The worst rent a car which have seen in my life. They will charge for each and everything and we ask them for reason then they will say everything has mention in Terms & condition which they didnt mention properly.

Customer service also very bad, which they dont provide on time. We have to wait for long to return the car.

Its waste of time and money. People can easily find other rental company in dubai. Better dont chose this company.

NEVER Rent from Bab Al Madeena, it's a mechanic store renting old vehicles.

I was in Dubai in Feb. 2022 and found them online, the salespeople were very good at convincing me, the car I was given was a 2015 Kia Picanto with more than 150000.00 Miles which was fine until I drove it from Dubai to Abu Dhabi this is when the engine started to shut off completely on the freeway where the speed is about 160 km/hour.

Thankfully I didn't get into an accident, I called them and they advised me to visit their store, a young kid looked into it and said it was the fuel pump! He went to another similar car uninstalled the old pump and reinstalled it on the one I have, (using a hammer and screwdriver), then said I should be ok, the same problem happened again this is when I threatened them to call the Dubai police so they replaced the Kia with a Mitsubishi Mirage little better than the Kia.

At the end of the rental period, I asked to refund my $400 deposit and this is another nightmare they started to say we have to see if you have tickets and wait for 21 business days, which was OK then after 37 days they asked for my bank account, I said please refund to the same credit card and they refused.

I have a one-speed ticket of $100 but they refunded me $245 without justifying the difference, only said the difference is admin fees.

In general, they are all rude mechanics and don't know anything about customer service

Each time I contact them to ask a question, they say please remind us in a few days.

Here is an update of my review that I posted on August 9. After 3 months of waiting, I finally received my deposit. However they deducted almost half of the amount. First, the 200 AED car wash cleaning as they advised that I did not provide a car wash receipt. When I returned the car, it is clean from inside and out. Even the person who received the car confirmed that it is clean. My mistake is I trusted his words and now I am paying the price of 200 AED for car wash fee for a Chevrolet Spark car. Also, they haven't explained the extra mileage charge that they deducted to my deposit. Please avoid this company! They are giving a low rental rate to attract customer but they will rob you with extra charges. The customer service is very very very poor. I hope that our review will be read by future clients so that they can be warned and will have enough information to make a right decision.

موظف التسليم يرسل الاوراق الى المكتب بدون توقيع العميل و يدعي العميل رفض التوقيع و طبعا كذب.
لو كنت انتبهت للتقيم السيء جدا ماكنت اساسا استأجرت من عندكم.

I know this is a long review but it will give you an idea about this awful company. One Star Is Way Too Much! I have honestly never seen such bad service in UAE and I have been here for over 15 years. I made the mistake to rent because this was the best price I found, but I deeply regretted it after. Because of the Expo car rental prices have grown substantially but that is a fluctuating situation as often things are here. Car rental companies haven’t really grasped that and some are using this as an excuse to treat customers bad or turn them away. This is definitely the case with MOOSA RENT A CAR or BAB AL MADEENA CAR RENTAL. Their very dodgy offices (I saw 2) look like downtown Beirut, where 5 or 6 people are cramped up in tiny closet spaces, no one wares masks and a flux of at least 20 people are entering and exiting this “closet” at any given time, unaware new customers are waiting in corners and existing ones are constantly screaming furiously because of extra charges and what is happening to them after dealing with this company.
I dealt with them through watsapp only at first, and after being promised a delivery in 2 hrs I ended up waiting 6 and no one answered the phone when I tried calling. In the end I ended up receiving a car that looked like someone was sick in. I uploaded some photos, and when I said I don’t want it, I was promised an exchange the next day. Of course that did not happen so I drove somewhere close to Al Ain as instructed via watsapp where I was told they don’t have anything and "this car is very good, a customer just saw it and he wants it”
Obviously he only saw the car on the outside I replied. After an hour debate I managed to get something moderately better but still dirty inside.
I had an emergency so had to return the car 10 days before the term. I was told I will not get a refund and 2 months later, I am still waiting for half of my deposit back. Don’t make the same mistake I made.just pay a little extra somewhere else and save yourself a big headache.

I’m suggesting all the people to not to take car from them cause they’ll give discounted price then they asked for 1000 AED deposits but at the time of return they never returned money

Despite being in the UAE, this company is a BIG FRAUD. I can’t write enough about what happened. But anyone looking out to rent a car, please DO NOT RENT FROM this company. Highly unprofessional and extremely rude. Extremely bad experience!

