Location is super! Just to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Burj Khalifa,
the menu is pretty good, you can find such different options to eat/drink- special thanks to Doris, she was very kind and helpful.and please try the ginger tea!

One of the finest Dates of middle east available in bateel boutiques all over UAE. Should try the premium filled Dates, chocolate dip and Ajwa Dates. They also offer various products like Dates honey, olive oil, sparkling date wine and for gifting they have a very cozy and luxurious gift boxes in which we can customise the Dates content.

Good products, but rude staff name Joyce.

Usually when i buy dates from there, staffs are friendly or at least do their job right. She was dropping dates to the box, from 15cm height, thus bouncing and hitting the dividers inside. First, i thought she was doing it because the dates were sticky, but kept on doing it (i think it’s because she only had glove in one hand, and was hard to control). I asked her “would you please don’t drop the dates? ” And she replied “then how should i put it” in a mocking tone. I told her “you can place it directly inside the box, so the dates don’t bounce around” and she started doing as i asked, but no apology, only giving attitude as if i was asking something that i wasn’t supposed to.

Then at the end, while she was grabbing three dates with one hand, she dropped one in a counter, i saw her grabbing the dropped one with the same hand that other two dates are in, so i said “would you please don’t put the dropped one in the box”, then she rolled her eyes and said “i wasn’t going to”

If she wasn’t going to, i wonder why she picked up with same hand that has two date already in it.

The look of the product inside the box was horrible. It’s meant to be for gift, and it was supposed to be nicely displayed. Few were facing down, few were facing down. I went home and placed it back in a nicely myself.

Even if she hates doing her job or maybe was having a bad day, but she better learn how to do her job right, or to disguise the facial expression.

Dates are amazing. But the shop smells so so bad that you can't stand for a second. Smells like gutter. I would never but from this place unless they fix the smell

All employees are great. Regi and Katherine are amazing. Always kind and willing to make our days better. And, those are the best dates I've ever had in my life

Very bad experience however the guys were polite but we entered the shop 10 minutes before closing time to buy 4 kilos of dates. And thy said sorry we can’t sell coz we closed the system

The lady in the store is very rude. As the store was about to open @ 08: 55 am. I knocked the door and wanted to ask about their cafe but she pretended that she couldn’t hear me knocking. I thought maybe I didn’t knock hard enough for hear to hear. So I did it again harder but it was obvious she was pretending she’s busy and cant hear my voice and the knocking.

Amazing variety of dates and very clean and beautiful shop. Staff is very helpful and patient. Many sizes to choose from. My favorite dates are the ajwa dates. Prices are okay and the quality is excellent - very good as giftd

Gift boxes are well designed, they have ready packed best sellers and also they can prepare upon your wish.

I got these dates in the picture in a small box which cost AED 80 and got 2 smalll gift boxes which cost AED 280.

Most preferred dates are stuffed ones; orange peel, macadamia nut, walnut, pistachio.

There are also chocalate dip options
(The flat ones in the picture either milk or bitter chocolate).

All dates look and taste very fresh.

They have friendly staff, and of course the dates superb! The displays is very tidy and clean. It was a pleasant shop to visit.

Rude staff plus their dates are not that premium. It tastes like an old stock kept for over 100 years. I don't recommend buying here.

The cake box in Japan has a structure in which one corner opens. Therefore, the cake is safely placed in the box.
Sticking it to the bottom of the cake with cellophane tape is not a good idea. The cake will slip, so I think it's a good idea to improve the paper on which the cake is placed. Japan uses trays with plastic rims for long and thin cakes

Box of mixed Bateel dates for gifts to locals, visitors and friends overseas. I always get great reviews from first timers. I have myself 4 macadamia wanan date, my all time favorite (the moderate sweetness that tastes like rich luxury chocolate, your mouth is very occupied after this) after I grab camel milk from Waitrose supermarket. Next, I have a seat in food area next to Bateel store and enjoy my snack/meal with the camel milk all together. Oh, I forgot to mention, they have great biscuits too.

I use to receive a box of bateel dates from relatives coming from DUBAI!
But this time the quality was less then ZERO and instead of filling the dates with walnuts as usual there was a very bad crispy unrecognized wrapped with sugar “something”
The dates were third quality too

Never buy a closed box of dates. We bought many boxes for about 140 Dollar and almost all dates was dry and not good. Very bad

Very arrongant lady staff Gigi, as a sales women she has a very rude behavior not at all fit to be bateel boutique staff. Hope the owner of the shop knows her arrogance towards customers. One star is just for the sake of review.

When I decided to visit Dubai, all I wanted to do is to shop and dine.

Bateel is the perfect place to buy dates of all sorts. They do sell date chocolates and dates stuffed with pistachios, orange, nuts, almonds.

They also have fresh dates and frozen dates. The fresh dates has shelf life of 3 weeks and 3 months of stored in refrigerator.

They also have gift packs and you can buy mixed varieties too. We bought mejdool dates and also mixed pack of stuffed dates.

They also have dates stuffed with almond and then dipped in chocolates. You can choose from mild to extreme sweet dates.

Perfect place to buy healthy gifts for friends and family. My favorite was mejdool dates fresh and dates stuffed with pistachios and orange

My friend from abroad came to visit and have ordered the take away 750g dates with pecan and pistachio and pay approximately AED 149, after opening the package, the dates found to be the plain type dates without pecan and pistachio, I was shocked when he told me about it. Just be careful to double check the dates bought and packaged by the staff there before leaving and paying!

This Cafe never disappoints wherever you choose to visit, it will always make your visit pleasant.everything about it is wild thought of, locations are always great, the menu is diverse and ever changing, they even have seasonal menus. The staff well trained, with service over the top. The dates selection is amazing, and all the items in the menu are very creative. I love the Arabic Qahwa in particular, and the dates-walnut bread is my favorite. Strongly advise a visit.
