone in search of the best veterinary care in Dubai!

The entire staff at the Animal Specialist Clinic are wonderful, compassionate human beings who treat each and every animal - whether purebred or off the street - with dignity and compassion. They have looked after my indoor pets and outdoor cat colony, keeping every healthy for the past four years.

The vets are helping me with four geriatric cats at the moment, from diagnosis to palliative care, and, most importantly, they have helped me make the Very Difficult Decisions that are part of pet ownership.

In addition to vet/medical services, they also help the local community with special TNR rates, adoption days for the strays, and boarding for the more privileged pets.

I would recommend ASC for everyone!

This Clinic will bleed you dry if you are on a budget, definitely don’t use these guys if you have rescued an animal and need to manage costs, even on charity rate (which requires pre-approval) they are not doing you any favours because they will find ways to make you pay the difference. If you are a pet owner and are willing to spend tons of money unnecessarily, this is the place to go. If you are stranded and must visit this place, make sure you try to get a second opinion before proceeding with any treatment they recommend as it is most probably not necessary. One more piece of advice, if you come here, make sure to tell them in advance that they need to check with you before doing anything, as they will just do whatever they want and then slap you with the bill. This place is not providing a service, it is pure commercial, they are after one thing and one thing only $$$. Shameful to hide under the umbrella of working with charity, it’s not a crime to be commercial but you must declare it, the charity organizations need to regulate the places they associate themselves with.