The biggest comedy is, a person seems to be the owner of this company views and replies to each and every negative reviews. This much negative reviews is not an eye opener for you? Or are you a paid employee sitting to just reply reviews.

Ras al Khor branch. The worst rent a car I ever tried. They delivered a stinky car with cigarette holes on the seat. They didn't responding for 3 days when I tried to handover the car. No wondering that I found police there when I gave back the car (called by a costumers). The cherry on the cake. Without any reason they decided to keep half of the deposit. Stay aware from them!

I called the police. Who also confirmed that this company has so many frauds before. Many customers have filed police complaints. But so strange that its still in business.

Not Recommended. Unprofessional staff. I have taken Mitsubishi Mirage recently, Car was stopped/breakdown on the road at the signal. I was trying to call Bab Al Madeena team no one was responding to the calls.

Absolutely the worst car rental company in Dubai. Please do not rent from them and if you have in the past and had a stressful experience report them to the police! I am going to open a case today as they are not answering the phone, ignoring my messages and emails and not returning my deposit - it has been almost one and a half months.
I bet they are used to doing this to poor tourists and never actually return their money.

I have had the worst experience with these guys. They do not disclose any of their clauses and end up deducting your deposit for some random reason. In my cases, they returned my deposit only after days of coaxing and that too not the full amount. Nobody had the courtesy to inform why my deposit was deducted until I stormed in their office.
Very very bad service and ofcourse the cars they offer are not in great condition too and no no immediate assistance was provided.
My advice stay away from these guys!

After so many follow up they returned deposit amount and deducted 200/- saying Saturday is half day working and car has been returned after 1 pm.
No one pick call after taking money.

I took a report from the police, and they gave me 500 AEd fine for this, and above this, after I went to return it again, they still wanted me to pay AED 2000.4-.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THESE KIND OF PEOPLE STILL EXIST.

I strongly recommend they are more honest party. They are slow in responding your message and calls but trust me I did a small accident with their car and fortunately I got green paper they did not deduct single dhs and refunded my whole deposit.

Just follow the procedure and policy if you leave the car after 7 pm they will charge you late payment fees. Try to leave early to avoid those things.

First they trap people with cheap rate then they switch to regular rate when the client wants to extend, most of people got trapped because they don’t want to pay another deposit somewhere else.

-Traffic Fines admin fees: 60 AED / fine plus VAT
-Traffic Fines with no discount even if the state government is applying it.
-30 AED Admin fee for processing the Deposit return after 21 working days.
-250 AED fee if you return the car dusty
-horrible customer service very confusing
-The what’s app philipina girl picture is not real.

This place is a scam. Please do not use them. They openly tried to charge me 2,500 aed over a 2mm scratch and wanted a police report for the damage saying the scratch could have been involved in a fatal car accident. I thought they were joking but no. Cheap prices to lure you in then cheat you. I was not the only customer there also being taken advantage of. Not sure how a business like this exists still.

Worst rent a car in terms of follow up post giving you the car! Will make sure they wont confirm the amount of money to be given back and also will make a hundred excuses to not get back or to collect the car. And deposit they will not refund it properly not matter how many times you call them or go to their office. The cost of taking it at hertz with better service will equate to hiring from these people.

I rented the Car Plate # S 85529 from 23rd Nov 2020 till 29th Nov 2020 (6 Days).

Following is the payment schedule:

23rd Nov
1. AED 37 - Delivery Charges
2. AED 900 - Deposit
3. AED 147 - Rent (Offer)

25th Nov
1. AED 180 - Rent (Bank Transfer)

Returned the car after washing on 29th Nov.

I am supposed to get back refund amount of AED 900, however I only got AED 615 - now no one is responding

Bab Al madeena Rent a Car LLC will never inform u but on the back of agreement they have a return policy on 1 PM. Then they charge u 200 AED This is the worst rent a car in Dubai. Never take car from them. They block ur deposit, don't pay u for months and deduct absurd charges. Non of the customers are satisfied.
From my view they should be closed immediately and they deserve 0 star.
#Dubaipolice should take action on this company and owners.

