Let me tell you, this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I can't get enough of their scrumptious Ikan Bakar Sambal Matah. Seriously, you've got to try it! The food here is just top-notch, and I've enjoyed every single bite. Plus, the service is fantastic. The staff is so attentive and friendly, especially this awesome Ceri & Indonesian guy named Roy. They super helpful but also Roi is imut2, Oh, and the ambiance? It's just perfect. You can even play your favorite songs while waiting for your order. Trust me, you'll have a great time here.

Food are good but the restaurant are horrible.
We dine inside the restaurant which more like a “store” everything are on the tables and on the chairs. Bags, packaging, papers, like literally everything.
The staff was working on customer table and occupied the whole big table.
Im not sure about what’s happening but doesn’t feel like dine in a restaurant.the atmosphere they have its far from what they claimed as “time out best restaurants”, they should probably take that award away from the display

I will give honest review.
The place was great, definitely you got skyscrapers and lake, they have lights in the night, it looks good!
The service? Not to special, but oke, I have no complaint about that.
The food? Hmmm.several food tasted good, severals are great, the several of them are not recommended.
I tried Bakso, the texture of the Bakso itself are to mushy, I tried also their pempek, do you guys have fish in it? It taste like pempek dos (pempek without fish) and the taste exactly like pempek in street vendor in Indonesia.
Mie goreng also so so.
But your Martabak manis is crazy delicious!

Also too bad that every food come to our table was not hot anymore, I mean why? !
I hate eating cold food.
Actually I plan to try your Nasi Padang, but from the picture and from the description in the menu I know its not Nasi Padang! Have you guys try Nasi Padang?
Nasi padang always have at least gravy soup of Gulai ayam, NO TEMPE OREK and lodeh that’s ridiculous!
Please you need to introduce real Nasi Padang to foreigner, the one you serve is Nasi rames not Nasi Padang! Try googling Nasi Padang now!

A cozy restaurant with an amazing lagoon view is a perfect place to spend your time with family and friends.

Outstanding flavour and taste. Truly loved the quality and over all taste. I am surely craving for more already. Excellent menu and I am so glad to have found my favourite restaurant in Betawi.

I had the pleasure of dining at an Betawi restaurant in JLT and was incredibly impressed. The food was delicious and truly authentic, with a diverse selection of dishes on the menu. The service was excellent, with the staff being very attentive and knowledgeable about the offerings. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with a welcoming atmosphere. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend this Indonesian restaurant to anyone in Dubai.

Please tell your Chef to reduce the flour used for the calamari. It's 90% flour, 10% actual calamari.

Amazing foods, I mostly liked this noodle! Soup also nice soup was with beef, beef was very soft, liked so much! But soup was a little sweet, I think added sugar, I don’t like add sugar in soup but Indonesian people used to eat like this! But taste is not bad! Noodle was very well! Next time will be order noodle again!

What a find! I was missing Indonesian food and saw this highly rated place on the map! It was a great choice! Super authentic, portions are good, fresh ingredients and taste will take you back to Indonesia!

I have been going to Betawi for over a decade since the karama branch. I love Indonesian food as it’s spicy like Thai food. Especially Sambal. I love the sitting outside, the view is very nice. The food always amazing. Unfortunately, there is no toilet inside the restaurant. You need to ask the card from the staff and parking is a bit difficult to find.

I have tried laska noodle soup and oh my God it was amazing! The flavor is so rich And the portion is so generous I would give the chef an award for that piece of art ️

Beef rengdan was a bit tough but food was very flavourful. Best Indonesian restaurant been too so far

Mie Ayam is my favorite food in my lovely country and Betawi restaurant JLT seved it very tasty and nice complete with the condiments also, this Steamed egg noodle with green vegetable and marinated chicken in special tasty served with fried dumpling 100/100. The ambience of tje restaurant also very comfortable especially indoor area. All staff are nice and will come back here again absolutely

I used to frequent Betawi a few years ago when the service and food was excellent.
But now the whole place smells of bad reused oil. We waited 50 mins for our order only to find out that it was not processes (the server who took our order left without conveying it).

The restaurant only prioritizes take away orders, we went for a dine in, during our lunch break and had to wait for 40-45 minutes for fried rice

Some items didn’t even show up after 45 minutes, and some people from our party had to leave without eating, so they don’t get late to work.

First time trying Indonesian food. If I’m not wrong we ordered the nasi goreng (fried rice with egg) and the nasi Padang (the coconut soup was delicious). The food was really good, the contrast of flavours and the aroma were to die for! It was spicy yet flavourful. However, although the ambiance, the view and the food were great, the service was not.

First time to try this wonderful dessert from betawi the staff were so friendly and very approachable. Highly recommended and the place is very nice and cozy

We are excited to try this Indonesian resto as we have tried Indonesian foods before and we loved it. Giving 4 stars for the good service, amount of serving, and for the cozy ambiance.

It's a fantastic experience and worth of keep on coming back for their delicious food. Staffs are very accommodating and ambience is perfectly suitable to enjoy with family and friends.

