Taste is good, qty of the combo gravy is very low you comparing to the price AED30 you are getting 2 roti and chatni type of qty in gravy and you can’t ask for more.
I had ordered samosa chaat by paying double of what I pay in other joints, since it’s very famous I thought it’s gonna taste heaven. Only after I received my order I realized they had put 1 mini samosa and filled plate with Chana.it was more like Chana chaat.not worth the hype.and I felt like I had chole gravy.and staffs are also very rude they behave as if they own this place
We tried the falahari thali as it was Navratri and it was delicious (mostly)! Mini malai koftas and kuttu puris were the best. Loved samak rice, it was light and fluffy. Paneer and aalu were good, sitafal (custard apple) curry was interesting but too sweet. Arbi pickle was dry and sabudana papad and pakora were soggy. Sabudana kheer, however, was yummy! We also ordered sabudana aalu tikki and it was too good (didn’t click a picture)
First time ordered from Bikanerwala here in UAE as it is one of the finesh restaurant in India. So placed the order through Zomato. Delivery experience was one of the worst experience ever had. So someone from restaurant (Mr Ankit) calls and informs me that they can not deliver to my address as it is located in Al nahda Sharjah, and request me to come down and pick the food from Dubai al nahda day to day. Now excuse they make is if rider leave their bike then their will be fine, so they are requesting by saying that i should come and collect the order wher£ as delivery charge through Zomato is 5Aed which is been charged. When i said i cannot come and collect and told them to deliver, the restaurant guy Ankit says ok sir we will try to deliver. Now once the restaurant person disconnect the call, the delivery person calls and ask me the same to come and collect from Day to Day Al nahda, when again i told him why should i come to collect and that to in this hot summer, when it is supposed to be delivered to my home and plus i paid for the delivery charges why should i come so far to collect my order, the delivery guy says why did u order, u should not order the food since restaurant is in dubai near to Stadium metro station and i reside at al nahda Sharjah so i should not place the order. This was the reply in a rude manner the delivery person spoke. It is restaurant responsibility to make sure they give money to riders if in such cases they can park their bikes by paying parking fees to deliver food and avoid Fines from officials. However everyone wants shortcut, they can charge delivery fees but they can't pay delivery guys parking fees if incase they have to park their bikes.
Finally i had to contact zomato, informed them this is how the listed restaurant under zomato treats their customers. Zomato as usual we will take action and make sur£ restaurant manager will call and apologise. Finally there is call from restaurant for apologizing and when i asked who is speaking, person said i am the manger when i asked his name he said Ankit. He says I was the one who called from restaurant first and i apologize on behalf of rider as he is not from our restaurant. He hired him through kareem. So this is how apologize happens and then its over. Again same they will repeat with any other customer and then at end will apology and problem solved. Anyway the food was delivered but experience with Bikanerwala here in UAE was one of the worst experience. Wondering is there any management where you can file a complain against such practices.
On 1st December 2022 Tried Masala Dosa, 1 plate Sambar and and executive Thali.
MASALA DOSA 3.5/5
Masala Dosa was good crispy but when u compare with Bikaner from India (DelhiNCR) not same Taste but it was good. Sambar was good, but red chatni was not good, ahite Chatni was average.
Vada Sambar 2/5 Even though u get 3 crispy Hot vada, but vada not cooked well from inside you can feel the taste of raw batter.
Executive Thali cost 25AED. IT Had one paneer curry (palak paneer), which was average, one Daal which tasted really good, bhindi fry, which was again fry, rice, raita, and two small rasagulla. Thali was average 2.5/5
Service was fast so changing my review to 2/5 to bikaner for now.
Food is worst in every aspect in Al Qusais (Lulu Food Court Branch). Even a simple dosa is very very poor. As you can see in the picture it is burnt and with no taste. Full waste of money. Go to Karama branch, which is slightly better. On a serious note it is Kachra (Rubbish) quality. Dont go Bikanerwala choose any other vegetarian option to avoid wasting your time and money.
