Very tasty food! Authentic Japanese cuisine, many dishes I found only at this restaurant not other sushi places. Quality and taste are superb! Ramen is at the top
I would say I found a pure Japanese gem in motor city. Service is great, guys are very polite and helpful.
They even have baked Japanese sweet potato !
Prices are affordable as well. Very much recommend this place.

I really liked this place. The quality of the products is high and the prices are not exorbitant. Everything is deliciously prepared. I've already been here twice and will continue to go. Of the minuses, probably the atmosphere is nothing special, it looks like an ordinary cafe with Japanese cuisine. This is probably the only negative. I recommend this establishment

I think this place is best for people who don’t have experience with real Japanese food. My gf and I do, so it’s a bit difficult for us. The Ramen here in particular was really weak. The broth was just some sort of thin beef or chicken stock, and the noodles seemed to be rice noodles. It felt like what a person who never tasted Japanese ramen would make if they only have a photo of ramen to work from. I understand that a porc broth is impossible, but there are plenty of thick chicken based stocks possible, as well as miso ones. If you don’t have experience with Japanese cuisine, this food may seem good to you as you may not have any expectations. But for us, it doesn’t work. Actually Japanese cuisine in Dubai in general has been pretty sad so far except for once place i won’t mention.

Outstanding Japanese cuisine! I tried various dishes overtime. My favourites are Salmon Avocado Sushi, Salmon Pan Fried, and Beef Moyashi, and every bite was a delight. The Beef Moyashi, in particular, stood out for its exquisite flavor. The service was impeccable, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience.

The sushi was very delicious, the fried calamari and shrimp were also very delicious and the place was great. The waiters were friendly but slow, I would like to go again. The place is small.

Very authentic and delicious Japanese food at a good price. The short rib bento box was tender and juicy, and the fish was very fresh and flavorful. Very nice mocktail menu as well. Will be back again.

Wanted to try something different for lunch and was surely not disappointed!

Love the concept of bento boxes whereby you get a lot of things to choose from and you can decide what is the best and leave the other stuff for your family members, hahahaha!

Positive:
1. By far the best dish to sample was the thinly sliced beef tongue with soy sprouts, the main reason why we wanted to order to be honest, so very happy with how it turned out
2. Didn’t get a chance to try as my wife devoured them all - shrimp gyoza, fact that she didn’t want the share says it all
3. Ebi and veg tempura, definitely a winner too.

In general on a very positive note as well, they split the sashimi into a different bag with ice pack away from the warm food - very very much appreciated!

Negative:
1.miso soup was without flavor
2. Not entirely sure what the pasta was doing there
3. The sauce offered with the chicken katsu did not really match.

Overall really enjoyed our meal and definitely will be a returning customer!

I recently visited the Bentoya restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The service provided by Rohit and Umesh was outstanding. He made sure that our orders were taken care of quickly and efficiently. They also gave us great recommendations on which dishes to try. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Amazing real Japanese food! They made it keto friendly for me (Spanish w/o soy sauce, salmon roe w/ cucumber instead of rice!). My daughter ordered the Raman she said is the best in Dubai! It has miso & soy sauce so I couldn’t try, otherwise I must order!

Always loved dining in this restaurant and first time to dine in this branch. Ordered chicken katsudon, okonomiyaki and chicken karaage bento and miso soup. Taste was not as good as that with their other branch. Even the miso soup is bland. Hope they can improve.

Standard fast foot type Japanese restaurant. All the dishes are forgettable. I personally wouldn't go there again. They have an outside seating but if you sit there, no one will notice you and you'll have to keep calling the staff for service.

For the price that they charge wasn’t the best quality. Chicken katsu dry and no gravy with it. Gyoza was lacking salt and flavor. Needs improvement.

The environment is nice and clean. Food taste and portions are decent. The drink was good and fairly priced.

One thing that needed help is the sushi should be firmer and tighter packed to not fall apart. Also trim off the excess filling at the edge to make it more tidy.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant in Dubai, because they have the most authentic taste. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Ciara who asisted us very well. Keep up the good work!

The great Bentoya food from the main branch, served also here in a closer place for us. Very nice and friendly staff too.

I went for the first time in this restraunt and my experience was awesome this place is very calming? And comfortable and the takoyaki is the best starter to choose. And the ramen are so good, staff is very accomodating too, very friendly

I was in hurry so I decided to takeaway my food and the rahmen noodle and okonomiyaki is soo good which is suggested by them so I decided to give a try and surely I am satisfied, I highly recommend this place ️?

I've tried my favorite Gekikara Ramen, and it is same taste that it had every single time! Great! I've also ordered Takoyaki and Soft shell crab sushi, and they're also amazing. 5/5

Ambience and location:
Good location, but you have to pay for the parking as usual with this area in Motor City. Restaurant is clean and it is not crowded when we went at around 9PM, Wednesday night. Interiors are well lit, and it has the same ambience is with all classic Japanese restaurant. 4/5

I was originally so excited to know that there was a new Japanese restaurant branch that had opened up.
Ordered a ramen… and literally I took out the beansprouts on top and it literally FILLED UP to the size of another whole bowl? What a cheap tactic. I have visited Japan many times in person so I was very disappointed with the authenticity of this food being served at bentoya in dubai. I understand that food standards might vary compared to Japan but I really was shocked to see this amount of beansprouts. The soup broth did not blow my mind at all. Even the ajitama ramen egg was just WRONGLY done. I pretty much got a half boiled egg I hope there will be no offence taken but I genuinely believed that judging by the taste, texture and quantity of the ramen noodles that there were from a packet, like instant noodles.
Secondly, this 21 piece sushi “half party platter” was an ultimate rip off. 90aed for this tiny and inferior sushi plate. Salmon was not “melt in your mouth” sashimi. “Crab” was a cheap low quality surimi crabstick which most likely contains no real crab meat. The textures, freshness and flavours were just off. Tempura in the sushi roll was dry and not crispy. I even had lettuce leaf served in the sushi roll? ! Thank you but no way will I visit again. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Amazing restaurant, I can’t stop myself from going there. It taste very well and the staff is amazing and very kind.

Newly opened branch of bentoya in Motor City so it’s still a bit quiet. This was such a good move from them for me since we no longer need to deal with traffic going to Financial center if we’re craving. As always, the food is great! Their ramen is one of the best and sushi rolls always taste fresh. The takoyaki is also well cooked and the flavor is just right. The service was fast and our waiter is very attentive. This restaurant is affordable considering they serve authentic japanese cuisine.

I love Bentoya and we usually eat in the branch on sheikh zayd road. Today we tried the branch in motor city, the waiter forgot half of the order although we were the only customers in the place! Very disappointing.

Love it but the ramen.idk, it needs more spices maybe.

Absolutely love Bentoya. They have an incredibly large selection of options on the menu and all very authentic! So happy to be able to get so many Japanese options at such high quality. My favorite find, although simple, was the plum onigiri which I have not found anywhere else.

The best Japanese and Sushi restaurant I had in Dubai after trying many others, the size of the pieces is decent not tiny like all the other restaurants I tried, also the ingredients and produce quality is high and fresh, I tried it dining in?

My first time definitely not the last. The ramen noodles, rolls and their authentic sweet potatoes are amazing and the ambience is great. Quality that is worth your money.

Delicious food in a nice setting. Service was excellent. Loved the seafood udon soup and tuna salad both very tasty.

The Katsu curry rice was awesome! Tried it for the first time last week and going back this weekend:) Chicken Yakisoba and Seafood Yakisoba were good too. Dipesh customer service was very good!
