This place did not disappoint at all. Genuinely a full 5 star!

Customer service was amazing, our server was so nice and I loved talking with him. And a big shoutout to the chefs which done such a good job with the amazing food they made.

The food was in big portions, soo much takeaway, which is gonna feed us for days!

The atmosphere was so nice, it felt so cozy. And somehow the place felt casual and formal at the same time, a strange mix indeed.

It also had that Chinese + Arabic vibe to it.

Would come again and again, and recommend to anyone I see on the street!

Ended at the Al Salam restaurant by fluke,
We were in international city looking for some Indian food at 12 last night, didn’t find any Indian restaurant and stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant, the friends were skeptical as we had always had Indian Chinese and never Authentic Chinese food. The Chinese restaurant served Uyghur style food from the north west part of China.
The waiter spoke Hindi and helped us choose the dishes.
We greeted with some lemon and mint tea (complementary)
We ordered starters, soup, 2 kinds of Noodles, some beef buns.
Can’t pronounce any of the names thought.
To our surprise we actually enjoyed the food,
The noodles (tube noodles) were much better than the Indian Chinese noodles that we get.
They served an amazing chilly paste (to die for)
The restaurant also sells the chilly paste.

One of the best Chinese food that we had in a long time.
Must try.

Food is good, portions are good and prices are fare.

This is the only place where I go to eat the amazing Uyghur Cuisine. I love this place. Their staff is polite and their food is too good. Like their Kao Bao Zi (Oven Baked Minced Meat Buns), Te Se Gan Bian Chao Mian (Hand Made Spicy Dried Noodles with meat and veggies), Kao Yang Pai (Grilled Meat Cubes), Te Se Su Cai (Stir Fried Veggies with Walnuts), Gan Gou Zhua Fan (Meat and Carrot Pulao), Bo Pi Bao Zi (Steamed Buns with Minced Meat) and Hu Pi La Zi (Stir Fry Egg plant).

One star for lagman, another one for staff. These two deserve compliment.
Other food wasn’t good at all. Samsa was served cold, not fresh. Plov was also cold and dry (can’t name it plov, it is more of dry rice with sprinkles of carrot). Bread was hard and with no salt, the dough didn’t rise well I believe. Fried pie with meat was total disappointment- the meat is only in its name. It was stuffed with full of crunchy onion that didn’t blend well with a sprinkle of meat in it.
Hygiene is other concern. Plates on the table were not clean with stains on them, not washed properly. They brought a sauce in a bottle with dirt around the bottle neck.
The only bright side of this restaurant is really amazing and welcoming and smiling staff.
I used to have Uyghur food prepared by Uyghur people and you can’t compare it with anything. This restaurant couldn’t introduce the true flavor of Uyghur cuisine.

Quite possibly the best noodles you can buy in the UAE. Hand made to order and perfectly cooked. Outstanding Uyghyr cuisine in the middle of China Town Dubai. I loved all the food except the grilled carp which I found full of bones and cumin which doesn't go well with delicate flavors like fish. Everything else was simply outstanding.
Nafeesa our server is an amazing server and we would go back for her and the food equally.

As Salaam Restaurant has delicious food, not only usual "guyru lagman", but also other foods, where I eat mostly.

It's absolutely a nice restaurant, food is authentic Uyghur style, service is decent, worth a try.

Very bad service, over the phone they don't take my order give website, over the site they bring instead of lagman, kebab, salat, bred all 7 portions of mashroom for 200 AED only mushrooms, who will eat all this? TheRussianspeavking lady very bad and rood, they don't care about clients.
Never recommend this restaurant to anyone. First time in Dubai I would like to recommend Uyghur food to my Friends, now very bad impression.

Awesome restaurant, my wife is uyghur so i know the dishes. Really enjoyed the taste and rates are very good as well

Food is ok.but one time i told them i need to go out meet my friend for 10mins, asked them to keep the food for me.then i paid and go out.after i came back all food is gone.and that food is almost not touched

Good restaurant with variety of tasty items. I would highly recommend this place to any foodies!

Al Salam is an authentic Chinese restaurant offering the cuisine of the Uyghur ethnic group in Xinjiang.
The menu is rich but I highly recommend the hand pulled noodles as well as the grills. I tried the lamb cubes and the kidney and I liked them both.
The herbal teas are also amazing with the meals. I tried the Tashkent tea which contains lemons, mint and honey, and it was amazing.
Service is brilliant, atmosphere is great, prices are very reasonable, and parking lots are available around the building. Nothing is not to like here, Al Salam definitely made to to the list of my favorite restaurants in Dubai.

My family and I absolutely LOVED everything about this place. The moment we walked in we were greeted very warmly. I had a chat with a lady over call before arriving and she made me seems like she was eager to see and feed us. The space was squeaky clean. The food arrived quickly and was super delicious. Also, I love that they prepare all their noodles in house from scratch. Definitely my favorite place for Uyghur food now. Well done!

Totally very bad experience here,
The tea cup wasn’t washed and still have the red lipstick on it.and the waiters told me that they brought the wrong cup and even didn’t felt a bit apology from them, i just feel so regret why i went to there.never will go again….

You can say this is the most clean Chinese restaurant in International City Area, from set up to menu and the presentation of food.

The most recommended dishes are all their noodles. This is not the typical noodles, but rather Lamen/ Ragmen (hand pulled noodle). All of them are nice. Fried noodles or noodle soup. The one on photo is Da Pan Ji which is noodles topped with chicken and potato, mild spicy.

Cucumber salad is super refreshing, kabeb is tasty too.

Very nice people. Friendly and accommodating. Good food. Worth every penny. Visit and look for Margie - she's the best
