Today after doctor visit half fainting and in pain I entered aster pharmacy next door to buy prescriptions. There was a guy who was trying to sell me probiotics for 250 aed which were not prescribed. The moment I stepped into pharmacy he immediately offered me a sit and said “I saw your prescription you need to take vit C” and before I even realized I was drinking warm water with vit C (which was not prescribed and only made my stomach pain more acute considering I haven’t eaten since the day before and vomiting at night and excruciating pain). Then he asked the cashier to open my tablets and asked me to drink one of my prescription medicine (which is suppose to be taken right before food and I was not planning to eat the next 2 hours). Then he started pushing me to buy the probiotic but it’s too expensive and I declined. This guy was not supposed to use my dizzy mind to manipulate me to buy his probiotics and making me consume vit c I was not supposed to take and then making me take my medicine in the wrong time. He is not a doctor, he can’t do this to your clients. I love aster but this behavior is unacceptable. Fire this guy. I did 30 mins IV to sooth the pain and this guy brought it back.
I want to raise a complaint on the service I received today. I went inside the Pharmacy 7pm dropped my prescription and one hour later my prescription was second to the last. I noticed customers that came after me already left. I believe my prescription was intentionally left out by the staffs and was not even received an apology because of it. I have been loyal with Aster Clinic and Pharmacy for more than a year however this experience was uncalled for.
They have huge queue for patients waiting to get the medicines under insurance, yet its managed well.
The staff gives option if you are not comfortable standing for long, drop you prescription and insurance copy they will check for the pre approval and call you back, after confirming if its suitable they give you option of in store pick up or home delivery which is really helpful.
This is the most fantastic services I ever had in aster pharmacy. The kabayan her name is ABIGAIL is very accommodating and having good services. Aster Management you must keep this staff and be promoted and for sure all the customer like me will keep and coming to your pharmacy. Your the best Abigail. More power and God bless.
I'm not impressed. The pharmacist send us away with no help at all.
I'd like to have a serious discussion with the customer service representative as well as thr person in charge of updating the stock on the Aster Clinic system.
We were sent via Aster JLT, as they didn't have any stock to Aster Al Barsha as they have stock on the system. When we arrived at Aster Al Barsha they said their stock isn't updated. But instead of just sending us away empty handed how about some help assistance, advise? Solution?
Not having stock is one thing, not updating it, not having a system in tact that assists pharmacists and not helping a client or patient and just saying you can't help is unacceptable.
Very poor service How many times should we call aster to pick up my call? From 7.20 at pharmacy dr said my be approval for insurance need more time. This time is 2hr? Finally, when they pick up my call i asked doctor i'm tired and need the medicine he repeat same talking every time for 4 or 5 time without giving me chance to talk. He just want to approve that's he is right. And when i tell him please no need more talking i'm really tired he said we are all tried sir ️ how this can be language in aster? This how customer service dealing with customers.really very bad experience first time on pharmacy and second time with aster.
I would like to share my amazing and satisfied experience in this pharmacy. One of the Philippine staff her name is Ms. Abigail deserves to be promoted because of her dedication, passion and patience. I went there last night to purchase medicine under my insurance company. It was been rejected 6x but she never stopped until it's get's approve. I've been waiting almost 1hr but it's really worth it because of her dedication and willing to help and makes us satisfied until we finished the transaction. I salute to Ms. ABIGAIL for your dedication gives me 100% satisfaction.
I had close contact with a covid-19 patient so i ran to the clinic for the test and doctor gave me some medicines specifically for my cough and breathing issue. I went to the pharmacy and gave them prescription. After waiting for 20 mins, i was thinking they've given me all the prescribed medicines. But unfortunately they've skipped the main medicine for cough. Now is my almost 5th day of this infection and my condition is getting worse. I am having shortness of breath and i am coughing like hell. Everyone of us know that covid19 is life threatening. If something happens to me it will be on aster pharmacy 134. Because it is their negligence that they have not provided me the required medicines.
