Asha's Restaurants

After a bit of research, we decided to try Executive Lunch at Asha’s. The legendary name behind this restaurant and corresponding high standards were certainly key deciding factors to go with this place.
We made prior reservation and Priyanka was very helpful in not only booking the place but also getting back to me on a special dietary requirement for one of us.
We were served by Anita when we reached the restaurant and she provided all the options to help us decide on the veg/non-veg meals. We decided to go for veg selection and a special request of no onion garlic for one person. We were served with Papri Chat to begin with which was tasty. In the starters, we had Aloo Tikki, Malai Broccoli and Paneer tikka. All three items were made to the perfection and were tasty. In the main course we had Dal Makahni, Palak paneer and separately, subz keh kesa and dal fry which were equally tasty. We had Gulab jamun and Rasmalai as dessert and both the items were excellent. Gulab Jamun was hot and was served with Raabri that added more to its taste.
Overall, an excellent experience and would like to visit this place again with a larger group.

Good service by Anita and Sejal despite at the beginning I didn’t receive the usual appetizer. The manager came to apologize for the incident which was without much importance.
This is a high quality food restaurant with great illumination and music which changes smoothly every hour or so.
I have to applaud the interior decorators’ talent.
Indeed, traditional food in a modern setting.
One of the finest places to dine at an affordable price in a great location.

From the impeccable service by our incredible waitress Anita (professional, responsive, great advice) to the succulent dishes we tasted (lobster, curry, butter chicken, etc.) … including an exceptional setting (totally redecorated restaurant) … that's what we're waiting for of a 5-star experience in Dubai!

I ordered online chicken beryani, the chicken was so dry and tasteless it was like just boiled chicken with no flavor at all, such a shame for a big restaurant to make such bad food I throw the food it was not eatable at all. طلبت برياني دجاج كان اسوء برياني اكلته كانه دجاج مسلوق بدون نكهة و يابس ما انصح فيه ابدا. Must play Asha Ji’s song more. Had a great time here! The food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and even recommended some items from the menu. Definitely going back! 10/10

It was an unfortunate expierence at Asha's as the food could have been enjoyable but was a major let down due to the lack of innovation by the restaurant. When visiting a fine dining restaurant you would expect a certain standard from the dishes which you would not get in other restaurants.

The starter was decent, the paneer was incredibly soft however the marinade for the paneer was pretty average.

The yakhni Biriyani would have been outstanding had it not been salty in a few places, certain parts of this were fine while other parts were highly salted.

The only positive is that on a personal note: The butter chicken here was practically the best butter chicken I've tasted in dubai. It was the only dish that measured up to the fine dining standard.

Restaurant, food, ambiance was fantastic. Sejal was serving us during our time in the restaurant. She was really hospitable and good. 5 stars to the overall experience.

Brought back memories of when it first opened and I was a kid. Food is still as good as it was 20 years ago.

Service was good, ceramic plates to eat were so old, food was average. Paid a bill around 600 for 4 people.

Good food but even for booking no one calls back. Such attitude will take you places keep it up

Most importantly the service was quick.and the waiter was knowledgeable about the product. I was impressed by the way dish was explained.

Visited Asha's after 15 years and absolutely loved the lavish and delectable experience. We were there for the business lunch which was absolutely delish and mouth watering. The set menu was perfectly curated to suit both vegeterians and non-vegeterians and everything from starters, main course to dessert was immaculately prepared and served. The size of the portions was massive and the presentation of each item was so impeccable. The service was top-notch and the staff was very friendly and looked after us throughout the time we were there. It's great to see how they have maintained great standards and taste even after so many years. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend their business lunch if you are looking for a meal thats filling and absolute value for money. Shout out to Rajan for the amazing service.

One of the oldest fine dine restaurant in Dubai, the service standard is really nice. But the test of the food can be improved.

A great Indian restaurant. I willl be honest that this is the first Indian restaurant I liked the food from. Great place and great hospitality. If you are visiting Dubai then you must try this restaurant.

Had a booking for 8: 45 pm with elderly parents. The restaurant called me at 8: 15 pm and told me that they can accommodate only after 10 pm as they had walk ins!
And the lady on the phone was unapologetic!

