Asia Tang Restaurant

We had Chicken and prawn Dim Sum, Green Curry and beef dry. The food was great and service was also good.

Located in the Spring Soul Mall, Asia Tang offers a convenient option for those seeking Asian cuisine while shopping. My recent visit to this restaurant left me with mixed feelings, as there were both positive and negative aspects to my dining experience. Firstly, the service at Asia Tang was satisfactory. The staff members were attentive and prompt in taking orders and serving the food. They were courteous and willing to assist with any inquiries or special requests. While the service was not exceptional, it was certainly adequate and did not detract from the overall experience. One aspect that stood out positively was the appearance of the food. The dishes looked freshly prepared and visually appealing. The presentation was well-executed, and it was evident that care had been taken in the plating of each dish. This attention to detail added to the overall dining experience. However, the taste of the food fell short of my expectations. While the dishes were decent, they lacked the depth of flavor and authenticity that I had hoped for. The flavors seemed somewhat muted and could have been enhanced with bolder seasoning and more pronounced spices. Although the food was not bad, it did not leave a lasting impression. On the positive side, the portion sizes at Asia Tang were fair. The dishes provided a satisfying amount of food, ensuring that customers would not leave hungry. This is particularly important when dining in a mall setting, where people often need a quick and filling meal.

Food was terrible, chicken was bitty and overcooked. Beef and broccoli was chewy and tasted like roast beef. Texture of the food was the equivalent of virgin megastores barrel O slime. Wouldn’t recommend to my enemy.

I give 3 only because of restaurant atmosphere. Food is very average- prawn ramen has 6 small prawns in it. Relatively smaller position, taste is average, price is too high for this food. Overall, never again, better will drive 10 mins more to wagamama

Well the place is cozy in terms of the interior. But the green curry which we ordered was very average. I found just a piece or two of eggplants which is toooooo little for a pot and they charged separately for rice, which I didn’t like. How can you eat curry by itself? Of course the price of the garnish should be included in the cost of the dish.

The staff are friendly, the food was nice especially the fresh papaya salad. Mark was very helpful.

Been here a few times and the service and food was always very good. They have a nice variety of different Asian cuisine.
My absolute favorite is the coconut dessert.

I ordered prawn for delivery. But what I get was mostly rice and so small prawns that’s almost like just 5 small shrimps in total. I don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to eat only rice:)

Nice place which serves good food. Portions maybe slightly smaller but the dishes we tried were cooked to perfection.

The only good one was the shrimp dim sum.
The dim sum with chicken and basil not good, the crispy honey chicken was terrible, first was not crispy 2nd bad taste as I was eating chicken feet. Terrible. Waste of money

Delightful take on pan-Asian food! The ambience has a very colonial Asian touch to it. The food is delicious and satisfying. The service is quick and friendly.

Really really really awful Food! Wrong description on the me menu! You will receive something different! The rice is plain, bland and has no taste! It is unfortunately rubbish. I do not recommend at all. Worst part is when we asked for Manager he agreed as we don’t understand our tastebuds!

Overpriced for extremely terrible food. Everything was dry with no flavor. Not making this mistake again

Very cosy and good service. Dimsums worth trying, Price range is a little high, for Asian food lovers it's good spot for a change.

Visited twice now. First time was excellent but the second was a bit disappointing. Overcooked Udon Noodles and poached egg. Small things but a proper Japanese chef would never get those things wrong.

Food presentation was amazing, if you’re looking for authentic Asian food, not quite there. More of a Chinese fusion. Be ready to pay a little more too.

The food was not fresh, the taste up to expectation, and the place seemed understaffed. Very pricey for the value order. The two stars is for the quiet in the place and tidiness.

I had food delivered from this place and honestly the quality was lacking. The noodles were overdone and mushy and very sweet. I couldn’t even locate the shrimps in the dish.

A good Asian restaurant with a combination of various cuisine choices. Not the cheapest though, but good size portions. Thought the Mochi desert was well over priced. Didn’t try it.

I don't recommend. I have never eaten such disgusting ramen in my life. I wouldn't even eat it for free. I don't know where these positive opinions came from, but I think they were bought. I only feel bad after trying it. Terrible experience and money down the drain. I strongly advise against this place.

Good food apparently.just tasted.but had to leave because of inconsiderate owner that was sitting on a table interviewing people online without headphones.so instead of a nice relaxing lunch. I was forced to listen to extremely loud bad laptop speakers and back to back interviews.so left my food and decided to leave!

This restaurant is a branch off the Royal Orchid that we have loved so long 15 years +! Ask for the mushrooms.notfried, on spicy sooo good menu but they are delicious, the lemon grass drink is so refreshing, rice crackers, Thai curry, the meat on the bone.issss mouth watering. There fried orange chicken is amazing at the same as in all three restaurants Soy, Royal Orchid. Only disappointed thing is they got rid of the corriander sauce that accompanies the rice crackers. They also do catering from this branch and it has been one of the best catering I have tasted.

It had very good food. I had prawn crackers, volcano prawns and prawn fried rice. The Prawn fried rice was okay but the volcano prawns were amazing!

Finally tried this place recently loved the attentive and friendly staff. Food was amazing here my favorite are curry laksa soup, volcano prawns, Bibimbap beef and desserts are a must try here believe me they have amazing desserts.

