This place is huge! I'm not a avid reader but love comics and graphic novels specially, very helpful staff and there good place to get lost in books!

Very nice book store with books and not just toys! They have a huge selection of arabic books and arabic kids books. Much better than any other bookstore I've visited in dubai so far.

I love this place. Whenever i need anything about stationary, Koinonia comes in my mind the first. As an artist i need so many different tools to work with, which i can't find in local stationary. The prices are not low but the hospitality and quality is great.

My haven?

This is absolutely my favorite place in Dubai! It has a variety of genre! I even found the book I was looking for in the PH that already sold out. They always have fun events to attend to.

They offer a membership card which gives a discount every time you buy something. Staff are very nice & accommodating to queries. You can even stay there for a long time in the corner which has bean bags and they have chairs in some part if you want to read a book before buying it.

Atmosphere is cozy and inviting! They not only have books but toy collections/figurines as well + stationary part is amazing.

I live in Saudi Arabia and I wanted to order some specific books that I couldn’t get locally and wanted to use somewhere other than Amazon (support more local businesses). The order was easy, 3/4 books were available and the bill included 101 Saudi riyals delivery charge. The order arrived quickly, however I was charged an additional 60 riyals upon delivery. Meaning a total of more than 50% of the books cost was in delivery charges I emailed kinokuniya for an explanation but six weeks later I have not received a reply. I will definitely be hesitant to order from them again just because of the unexpected additional delivery cost.

This beautiful place is no less than a heaven on earth. My wife loves such places. When we entered the Dubai Mall, she found this place and I know not where she was for next 3 hours. She remained there. Told me they have a huge collection of things. Not only books but other stationery items too. Popular fiction, poetry, drama, japanese books, Islamic books, magazines, character toys and a lot more. A lovely place, really. Must visit.

Best book shop. The books are sealed so no one can damage them, they have a vast range of books and one of the best parts is the comic part with mangas, comics and even action figures. This is the best you can ask for.

The only thing good about this place is the large collection. Service is a joke. The staff is not knowledgeable at all. The supposed Japanese expert (lady with glasses) is very rude and not helpful at all. I would recommend you spend your money on other bookstores in the city that are not just commercial undertakings, have an ounce of charm and treat customers with respect.

It’s like heaven for who loves reading, everything are available, every section rich of all what you need from books, novels, mathematics, chemistry, astrology, , also small toys for the novels which turned to cinema’s movies, maybe it’s little pit expensive, but it deserves, and you can choose from the offers they made, one day I searched for a book and they promised me to bring it special order and I found it available same on time which they promised me, I really loved this place?

Great bookstore. Purchased hundreds of books from here. My only complaint is that the Arabic and Arabic- translated books section is relatively small. You guys should expand it.

Loved kinokuniya in the Dubai mall. Latest books and stationery are available but I aldo found it a little expensive. The variety of genre and languages of books you can get here. Spend some time reading books as there are no shortage of seating facilities.

Fantastic place for "bookworms" and just those who love to read occasionally. They have pretty much everything for painters, writers, readers and even expensive pens for gifting.

This is a heavenly place. You'd feel a rush of information into your blood stream when you enter. It's really a big place and they have a large variety of books of different topics and languages. It's a highly recommended place to go to for your reading experience.

This is an awesome book store I have ever been to. They have an mind boggling collection of books of all the categories that you can imagine. Moreover they have provided lot of seating facilities scattered around the huge store where you can browse through the books. The store is so large that you will find difficulty finding your way out. They have a large collection of stationaries.

The worse system for discount card still depending on paper you have to carry the card to get discount they can't check with your mobile number poor system

A must visit place for book lover, everything you need is available here. Easily located in Dubai Mall when you take Metro. It’s grand entrance makes you feel you are in heaven. One could literally carry a sleeping bag and spend the rest of their life in Kinokuniya. Best place ever. The bookshelves are unending and the books are constantly staring back at you asking to be picked up.
Caution to book lovers: Don't go in if you only came to buy one title. Stay at the entrance and let the book be brought to you unless you are okay with spending your entire life saving buying each and every book you touch.

You will find all the possible books one can find with dedicated sections for international series like Harry potter, Game of thrones and also a complete section of anime.

My favourite bookstore in Dubai that houses a wide range of books. It misses a star due to the odd layout that has been implemented. I understand that part of the excitement is to wander about and stumble across some exciting reads, but there needs to be consistency within the placements of shelves and the floor plan for a more seamless experience.