Vorab sind wir auf das Restaurant gekommen durch unseren Dubai Reiseführer. In dem Buch ist das Restaurant als bestes Indisches Restaurant der Stadt ausgegeben. Dementsprechend waren unsere Erwartungen recht hoch.
Wir waren gestern dort essen und haben 3 Getränke, 4 Gerichte und eine Portion Reis bestellt. Dafür haben wir knapp 600 Dirham oder rund 150 Euro bezahlt. Allein das war schon mal extrem teuer. Als Start gibt es für jeden Tisch knuspriges indischen Brot mit drei Dipps. Mir haben sie nicht überragend geschmeckt. Die Hauptspeisen waren recht groß muss ich zugeben. Allerdings haben wir die Gerichte mit mittlerer Schärfe bestellt, welche für unseren deutschen Gaumen etwas zu scharf war. Da es aber unsere eigene Schuld war, fließt dies nicht in die Bewertung mit ein. Abgesehen von der Schärfe fand ich die Gerichte geschmacklich nicht besonders gut. Der Service war weder lustig noch charmant noch etwas anderes. Leider sehr unspektakulär für den Preis. Das einzig Positive, was mir noch einfallen würde ist, dass man nach dem Essen warme und gut riechende kleine Handtücher bekommen hat, um die Hände zu reinigen.
Zum Vergleich: In Berlin zahlt man bei einem Inder für deulich besseres Essen und die selbe Menge an Gerichten ca. 60 € also weniger als die Hälfte. Und man kann auch noch so viel Reis nachbestellen wie man möchte. Und das aus noch kostenlos.
Wir werden nicht wieder kommen, das der Preis für das was man bekommt einfach zu hoch ist.

*We payed 600 dirham for 3 drinks and 4 meals which was way to much. The taste was OK but not really delicious. The service was not charming or funny. The decorations in the restaurant was OK. The music was most of the time something like house music. Not very authentic in my opinion. Before we left we got a warm towel to clean our hands. That was the only good thing.
Don't understand me wrong. The restaurant was good but for the price not good enough.
I compare it with our Indian restaurants in Berlin. There you would pay around 60 euro (240 dirham) for the same quantity and way better quality.
We don't come again. Sorry.

Food was amazing & good quantity but it's pricey, glad there was 30% discount on Zomato. (Couldn't take pics of the main course)

Not only was the food and the ambience great but the hospitality of Mr. Manish was also exceptional. Every item we ordered was delectable. This was definitely a flabbergasting experience.

Very Good food. Menu is extensive and definitely a fine dining experience. It can be expensive but worth it considering the atmosphere, friendly staff and the manager. The staff is definately wht will make me coming back again. Highly recommended.thankyou for this awesome experience "ASHA's!

Entertainer offers were not honored as they put some riders not mentioned anywhere online.

Ambience:
The restaurant has been located in one of the most beautiful malls of Dubai. The restaurant itself has a very traditional Indian vibe to it. The red color of interior mixed with few artifacts here and there creates a very interesting atmosphere.

Food was great. The taste was just right, the variation of menu was very good. The presentation of drinks were very well thought out. In general the quality, portion and taste was great.

We had chicken Thali today and it was suggested by Jomon. It was really nice, I really liked the chicken tikka and in Gulab Jamun (dessert)

The ambience was nice. It was bit tough to find the spot from inside the mall. Service was excellent. Panner and Naan was perfect buttery delicious
The mango ginger milkshake was not that good. The taste of ginger was not there.

It’s our go to place while in DXB with the best experience every single time. The staff is courteous and friendly, the food is excellent with quite good portion size and the ambience too is very relaxing.

Good food, great ambience, nice Indianized cocktails. Great place to hangout and celebrate a special occasion! Food is traditional Indian food with all your favorites.
The curries all have their unique taste, depending on the central ingredient and does not seem to be the same curry based rehashed across multiple meats and vegetables. Need some deep pockets to dine but will be a great experience.

It is a really good indian restaurant in Dubai, one of the best in my opinion. Their butter chicken is delicious. I fully recommend you to go to this restaurant if you would like some indian food.

It was just an amazing experience being at this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and the service was immaculate.when I was visiting this place I didnt expect the level of food served was going to be so very authentic! I had requested for spicy food and the chef didn't disappoint us at all contrary to some other indian fine dines in Dubai. A must visit for Indian food lovers.

It's a pretty good place with great ambience more important as the name says you will experience Songs sung by Asha Bhosale which just elevates your experience also food was great just can't say amazing when you compare the price point of the menu it don't do justice but it's nice and amp. Service was good and impeccable overall a great place to be if you are ready to pay those extra bucks for the name

The food options offered at this restaurant are really good as you gry a selection of dishes from different parts of India. The ambiance is only for themed music, images and moments of Asha Bhosle and the use of color and art in the restaurant thr. The food is a bit expensive but worth thr the cost for experience.
