Anise offers a wide variety of international cuisine. Amazing live cooking station, friendly and accommodating staff. I love the sushi station and gives a japanese vibes, Chef Basanta made a delicious and delightful sushi. Excellent service. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the New Year 2024 in Anise Restaurant. As always, food was superb, the duo band was on fire and amazing, and the service was truly commendable. I would like to highlight the service given to us by Pramila and Shaleem - they were so attentive and quick to their feet in making sure that we are cared for, fed well, and assisted in every way possible. It was such a great experience. Thank you so much for the wonderful New Year's Eve dinner.

Soaring ceiling and plenty of light, interesting decor, nice view of the Dubai skyline on the outdoor deck. Wide variety of dishes. Mina was our server, welcoming, efficient, and professional. Thank you!

Terrible service. We came to try this restaurant. The waiter was very unpleasant, not wanting to serve us a mojito until we went to help ourselves at the buffet for fear that we would just have a drink. So on HOLIDAY, we had to go help ourselves to prove our good liver. Taking the time to have a drink before eating was therefore impossible under penalty of being called liars! I'll spare you the waiter who watches you throughout the service. And the icing on the cake: the cocktails which cost us 128 AED for two even though they appear at 45 AED each on their menu! The waitress who also doesn't give change! In short, a happy mess. We will NEVER return to this restaurant. Total disappointment for a 5 star it’s a shame. Any buffet.

Anise did not disappoint my Dubai vacay! I have few more days left here and checked over this place. For a picky food eater person like, this place is beyond perfect - they are serving variety of foods and I can't have enough, I kept coming back to the isle of lovely dishes! Staffs are very approachable and friendly, especially when I slipped my glass of water. Special mention for this staff name Grizelda or Criselda? And the Managet Akshat - you guys are awesome and sooo kind to have offer me immediate help and answer all my questions about food ingredients! Both smart! Love this place and would go back before I go home! Thank you, guys! You deserve more than 5 stars! Kudos!

For me, Anise is the most amazing Restaurant in Dubai and for sure because it has the best Manager ever Akshat who always exceed my Expectations.

We had the greatest time at Anise. We stayed at the Intercontinental for 11 nights and had breakfast and dinner there everyday.
Everyone from the staff was always very helpful. Special thanks to Rahul, Naseeb, and Ajay, they were always very kind while making my 1-year old daughter smile and playing with her. Thank you very much.
We'll come back for sure.

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Anise Restaurant with my colleagues, and I must say that the international buffet dinner we experienced was nothing short of perfection. Exquisite Sushi Selection: The sushi station showcased an impressive assortment of freshly prepared sushi rolls. The vibrant colours and impeccable presentation were a testament to the skill of the sushi chefs. Each piece was a burst of umami goodness, and our group couldn't resist returning for seconds. The chef even made sure he prepared several trays of sushi platters for our table of 14 people.

Decadent Dessert Bar: The dessert selection was a sight to behold. From dainty pastries to creamy cheesecakes, velvety mousses to luscious chocolate creations, it was a paradise for those with a sweet tooth.

Service:
The restaurant staff provided exceptional service throughout the evening. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring our glasses were never empty and promptly clearing our plates. They were always ready with a smile and went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Naseeb was amazing in and out and always returned to ensure we were well cared for. The manager, Mr. Akshat Bahal, went high and above to ensure the booking process was smooth and easy.

Overall Experience:
Our buffet dinner at this restaurant was an evening of pure gastronomic bliss. The food's outstanding variety and quality, with the elegant ambience and exceptional service, made it an unforgettable dining experience. I have been to this place 4 times, the first time was the best and since then it’s getting backwards in service. For example I ordered poached soft eggs i got hard soft poached eggs, i asked to change it for soft poached eggs they sent me hard boiled egss, 5 days of bad experience though the supervisor of the place is so good and nice and trying to di his best to teach the staff

Delicious Iftar buffet, highly recomended to have your lunch or dinner there. All dishes were delicious, hot, and well presented.

