Very good option for vegetarians. Good clean ambiance, friendly staff. Most of south Indian dishes are goodgreat filter coffee, vadas and dosas.

We had ordered for a gathering and they delivered well on time. The food was very well praised like the soup, curd rice, lemon rice etc. A wonderful place, must try!

Amazing Tamil traditional food with lots of varieties. You can get any vegetarian dishes of Tamil cuisine. Their menu is so very long. Every food is tasty. Lunch Thali to ala carte snacks, breakfast items all have infinite number of options. It's Worth a pitstop for a lavish food varieties for tourists and for residents/citizens don't miss an opportunity to visit this restaurant. It's far better quality than any of the known chains come from south Indian cuisine. Never miss and you can't finish it in one visit as their entire menu changes every day including their lunch Thali/meals.

The food is really good here. Dishes like Vada and Bajji are prepared freshly and are served hot and crispy. Had a very good experience.

Good food. Service was prompt. Tried plain dosa idli, coffee and tea. All of them were good. Must visit if u r looking for an authentic south indian food. Prices are modest.

Tried Chinese soup and starter with a south Indian main course. Food was good. Service is even better, we found the soup to be a little spicy for our taste, our captain was considerate enough to get us a small portion of sweet.

Good Place for Vegetarians. Eventhough it's a South Indian Restaurant their North Indian Thali Impressed me but only issue was with their quantity and unlimited rule for the price they charge! Having said that staffs are nice and we really enjoyed the food.

Service is great, staff they have are quite friendly and warm.
Food is you can find in most south Indian restaurants here but we found the thattai idli to be great.
Coffee is good along with dosa and vada. Chutney and sambar are also great

Their filter coffee is the best I have ever had in Dubai. Also, their chilly parotta, chilly paneer, keera vadai and all are excellent.

I had an early morning craving for Sambar Vada and this place did not disappoint.

I walked in for the 1st time, grabbed a seat, placed the order for a sambar vada while I flipped through the menu to see more options.

To my delight, they offer Sukku Kaapi, which was a perfect item to start off on the cold winter morning, and I asked Anna to get me one of those as well.

The Sambar Vada came to me in an aluminium bowl with the warm thick sambar empowering the flavours of the crispy and mildly spicy Vada.

This place is definitely a choice for good food. I will definitely go back for more.

If you would like to have best Veg food in town, then Annavilaas is the place. They have wide variety of Veggies and all items taste really superb. Good ambience with great hospitality by the entire team, especially Mr. Saravanan who is very courteous with us and jovial with kids. Must Visit Place for Veg Food Lovers!

A very underrated place with exquisite & homely food. The best sambhar, chutney and dosas. Love their idlis, Bread roll, iddiyyapam & service.

As Discover garden and The gardens area has minimal options (Vasanta bhavan and Saarangaa Bhojan Shalan), Recently I Visited this restaurant; It is very close to my area. The overall food quality test was good, Medu Vada was crispy, and the idli was well-cooked and fresh. The quantity was satisfactory. My kids enjoyed Medu Vada (as usual they eat only the outer coating of vada) and Orange juice. The staff guides us skillfully during selecting the food. After the experience I ordered food again through home delivery after 3-4 days; the food test was the same.

A good Tamil restaurant and the staffs are really attentive …the service is very nice.and the restaurant has a good seating area and family friendly too.same like sangeetha, vasantha or any pure Tamil restaurant style …

Overall I can rate good abt the food and staff service. Coconut milk with idiyappam is my favorite. Suggestion. Is to maintain the same quality and taste all the time.

Annavilaas Restaurant opened a few months back. Visited the place after a long time. Seem to lack activity. Didn't have the authentic taste of a typical south India restaurant.

Lot and many more options for veg lovers, can't imagine, that many varieties are available with reasonable price with excellent environment.have once.

Heaven for vegetarians, quality of food is very fresh and staff is so much humble and assisting specially Saravanan and Jeeva.

Excellent pure vegetarian restaurant in Dubai - Discovery Garden. Food quality is very good and also economical. Service by staff is very nice. Location of restaurant is very easy accessible from Gardens Meto station We were served by Sarvanan and Kartikh - marvelous service. Fantastic.

The best authentic Tamil restaurant in Dubai. The waiters are always with a happy face & always ready assist. For lunch they are always serving three varieties of vegetables which includes a spinach.

Pure vegetarian food, great service, authentic and fresh food with a wide variety of dishes and flavors, a new place but better than the other vegetarian restaurants at Gardens. Friendly staff. Would recommend Jiva who has a friendly yet soft spoken nature and would make a good suggestion while choosing your dishes.

Went to the restaurant last night along with family and friends. Restaurant is located near Anjappar Restaurant in Gardens. Free parking is available behind the building.

Interior and Seating arrangement done nicely. It was not so crowded. Surprised to see the their daily special item displayed in the front. Most of the items name were very unique and interesting, like Spinach Alwa, palgova sarbath, nannari milk sarbath, Kanchipuram Idly, Mushroom Idly, parotta stuffed with gravy. Have added few pictures of them in this review. They do have branches in India and Netherlands.

We ordered bread roll, Gobi Manchurian, Gobi 65, Paneer biriyani, Pongal, Vada, Parotta, parotta stuffed with gravy.

Bread roll tasted well. Gobi 65 and manchurian were so great too. Parotta stuffed with gravy was delicious. Paneer biryani was well cooked. Other items were very nice too. Not so spicy and hot. I didnt find any issues. Finished with a lemon juice and Palgova sarbath. We wanted to try thali and other special items next time.

I should mention about the Service which was so great. They were recommending few items and explaining how they make it. Didn't see this kind of service in any Tamil restaurants in UAE.

Very good and clean hotel.after longtime felt like had home food, have been 3-4 times and tried multiple items all were ver satisfactory. Also very nice staff, especially Jiva and Saravanan - suggested good and fresh items to try out.

Excellent customer experience first of all. Food is cooked with love and very friendly staff. Overall super service and will recommend it to anyone to try any new south Indian dishes. Must try veg lollipop.

Food was not good. Waiting time was more. Expensive than competitors. Quality and quantity not up to mark.

Happy to write review about 'Annavilaas'. We celebrated our son Samrud's 2nd birthday here. The care, love and cooperation of every staff member of the hotel is truly commendable. Each guest was happy with the hotel ambience, service and most importantly, the meal.

Mr. Murugan, Mr. Shiv Sankara, Mr. Saravana, Mr. Jeeva, Chef of the hotel and all other staff were very humble and dedicated. The event was well organized and decoration was nice.

Instead of hunting very far restaurants I just entered into Annavilaas. I was very much pleased with staff gesture, I being non vegetarian very much liked vegetarian menu. I would like to recommend my friends for trying their best menu.

Pure veg restaurants has many varieties of dishes to choose.
Some menu items are not seen in any other restaurants.

Great food and ambiance.

Authentic Tamil vegetarian food with natural ingredients and no artifical colouring. Could feel the tase and freshness in each bite. Must try for all veggie lovers. Varities are amazing in each sections. Still keeping on trying their menu, as each day they have special deserts and vadai.

Recommendations: (From what me and family have had so far)
Main course: - Vazhaillai porotta, Mushroom Chappati
Snacks: - AV sp podi bondai, Beetroot vada, Pepper small onion vada, Onion pakoda, Beetroot Tikka
Desserts: - Chikku kesari, Ashoka payasam, Beetroot payasam.

Keep it up and never let the taste go.
