Deira City Centre, bombay Chapati is not i visited today for the first time, but i never expected this from the staff, the guy with black t-shirt really disappointed me, i don't even know the management has been changed, the service is not the same i had before 2 months

Pathetic behaviour by the lady cashier and staff as I was ordering a Raj Kachori and Samosa chaat on my gems reward offer they charged me 2 dhs extra while enquiring the staff is explaining us that we did not understand this basic principle that they will charge only on the higher amount which doesn’t make sense at all. The point is not of the 2 dhs their behavior was completely rude and insensitive. Kindly take appropriate action as it’s completely unprofessional.

It's named after a place in India but is owned by a Pakistani. They want to cash in on the Indian name to attract customers.

Food is below average. Extremely oily.

Regular visitors to Deira city center mall and always impressed at the range of delicious foods on offer. Have tried most options both in foodhall and up on level 2 - and so it only seemed right to have a Bombay Chowpatti.

My family had a look over the counter and decided against anything on offer opting instead for a Panda Chinese smart combo.

I persevered and stood trying to order for a while eventually being served and I asked for chicken biryani.

Stood and waited watching the staff mill about and they started putting dishes on top of counter. One of them was mine but I had no idea because nobody told me.

Eventually I asked if my biryani was ready and the guy just pointed at one of the random plates. I couldn’t clearly see the contents as it was up high on top of the Perspex. I reached up and sure enough there was a bit of chicken sat on some dry looking rice.

By now I was starving so just took the unappetizing food to our table where my family had already finished their delicious Chinese food.

They laughed at my plate and it did look really bad.

I started eating and the rice was so dry and cold it was almost crispy. The chicken smelled a little sour and I had a bite which in hindsight was a mistake.

It was very average, lukewarm and dry as a bone.

I had another spoon of rice and then gave up. We had to go so I marked it down to experience and vowed it would be my last chowpatti.

About an hour later I felt a bit green so made a decision to head back to apartment and this was the right decision.

What followed was like a horror film and I don’t want to go into too many details but I got through 3 full toilet rolls and had to shower twice.

I felt sick and had a fever / chills for 2 more days and couldn’t leave the apartment for fear of an explosive encore.

To summarize would I recommend Bombay Chowpatti at Deira City Center mall?

No and for the love of all that’s good in the world and the sanctity of your rear end I beg you to give it a wide berth.

I tried, now it’s up to you to heed this warning!

Ordered food, Tea & Coffe worth AED 51. Waste of money and poor quality. Tea and coffee is just Hot water with sugar added.

Terrible experience when I ordered pav bhaji

they gave me ready made food which wasn’t even hot I had given them the food back saying to make it hot

but they just put it back in the oven and gave back yet it wasn’t hot okay the third ask after waiting for a period of time they gave us but

I would not recommend to anyone

Never recommend this place and never come again its like waste of money I ordered pav bhaji and dosa both things is vaste of money

Bombay CHOW-POTTY:
I ordered seekh kabab with rice. The kebabs were bland and tasteless. The biryani rice was dry and stale. The staff is extremely unapproachable and even rude. This dish cost aed 38 but I would rather eat from panda Chinese which serves 2 non veg dishes with rice or noodles and a drink all for aed 32. The food at Bombay chowpatty is extremely disgusting and the experience is unpleasant. They should change their name to bombay CHOW-POTTY

Worst coffee ever had, being such a huge brand and especially promoting Bombay they are spoiling the its name

If you want to taste one of the worst samosa chat then don't be delay.please visit the Deira city center branch.

Worst food…I have ordered tandoori chicken with poori…. I never throw food…but this time I’m forced to throw the food into bin…such a worst food…. Tandoori chicken was smelling like fish and was not fresh…I went and asked the counter guy…his response was terrible …worst food ever tasted in dubai….

I usually like the bombay chowpatty branch at dcc.but today i had the worst bhel puri ever.it ws plain without much ingredients.no peanuts or anythn.highly dissapointed.

Their masala chai is amazing.

Please dont eat here.most pathetic food.they make food as if its free (food served in indian Railway). I got a veg biryani which is like fried rice, no taste nothing.if u want to waste 24 aed, you can do that at BOMBAY CHOWPATY

Very bad experience in bombay chowpatty DCC, as waited from 10: 25 for it to open as per the cashier to be open by 11: 00. But still send back by 11: 03 saying not ready yet. Please dont lie to customer and waste there time.

I tried veg thali, masala dosa and Pav bhaji below is my experience.

Dosa n chatni was good but sambar failed.

Pav bhaji is not actually pav bhaji as bhaji taste is different from actual dish. It taste something else u can't compare with real indian pav bhaji.

Veg thali palak pani is good but flower sabji better avoid.

Dosa is nice specially the coconut chutney. Rest quite average except vada pav which I dont recommend.

Worst ever dosa i had in my life, super cold masala, chutney & very chewy batter. AVOID

Totally disappointed with food quality. Nothing there just chilly powder. Need to learn, how to make chicken curry no onions, no green chilly just a chilly powder. I wasted my money.one star also not suit, but other wise can't post this review

One of the worst branch of Bombay Chowpatty. Their food and chutneys are stale and have a distinctive smell when the food cools off. I am suffering through a stomach infection today after having their food last evening. Absolutely disgusting food!

Indian restaurant in dubai which serves delicious chaat, kabab, pani puri, dahi bhalle, biryani, dosa at affordable price but for few foods their charges are higher. Service is good because staff will explain everything you need to know about food. Allu paratha is not good. Placed in daira city center food court.

This place is awesome and has excellent food. I had the best biryani I have ever had, in this restaurant.

I had several bad experiences at the Lulu al Barsha branch after which I shifted to Puranmal but this one at the Deira city center made my decision final that they don't value customers at all. I ordered for 2 chat dishes and since it would have been shared with the two kids asked for 2 extra pieces of disposables (plate, plastic spoon n tissues) to which the server rudely said no. I lost it and spoke to the manager who arranged paper plate n others. It felt terrible. I never had such an experience ever. I would have expected that they would value the customer who over so may options in the food court visited them but clearly they don't need customers. Food was okay.