So basically I'm a coffee guy and I never thought Indonesian Iced Coffee would be this good. It's not just their food that's amazing. It's their coffee as well. If you will be around the JLT Area, their coffee is a must try, pair it with a their authentic Dadar Gulung and it's heaven. They also have the nicest staff, find Roy - he makes the best coffee.

Brilliant place to eat Indonesian food. Their Nasi Padang is out of the world which comes with Beef or Chicken Rendang, Rice, Sambal and other condiments. Dont miss their Nasi Goreng too.

A bit heavy on the pocket if you are looking for cost effective options.

I personally tried fried vegetable fritters and bebek cabe ijo. It was so good and the sambal taste like indonesian sambal which is spicy and full of flavors! The portion also generous. I will visit again for sure

My favorites were the chicken curry, which was more like soup, but was like a lovely warm hug. Light, flavorful and wholesome - not thick like you expect. The fiery chicken was really spicy, and I absolutely loved that! Great flavor of lemon grass and kick. Good duck as well! They do have a vegan menu with some interesting options.

If you want to experience the authenticity of Indonesia, this is a great place to set your tone in Dubai.
I felt like back at home especially when the food was originally handmade by a whole kitchen of Indonesians.

Found this family owned authentic Indonesian restaurant in Dubai. There are 3 branches and I visited the JLT branch with its breathtaking view and romantic ambiance ️‍

Been looking for an authentic Indonesian restaurant here in Dubai and found this gem in the heart of JLT. With an amazing lake view, you may enjoy delicious and flavorful dishes.

I tried their Seafood Boodle Fight and I was very happy with the taste. It’s a different kind of flavor. Very rich and the spices are addictive. Also enjoyed their new drinks so perfect cut the savory taste.

Definitely coming back here and bring my family soon.

Good in volume, fairly reasonably priced. When you feel like eating Indonesian food in Dubai, which is a little find, this Betawi would be awesome choice. GadoGado salad here was one of the best among which I tried as GadoGado so far. Next time, I will try satay for sure.

My friend invited me for lunch to Betawi in JLT.
I had no clue about indonesian dishes.
Staff was super friendly and explained me their dishes and recommended their best seller Soto Betawi with choice of beef meat. Honestly I really liked it. It was mildly spicy and super tasty.
We spoke about their coffee with the owner who is super kind and she asked her waiter to assist us with best choices. I tried ES Kopi with coconut milk, absolutely delicious. If you are espresso lover you have to try their indonesian/bali beans. It is something completely different.

Ordered SATE, GADO GADO and NASI GORENG couple of days back for takeaway, but the quality of SATE and NASI Goreng was Awful. Having spent 10 years in Indonesia, could not relate the taste to Indonesian quality food.but this was not the case few years back.guys need to improve a lot.also prices are not Value for money any more

Once again after thinking that their service had changed I’m disappointed to say it’s still horrible. Ordered through Zomato and got only a partial order but paid for it in full. Batawi and Zomato were not willing to correct the order. Simply disappointing!
Little Bali never disappoints and so does dapoer kita or Chef Bali. And I’ll have to check out some new comers.will review shortly. Hope they provide better service than Betawi!

Not at all a bad option if it is your first time tasting Indonesian food! Portions are quite big and service is great. In the summer they are running a very cooled indoors seating area. Prices are ok and value for money is a good match.

The food at Betawi is delicious, and affordable too. It's a great place to seat, chill and have a decent meal.

Good flavor but the meat quality is not so great. Need to improve on their chicken, beef, and shrimp quality.

Loved the spicy beef with bellpeppers. Very flavoured. For dessert you may try the indonesian pancake with cheese anf chocolate

If you like an authentic Indonesian taste, this restaurant is the right choice. I love almost everything they have. Great taste of rendang and sop buntut.

We love Indonesian food - Betawi restaurant offers authentic Indonesian cuisines and the spiciest & mouth watering "sambal" (home-made chillie sauce). We tried grilled chicken rice set, gado-gado (steamed veggies with peanut sauce), sate ayam (chicken on skewers) and fried tempe (soybean). All very good. Highly recommended.

I”d never had Indonesian food before so was interested in trying new flavors. I love to try new food so went for the best recommended by friend who works in the area.

So we had a little of everything as sampling is the best and no food envy occurs!

My favorite was the rice noodles along with an excellent Nasi goering.

Definitely a place to try and super well priced.

Unfortunately the AC is strained given JLT’s capacity issues. However, they had a separate standalone unit to compensate.

This Indonesian restaurant is truly a hidden culinary gem in Dubai. After tasting Betawi Cafe's precious food, I am proud to say that I am now a FAN of Indonesian food. I am quite impressed by the quality of service and hospitality of the restaurant staff and personnel.

I love their sumptuous and amazing food.like Nasi Goreng, Sotto Betawi, Beef Soup, and the Martabak. It was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed eating it. They have a wide selection in their menu. That is one thing I am excited to look forward too.in visiting Betawi Cafe.