Definitely the food won't satisfy Asian taste buds. To be frank the ramen is the worst-taste ramen I ever had in Dubai and they charge 69 dirham for that small portion, crazy huh? Sorry for the bad but honest review.

I order ALL my food cuz I don’t cook at all. It was so disappointing to Pay 20 dollars for a curry without rice that most of the restaurants include it in the price and the portion was so small

Good but not Wow! I had the lamb rending which was delicious but forgot to order veggies to accompany it. It was a lot of meat.

Called for home delivery and this is what they bring me.so sad.
They also called me after 10pm and asked if they can come now to process transaction again as it seems not good from the first attempt.

Newly opened at Springs Souk, Asia Tang is really top class. The decorations and interiors gives it a upmarket Asian restaurant feel. The pricing is quite reasonable and the taste is very good. Their chicken satay was a delight. Even their sushi was good, tried their California roll and volcano prawns. They even have a nice section of dimsum, beautiful flavours. They have done well on their presentations. This is a great place to treat your family and friends who like Asian cuisine.

I love dis place. Its like all far east asian dishes available. From sushi to pad thai. And food is yummy, with good service & ambience.

Wow. Absolutely fabulous. We chose this over Zuma for a weekend lunch. Great decision. Outstanding Asian food. Spectacular service. Great ambiance. Dim Sum and Thai curry was outstanding. This will be my go to place for value for money top notch Asian food.

The place has been beautifully set up and decorated. The food was lovely and beautifully prepared and presented. We had the Kyoto fir drinks and the berry mix which was lovely. Food was pad Thai and beef bibimbap. Our server Annabelle was a perfect combination of helpful and courteous without being overtlty intrusive and has a lovely personality. Loved the whole experience and will visit again! Highly recommend.

Very nice food and very nice service, prices are accepted for the food type provided but I wish the menu had more details of the offered menu items as the menu expects everyone to know all the Asian food plates offered.

Food quality is very good and the staff are very helpful and friendly with kids.

Oh kids menu needs to be upgraded as it doesn't serve food that kids like.

Drinks are nice but I hope they can serve it in a better way that plastic bottles that looks cheap.

Asia Tang opened its doors only quite recently, but its name has become synonymous with tasty, delectable food from the Far East. When they opened, they were serving only lunch and dinner and now they have started serving breakfast too. Breakfast options include Oriental and Continental food and even Continental with an Asian twist.
My favourite ones were the Duck Wonton Soup, Thai Omlette with Kai Pad Krapow and Poached Eggs & Quinoa with Asian Greens and Soya Sesame Vinaigrette.
The broth was well-balanced and super tasty, and the duck tasted delish too, and there wasn’t any after-taste. The Thai Omlette was different from the other omlettes that I’ve tasted so far, and it was delicious. The Poached Eggs & Quinoa with Asian Greens and Soya Sesame Vinaigrette was mind-blowing. Eggs were poached perfectly and the quinoa with the greens and the dressing made a terrific combination.
There are a lot of egg-based dishes here and one can choose from Eggs Benedict with Classic Hollandaise or Thai-style Hollandaise or Eggs Royale with Classic or Thai-style Hollandaise. These are served with Veal Bacon or Smoked Salmon. They were delish and the bacon was crispy and yumm.
Another dish I liked was the Steamed Chili Crab Buns. These are typical Far Eastern food and resemble dumplings but are bigger and thicker.
For the sweet-toothed people out there, they have Waffles with Whipped Cream & Fresh Berries. Though the waffle had a nice taste, it was a little too hard to chew.

Their interiors are well lit. They've got a live kitchen, seating options facing the mall and the exteriors. Love the marble table tops, perfect for your pictures!

We started off with their rice and prawn crackers that came with 3 sauces - Sweet and chilli, black bean and roasted chilli & chillies with vinegar. I enjoyed it with the sweet and chilli sauce the most! I couldn't stop munching on these and definitely wanted some more.

Drinks
Pat Pong: A good blend of berries and lemon. If you love berry flavored drinks, do order this! I loved it.

Starters
Lotus Stem: I honestly still don't know what exactly this dish is, either ways it tasted amazing! It has a delicious coating of plum sauce, giving it a sweet taste.
Salmon Carpacio: This was the first time that I had tried salmon and I enjoyed it! The lemon dressing added to the flavor.
Crispy Honey Chili Chicken: These were some crispy fried chicken, coated in honey. I usually don't like sweet food, but this was delicious!
Prawn Dumplings: I'm not a Dumpling person as I don't enjoy slimy foods, so this was average to me.
Wagyu Sliders: Delicious sliders served with cabbage slaw.

Mains
Spaghetti prawns in Thai green curry: It had some true Thai flavors going on. If you love Thai cuisine, you'll enjoy this!
12 hours cooked short ribs: The meat so tender and cooked to perfection.
Fried rice: The ultimate comfort food for me.

Desserts
Mochi: If it's your first time, let me explain this dessert to you. It has a gooey outer layer which can be made in different flavors. It is then stuffed with vanilla ice cream. We got mango, coconut, strawberry and matcha. I loved the coconut but was disappointed with the matcha.
Strawberry cheesecake kakigori: Strawberry ice cream and cheesecake, under a strawberry ice dome. Loved how unique this dessert is!