I’ve always been curious about Indian street food, and seeing various posts about it gets me drooling. I love pani puri and then I came across ‘Dahi Puri’: these cute sized snacks are similar to pani puri but tweaked up with fillings. Inside these crunchy shells are a spoonful of potato masala (boiled potatoes cooked with spices), generously covered with Dahi (yogurt), chaat masala, and the most important part is the tangy-spicy chutney/ sauce that is essential for this famous desi street food, and finally topped with some pomegranate seeds, sev (fried gram flour vermicelli), herbs and beetroot. Absolutely loved and devoured this fast eat, got my tastebuds tingling. Has all the right flavours to satisfy my much awaited cravings- spicy, sweet, tangy, savory, salty ingredients all bursting in my mouth in each bite. The main reason why I love this eat is because of the three chutneys used here- green, sweet and red (well you could take a hungry guess by its names). Snack time done right at Bikanervala. Hoping to try more of their snacks.
We went as a family for an evening meal and I found it very relaxed atmosphere and friendly. The waiters were patient and very helpful. If you treat people with respect then you will be treated with same rather than behaving badly.just saying! We shared several dishes of Bhel Puri, Chaat, Dhahi Puri, Aaloo Paratha amongst a few other dished . There were 6 of us and the portions were ample enough for all to share and eat heartily.
The restaurant itself was smart and clean and staff were on hand to assist with customer's needs. They were very good with Non Indian customers (there were some when I was eating) who were guided as to what the food dishes were.most thoughtful about kids portions too.
They also have tables set outside and custoners wanting to sit in the warmth of the evening dusk, and watch the world go by can do so. Plenty of spaces.
The Indian food was as authentic as one eats in India (southern India) full of charm and pinch of delicate flavors and a dash of spices. Go if you get a moment and enjoy the food and lovely ambience.
It's only bikanervala located in Food Court of mall with common sitting area with other restaurant. However, food quality is as same as expected from this restaurant. Weekends are very crowded. Specially in evening hours.
Located at Lulu hypermarket, Stadium metro station. Lulu parking is available for free, if you are going there. There are other food outlets available in the same food court. Bikanervala at Karama Dubai is still the best.
Famous brand of Indian sweets and namkeens in dubai. They serves traditional Indian snacks, sweets and namkeens. Dine in or take away both facilities available. Service is average.
One of the best places near by to get Indian ethnic sweets with the right taste, perfect flavour and ample of choices. Food and snacks are also good, but nothing can beat their sweets at any of their outlets, in Dubai atleast they are the best.
Nice restaurant for North Indian food. There are various types of thali's available. Further, chaat variety is very good. I visited here on various occasions and ate thali, mixed chaat, chana chaat, pani and dahi puri. Kajo katli and moong daal halwa are there specialities. Staff are helpful.
I have been buying my mithai, paneer, snacks regularly since years. Today the Bengali mithai was packed in the paper box instead of the plastic containers. When I reached home all the juice and syrup had leaked and the paper boxes and the bag was dripping.
Request to please inform the new staff how to pack.
Some of the menu items are quite good here like raj kachoria and some of them needs improvement. They have most of the North Indian snacks and food items.
One of the nice place in Al Qusais to have North Indian sweets, snacks and Chaat at a reasonable price. It's inside the Lulu food court, it would be little busy place during weekends and public holidays. Parking lots are also available near by. And it's few steps away from Stadium Metro Station. We ordered Rasmalai and Malai Rasgulla the taste was really good.
Have lot of varieties of chats and many other north indian dishes. Some of my favourites is Chinese platter and veg tandoori platter. The platter comprise of meal and is best for a single person who is confused of what to order. The Chinese platter consists of veg Manchurian, Veg fried rice, veg noodles and spring rolls. The veg noodles just ruled the platter. The tandoori platter consists of paneer tikka, dal and naan variety. The platters are my favourite here. Some of the other items such as chats and snacks also was good. So try it one of the best food court in lulu food court. They also provide beep alarm to get notified when food is necessary so no problem for waiting near the shop. A wide variety of sweets is available so try it.
