Barry is such a genius and his knowledge is excellent!
I approached him to fix the pickup of my telecaster as the bridge is not working and what he did is amazing. He replaced it with a fender pickup and he even set up a treble bleed on it.
He is not only a good guitar tech but he is a superb sound engineer
My guitar now sounds absolutely fabulous.

Barry removed inlays I never wanted from a custom shop guitar I have. He did it soo well that there was no trace of scratch’s / marks / dings on the fretboard or the neck itself.

My harp had an issue with jack output which no one could fix. I was suffering for long time, but couldn’t find anyone to help.

One professional technician from the States came to Dubai for the usual check up for harps. Usually they coming once in a few years, so I asked her to fix an issue, and turned out that she made it worse. My harp was broken.

We spent hell of time trying to fix it, even contacted the factory itself - and response was only one - I have to replace in entire mechanics, so I have to send harp to the factory.

Thanks God, I found this amazing person. Barry fix my harp within 10 minutes! Just Imagine, When even harp factory waved their hands up like “there is nothing we can do”

If you need anything involving making a guitar or amp sing the way it should, Barry is the man. His electronic diagnosing skills and knowledge are amazing. He also loves to share that knowledge with you and takes the time to show you what needs fixing and recommends improvements. For the price, you are getting what I would consider the best in Dubai. My JCM800 self build could not have been completed without his help and it sounds amazing.

This guy is the absolute best guitar tech and sound engineer I’ve ever met in my life. Period. This guy is a sound engineer before he is an instrument technician. He knows how to setup instruments like it’s no one’s business! Also he modifies amplifiers, pedals and whatever instrument gear you have. He setup about 6 of my guitars including fixing some issues and also built me a hand made amplifier! Oh! And his prices are out of this world! Because he does this as a passion first before business. I have (what used to be!) a 2x10 Markbass cabinet with driver and coil problems which caused a broken sound reproduction of course. Quickly identified by Barry - replaced drivers and the cabinet refreshed/cleaned as well; after years of pub gigs it looked like a scruffy street dog! Super tight and punchy new drivers - everything explained clearly by Barry, all done in two days and a very reasonable price