Good cars and good prices, but amateur team and not very friendly like all low cost companies. Very poor customer management. I had to wait literally two hours in their office that is not designed appropriately to exchange a car, then they gave me a very dirty Corolla, with food and coffee on the carpets and old forgotten clothes. They did not really care, so I refused the car and I had to wait one more hour to have a clean one. And the worst, is that they make you pay 700 AED of the car is not clean, and they don't mind giving dirty cars to the customers. I finish my ongoing contract and I will change company for the rest of my stay

Very bad how they can cheet people and get way with it! The coverment should close this rental company.after i try to deliver the car to them when they check there was a tiny miner mark not even scratch wish was easily can be removed in car wash station! But they refused and insets on i get a police report, wish i had to do and pay 120dh and after that they insets that i pay 2000 dh for excess charges insurance! That was not fair and you feel cheated, i so a lot of customers having a lots of problems with them SO STAY AWAY, god is big

Please do not waste your time with this pathetic car rental service. They are only nice to you, once you have the signed papers. 1. A dirty car is given to you. 2. No one explains the contract or at-least goes through the most important facts. 3. We delivered the car on time (we only used the car for two days) however we had to go back and have the car wash at ENOC and produce a proof of payment, or else we were liable to pay a 700 aed fine- how ridiculous, the car was not even clean when delivered to us.then you will have to wait over a whole month for your deposit back.yet again no one asked us for a deposit receipt when delivering the car. When I called to find out when will i receive my deposit, the woman said we have to come in to produce the receipt, else we will be charge 250aed a day! For MY money! The reason we hired a car, its cos we do not have one! How are we expected to into office, its 2018 why can i not just fax or mail my pop.and what if we are outside the country?

Service is really bad.

Firstly they don’t deliver the car as committed.
The car when arrives is full of small hair and stains.
Even then they let you sign car is cleaned means staff cheat their owners and we pay for the same.

When asked that the car is not clean while they handover they put paper mats and say see we got them dry cleaned BuT it’s actaully hair dog all over.

Second of all, the person who comes to deliver the car says that he needs to be dropped off first even after paying them delivery charges.

Third, they hold on to your advance for a month in my case aed 1500/- even after you return the car which I will be taking up soon with the authorities. Whereas Salik and RTA fines come at the same time online and even they message you the same.

Four— they say make sure you get the car dry cleaned and insist on receipt of the same which has to be the most expensive service or they say they will keep the advance amount.

Don’t ask they treat you as beggars sitting and waiting without any proper system.

Highly recommend, best car rental i ever have in Dubai, terms & conditions are easy and understandable, i took the car for 14 days, rent is reasonable, staff is very friendly, there was a mechanical issue in my car and they replace it with another car on the same day, very happy with the service and I recommend to my friends & family as well. Staff is entirely group of clowns. Especially the fat manager with whom i had to deal with the help of Dubai Police.

They do everything possible to not return ur deposit.i rented car in previous accounting year and the stupid accountant is charging me VAT on refundable as he is uneducated and does not even know that in the cases of refund vat is paid back to the customer and not collected to which that illiterate later agreed

I cleaned the rented car in service station right next to it prior to returning and still he wanted to charge me 200 saying dirty car which he wrote on top of my signature after i left and before i could come back to collect the refund.he tried charging me 250 further for not bringing piece of deposit paper and yet he is agreeing to refund which is funny and charged me for 2 extra days for being 3 hours late due to car washing to which the stupid accountant suggested me after arriving there to return them car and yet he wanted to charge me 200 after few months as he is going through memory loss illness.

I had to call Dubai Police to deal with these people and Police provided me the excellent support and help and eventually came across that i was not the first customer to contact police for these people.renewal price eventually increases and u get the feel that u r renting yaris for the price of Ferrari.

This company is suck the most bad company of rent cars i saw in my entire
life so i had a accident on the road i call them they told me there is no recovery car so i got to get own my own second their office located on 5 floor where we came and was waiting for an hour for person to assist us then when they checked car and ask me to leave it on the parking where it was with the engine on as he will come back and will change the tire so when i came back from office i found out that car key was damaged and has missing buttons which also a penalty 1500 dirhams.

I'm sure their colleague made specially for us to pay because they can't just get miss from the close keys which was ok before i give them to their colleague. In the office they ask me to pay a 2500 Dirham as they not covering insurance and if any damage happend you must to pay this ammount and they ask me to pay immediately I've explain them that I'm not carrying this much amount with me so ill pay tomorrow still they told me i have to pay now so i told them ill pay tomorrow as i was wounded from a accident so later when rich home i call them so many times and tried to contact their office to complain about keys they told me to contact another number for complains no one was picking the up phone so i call them back to office they told me that i have to wait.in the end they told me that the customer service representative will call me back which of course never happened.

- تأمين كاش ١٥٠٠ ترجع بعد شهر او اذا حبيت تدفع بالكرت يصير التأمين ١٠٠٠ لكن يخصمون عليك ٣٠ درهم رسوم الكرت.