Ambience is iftar relevant, wide variety of food though more on the indian side than international and Arabic.

Food taste lacked on the spices or maybe my taste buds are not tasting it properly.

More than the buffet it is the ambience, particularly sitting outside during winter. Options are many. Spread is nice. To me it is the ambience and feel good factor which attracts the most

Me and my family have been looking for buffet restaurant that includes amazing food and atmosphere, we found anis restaurant that had everything we wanted and we were amazed of the variety of food they had in their buffet and everything tasted amazing. Also the waiters is so welcoming specially Nimit his the picture of the amazing hospitality your restaurant.

Loved their buffet! Their service was over great, we were assisted by Nimit that was running all over the place making sure everyone is being served

Food quality was not as expected (i.e. Chicken in the red curry tasted bad, rice was not cooked well, date cookie was almost tasteless). The cleanliness of the buffet was really bad. The service was good. Overall, I would not choose to come back.

We arrived exorsted from a fourteen-hour flight and we're very pleased with the welcome we received from all the staff and their efficient service. The breakfast variety and attention to service from all staff is of a very high standard. Our breakfast server, Aditya was extremely helpful for us. Overall an excellent stay and we will make this our regular stopover destination.

Their capability n making guests comfortable are remarkable n as a guest staying here twice I am very touched by the outstanding attitude.

Too busy and over crowded. Food is good but today's ambience was not what we normally enjoy. Maybe not very well suited for iftar buffet.

One of the tasteless foods I’ve ever eaten and over crowded and every food was cold served. I came for Iftar buffet with my family and we were really disappointed with the food quality and very limited of choices almost everything are Arab cousin. So if you are looking for verity and testy food then Anise restaurant isn’t for you. You better check elsewhere. Would definitely not go back again or recommend to anyone.

I went to dine in anise restaurant the Ramadan food was amazing it was so delicious how they make the ambience was so nice shout to chef Asad, Deepak and Shubham they were very helpful they help us to suggest some Indian food also which my family like a lot the food was like home cooked me and my family enjoyed a lot thank you once again we will visit soon ️

The restaurant is missing a lot of selections there used to be two years ago. Still it’s one of the best spots in Dubai for entertaining a multi cultural friends group. Great selection of desserts and Asian/Indian cuisine, and excellent setting on the Creek marina. But I hope stuff like Peking duck, grilled calamari and sashimi get back on the menu.

The ambience is really nice, great service especially Ronnie but you can feel that restaurant is lack of staff. Food selection was excellent. Over all great experience

We tried the dinner buffet. Certain food items could have been better, however they have a good variety that suits all tastes. The ambiance was perfect with their outdoor seating overlooking the festival water front. The service was great, special thanks to Ahmad who truly did all there was to serve us, a very friendly and professional gentleman.

It was beautiful evening and didn't wanted to miss the apportunity of hanging with my girls.with huge expectations we went to Anise the tables was booked and we where ready to enjoy our evening.but was very disappointed went to take lamb biryani only biryani rice was left and the chef was not sure where the lamp was? Went to take mix arabic rice same their again it was long skin of lamp and no meat we where told sorry they had more guest in afternoon and lamp was gone for ride and will come tomorrow. So just would like to ask where we given left over food and charged the same price.very disappointed

Just a Good Buffet, we had much expectations here, but found it below par to the hype wherein anise is ranked in top10s. Quality and food options of these 8 cuisines of anise star were very limited.
For ex Indian cuisine had just 1 curry item and 2 rice option, a soup and just some condiments. Arabic counter had just 2 dishes.

Fish counter just cooks bare fish without any spices, or ingredients. Now who want to eat bare fried fish with out any spices.suggest to add atleast some spices Arabic or indian whatever. We asked repeatedly for this and was served bare cooked fish. Sushi counter had just basic sushi assortment.no tempura, nigris etc. Steaks were very cold and beef was rigid not chewy stuff

Pizzas were delicious, pastas too.soups were tasty and salads were fresh. Pastry and pizzas could be the highlights I felt. Overall the ambience is great, staff courtesy is great.

