A beautiful, high-end resort in the middle of the desert, a traditional look and feel to the modern Dubai lifestyle.

This venue is the greatest I have ever seen, I’m a plain picky eater and plenty of choices for all people! My waiter Yassar was fabulous, as was all of the staff! Highlight of my Dubia trip! Richard Sewell USA! Ps the homemade bread was incredible!

Would have never found this place if friends didn't know about it. In the middle of nowhere. Great food and service. Nice sunset view.

The Anwa restaurant is really amazing place the all staffs greeting us so nice. The waiter, the manager, especially shisha man Tantawy have recommended the signature flavors with the watermelon and mint. Which we really like it!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. It is a 40-minute drive from the city. You can enjoy different scenery along the way. From the entrance to the reception hall, the hotel has a unique design, from the music, fragrance and exquisite furniture. It can be seen that the designer’s intention is to travel from the building with a strong Middle Eastern style to the room, and there is a beautiful scenery along the way.

Wonderful restaurant, amazing dinner show. Although there are not many tourists, they are not careless at all. The most important thing is that all the service staff are professional, kind and trustworthy. The desert tour guide, everything is so perfect.

This hotel is a real dream. After about 1 hour's drive from Dubai you reach the hotel. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and is located at the gates of the desert. The service is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. The buffet food (dinner) is of a very high standard and offers many different delicacies. We can recommend this house and will definitely come back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bab Al Shams and dining at their Arabic restaurant. The culinary experience was truly exceptional, offering a taste of Middle Eastern cuisine that was both authentic and delicious. Notably, their gluten-free options were outstanding.

The dishes were superb in flavor and presentation, providing an authentic Middle Eastern experience. The restaurant manager, whose last name begins with "F, " contributed greatly to the memorable dining experience with his warm hospitality and extensive knowledge of the cuisine.

Furthermore, the availability and quality of gluten-free options pleasantly surprised me, catering to dietary needs without compromising on taste.

The restaurant's traditional decor and immersive atmosphere enhanced the overall experience.

In summary, our visit to the Arabic restaurant at Bab Al Shams was memorable, thanks to the exceptional food, the outstanding service of the manager whose last name starts with "F, " and their remarkable gluten-free options. I highly recommend Bab Al Shams for top-tier hotel experiences, authentic Arabic dining, and dietary accommodation.

We visited last week Al Hadheerah restaurant at Babs Al Shams desert resort. We arrived too early for dinner but there was a young security man, Mr Arfat, who was excellent!
He suggested that we should first visit the lobby lounge at hotel.he ordered a club car for us, we visit the pool area. The pool area was awesome. He also took very nice photos of us at the entrance.
The food, buffet, at Al Hadheerah was fantastic. Also camel show belly dance we enjoy to much
We came just to eat, but next time we must stay at BaS.

Bab shams is a great location with beautiful Dubai Sahara desert view. The service staff was very welcoming, friendly and very attentive!

We had an amazing desert safari experience with our guide Ismail. He was very friendly and knowledgebale and told us about all places we drove by in the desert. He was also kind in taking amazing photos for us.

Beautiful hotel.

We came for the pool day pass and it was very lovely. The service is great. They have loads of activities next to the pool. Drinks are good. The pool side food is okay but the food at the restaurant was good. Overall, definitely worth the trip for a daycation.

Most unprofessional restaurants reservations ever. I have called to make a booking the person did not show any interest on my reservation. I was waiting for the payment link and reservation confirmation but nothing happened. I called again to check it happened that she wrote my email wrongly. I mentioned that it is my husband birthday and I want a nice table in the middle. I reach the place they gave me an horrible table completely at the back of the iftar restaurant. So disappointed I do not recommend.

Very bad experience- Unfortunately my Dior sunglasses got “coincidentally missing” in the hotel. But the most disappointing was how they handled everything, I remember I left my sunglasses on the table in front of the hotel before we left, I was busy with getting our bags as we were picked up, I got in the car and forgot about the sunglasses, When I returned home (45 minutes later) I immediately called the hotel, No one was helpful, I had to call them twice and even emailed them before they finally came back, They told me they think (you have literally camera’s everywhere? !) that some other guests took the sunglasses and that was it, They didn’t say anything else, Well it happend on your door step! It were sunglasses of almost €500 and we had to call the hotel several times, No one followed up. Also the stay itself was horrible, But how they handled this situation was the worst, Incompetent staff, Beautiful place but don’t spend your money over there if you want your belongings to go missing, And this in Dubai, The safest place ever, How is this even possible? (they also lost out bags during our stay, We had to explain them how our bags looked like)

Its very special and unique experience in the middle of dessert. The environment is very relaxing and great but we didn't have a chance to try the resturant because they open at 7 and we didn't have time to stay and and have dinner.

Al Iftar in al hazeerah was amazing, the food, the ambiance, and the waiters are very lovely kind and heloer specially Anto He fulfills the request quickly and happily.thank you for everything

Hotel is beautiful the decor, architecture & energy is just amazing. Breakfast bar is high quality with lots of options. The Iftar buffet food was very delicious so delicious that it gets very very crowded. Would recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We even did archery with the expert Jamal he was very helpful & fun. My only constructive criticism would be the pool lining needs maintenance. The floor is peeling & it gives an unpleasant texture. Besides that gorgeous hotel would recommend.

Incredible buffet, one of the best I’ve ever seen in my life. Great vibes and atmosphere, kids corner for all the children’s favourite foods. Pony rides/camel/horses for adults & children. It’s a really special place to go with your family, we absolutely loved it

I'm loving their Iftars this year. So many choices to choose from and since it is outdoors you feel safe. The shisha is a plus! I highly recommend - oh and you can use entertainer as well which makes it very affordable!

Beautiful hotel in the desert and not very far from Dubai. About an hour from Dubai Marina. Bab Al Shams felt like an old hotel with spirit and personality which is rare to find in Dubai. The rooms are superb. I got one with a terrace which came in handy to to get drinks when not in the pool. I wish I had the terrace closer to the pool though. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the service was a bit slow, the food for dinner could have been better, and they needed more sun beds for the guests. However, the staff listened to our feedback attentively and tried their best to enhance the experience which is greatly appreciated. Ultimately I’d love to come back as overall I had a great time and it truly felt like a staycation. I suggest paying Bab Al Shams a visit.

Great place to relax and see another area of Dubai. The a hotel is baby / children friendly with a nice closed in AC play area with great toys for all ages. You can leave your child for a little while if you stay near the pool area. They have camels that you can take photos with and a nice area to walk out for sunrise and sunset. The rooms are very nice and have a very nice look and luxury style. Ask for a room with a view of the sand dune area. The dunes are not big yet the rooms with a view are better then the other rooms. The food is very good and reasonable priced considering the quality. They have a large selection of wine by the glass a nice plus. Very easy to get to if you rent a car. All in All a 5 star hotel!

Very nice ambience and some excellent food. Tried some steaks there and loved them. I only used the restaurants though, never stayed in one of the rooms.

Brunch and location was great. However, they should fix their Zomato Gold offer because it is confusing and frustrating.

A great location. Where else can you go if not at the edge of the desert! Beautiful resort, amazing architecture. The rooms and courtyards exquisitely decorated. Delicious food at Masala restaurant on site. Go for the sunset, a bit cliched but rather special across the desert. Needed to spend a few days there. One day is not enough. Would have loved to swim in the pool there. A definite recommendation and not to be missed! Great hospitality by staff on site.

New Year’s Eve this time was most memorable at Bab Al Shams, away from city traffic and routine parties this was special and different. Enjoyed the whole evening with decent music and entertainment programmes and the wide variety of global cuisine was the highlight of the evening.

Alfursan Saturday brunch, the seating is cute however there are probably 3 items in the entire buffet that are worth consuming. The grilled shrimps, the beef Kebob and sweet potato fries. The salad bar and desert bar are. Friendly staff. Kids enjoyed the camel and pony rides.

Fantastic place and one of the best Brunch. A lot of variety and high quality with an excellent service.