Since its live cooking on counter, still they didn't want to make fresh pizza.just take the old cold pc.
For breads he clearly refused, no breads or Naan, then the manager intervened and we got.

Cold pcs of kabab, had fat smell on meat pcs. Who makes masoor dal in a buffet?

One of best buffet in Dubai. We stayed at Intercontinental and we used breakfast as well as dinner at Anise. It was always nice quality food, wide spread of food options, best service … top service from Mr. Bahal and his whole team!

A beautiful place to be. Anise is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the 5 star facility it resides in (intercontinental hotel). The buffet is one of the best you can get in Dubai. With a variety of dishes to choose from, no matter what you choose it is going to be a test for your taste buds.
The staff is really warm and welcoming. Our servers, Mr. Ahmed and Miss Meryll made it an awesome experience for my family. We had a vegetarian amongst us when we went in to dine, the staff was soo considerate that they prepared off the menu dish just to comfort this member.

The hospitality was humbling. A must visit!

Very mismanaged service. Even after making a booking we had to wait outside for half an hour.
When they ask for table of choice they should provide one. Or else they should not ask.

Anise is fantastic restaurant serving great food. You get lot of vegetarian options. Dal was superb. Rasmalai, Gulab jamun were very tasty. The ambience is excellent.

Had my hotel breakfasts here and they good some good foods to break your fast. Great services and lots of food to choose from.

Disclaimer: My comparison is with Le Meridian near airport because we had our office party there for past 3 or 4 years and we thought will have it in a different place this year. Big mistake. We took a package that includes drinks as well. Limited options on buffet. Also, they were kind of stingy. Not value for money.

I really want to thank each and everyone in the resturant cause from a couple of days i went to celebrate my anniversary and had comments and was not happy about that day the next day they called me and invited for another try but really was really impresed everything was really more than perfect from the welcome till i left they put n consideration what i meantioned and improved it.the food was delicious the table set up was pretty good and honestly that the owner read the reviews and take a quick action and try to just make me happy and make sure am satisfied for me so it has to be appreciated as its excellent customer relation and they surprized me with a sweet anniversary cake really u made my day and was really happy thank u soo much will try it again soon.

Yesterday I had the chance to enjoy my dinner in this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and the service provided by all the team was amazing. Maria Fernanda from Mexico was looking after me during the whole dinning experience and made my evening very enjoyable. Thank you for your professionalism and authentic care!

The restaurant has become a third level terrible quality and service. Process is increased to 280 pp with no seafood no sushi no real Arabic ouzo. No real desert.

We went for the buffet during Eid. I was disapointed as I am a regular at this restaurant. But food wasn't that good, the dishes tasted a bit bland, chicken was overcooked. You will find a good variety of cuisines, but food tasted better before.

Nice spread of international stations. Food was eclectic and tasty.

The tall ceiling gave the lobby an airy and spacious feel. Worth a visit!

The buffet offered a plethora of cuisines.worth mentioning are the shish tawooq and the lamb kofta.succulent, tender, juicy and spiced to tickle the taste buds.the fish sadya was another delicacy to vouch for.fresh juices and desserts were yet another highlights of anise.all in all the buffet was total value for money and the delicacies were served piping hot.

What an evening.we dined in Anise restaurant for my friend's birthday. Cleophas extended a spectacular service to us and was very professional with the guests he served. Can't wait to visit again.

The sheep was on entrance un seen. We saw it on leave time. The table was for 2 person. I reserved 4 person. One type of sushi was hidden for ladies by chief!

Huge varieties of food and all were more than perfect, little bit pricey but it deserve the experience. Outside area has a very nice view on the laser show.

Tried the evening dinner option. Wow. Superb selection of tempting foods from around the world. The restaurant manager was warm and welcoming. An eastern European woman but I forget her name.
Went for sushi, sashimi and grilled fish with wonderful salads.
The waiter made sure our beers were cold and I have to say the quality of the food was top drawer.
So much choice so I will have to return to try the other offerings.
Warmly recommended.
