Brownie Point Cakes & Confectioners - Karama

Ordered a milk cake via noon.received spoilt milk.can't believe they're this careless since this is a serious health hazard. When they are priced at AED 33, you would expect some quality, its better to spend a couple of bucks more to get the OG LDC or Home Bakery milk cakes which never disappoint.

We have ordered cake for our corporate birthday celebration at 4.00 PM and cake has delivered at 5.30 PM.we tried to call the store none has attended the call and not even shown the courage to call us back. We wrote the invoice number and name to be invoiced, hence they invoiced wrong name. That itself took long time frame. Very bad service and coordination.the guy coming for the delivery doesn't have internet connection in his phone too.very bad experience all together.please be careful while ordering from them.

Amazing cakes and pastries at Brownie Point at Al Karama. Excellent vegetarian options. Sushil is a great help for suggestions.

Loved their Dutch Truffle Cake one of our favourite. Their Ferrero Rocher Cake is just too tempting.

Courteous staff and delivery is On time…

Really big difference in brownie point in last few years. Their service and response was amazing before. Now we feel they are over busy and not interested getting repeat customers. Replies and response is very short and doesn’t care what customer will feel or think the way they replies. Don’t even try to understand customer needs and say they have another customer but they should think that too that they are also talking to a current customer. Hope this message reaches to higher management.

Didn’t have the patience to wait for any occasion and this is how I eat Brownie point cakes. Awesome cakes. Chocolate Truffle soft and moist is my favorite always. Karama branch prepares the best cake. It’s been 13 years I’m a fan of Brownie point. Tried Occasions, Mister baker and all other guys but Brownie point is the best

A beautiful cake which tasted superb, light fluffy with prefect sweetness. The frosting was wow. Over all a great experience with brownie point

Delivery was so late! We were promised that it’ll be delivered before a specific time but end up waiting for half an hour. The cake was supposed to be a bon voyage treat surprise for our friend but brownie point ruined it.

Ordered an eggless strawberry chocolate cake and it was absolutely brilliant. We thought the cake would only have a little bit of strawberry but it had enough and more for more than 10people to consume at least one strawberry on their plate. Worth the money that we paid for the 1kg cake. Was loved by young and old alike.

I usually purchase cake from Brownie Point Karama branch. Love the box perfect for a gift and the icing design. BUT the cake we purchased recently was too dry️. If you talk about chocolate cake we mostly expect moist texture like mouth watering and finger licking. That’s why I can give you only 3 stars. Hope I can expect the improvement for the next purchase. ️

Brownie point has Sugar free, Gluten & Vegan Cakes without messing the taste of the product & that is something unique i found so impressive. They have 3 varieties of lip smacking vegan, sugar free & Gluten brownies with marvelous taste. 3 varieties in cheesecakes you shouldn’t be missing & their travel pistachio cake is a must try.
One of their dessert I was instantly in love with is Lotus Milk cake OMG you definitely need to try their milk cakes for once. They have four varieties in milk cakes. Staff there is really hospitable, maintained the place so well. I spent my best time there and if you want to have a good time with your friends Brownie Point is definitely the place?

The worst cake I have eaten is from brownie point they have pistachio cake with horrible taste and even the truffle pastry I ordered was too bad.the successfully spoiled my dessert plan. I suggest to remove pistachio cake from menu as it's more than horrible

Too less variety in eggless pasteries they should look into it as everyone is not a fan of chocolate. Pasteries, Macaroons, Brownies, cupcakes and chocolates are delicious as always. Parking is difficult to find near karama cake shop.

Poor Staff

Came here to book a customized cake for my son’s birthday, but leaving now after wasting my 20 minutes.

Staff is least bothered that customer is waiting for someone to entertain him.

Hopefully other branches will have good staff who know well how to attend the customers.

This is my place for get the cakes of my family celebrations. I have three years ordering from here and our favorite is Dutch truffle, if you’re a chocolate lover go for this one. We’ve tried also the red velvet but is not outstanding just ok.
Some days ago I order a customised cake for my one year old baby, the cake was of 1 kg, fondant from outside and Dutch truffle inside. Beautiful cake! Enough for 10-12 adults. I ordered same the same day in the morning so it was ready by night, so in case you need a customise cake tell them with time.
️I’m going to give you 5 stars because overall everything is ok, BUT I had a big problem to get in touch with your staff through social media, I sent you message in Facebook, instagram and messenger several times. In the end after many days I called your branch and Julie helped me in the moment through call and WhatsApp for be able to have the cake that I needed.

Bought Lotus cheesecake, Red velvet and chocolate cake slices. When we walked into the shop it did not smell like a bakery but an off-putting chemical smell. When we had the cake it also had chemical taste except the chocolate one. The cheesecake base ones were a big disappointment and unfortunately we live far and could not go back to return it. I did call the shop to inform them of the same and the store manager, Jerome, said we can get replacements for it. But personally I would not buy from them again.

I recently ordered a cake from Brownie point for an employees wedding anniversary. I decided at 6.30 pm in the evening to place the order for a 1kg Black forest cake to be delivered at 8 pm the same evening at the residence of my company employee. Brownie point accepted my order and delivered the cake very promptly.

I must say not only is their service level superb but the feedback on the taste of the cake was even better. The person who was celebrating mentioned that they have tasted many black forest cakes in their lives but this one from Brownie point was something special and really good.

I ordered Dutch Truffle cake yesterday. It was very nice. The lady who I spoke with was good to talk to. Though I forgot to ask her name.

We ordered a Belgium Nougat cake from the Barsha branch. Was not really up to the mark taste wise.

Everything is fine expect not giving a carry bag!
Whats the point? You can give a plastic spoon, box, candles but not a plastic bag?
Atleast a paper bag? SMH!

Best place to have biryani in UAE, 5 starts. 1 biryani is enough for 2 people. Mutton is very soft. Tastes yummy

Brownie Point serves the best brownie in the town! Seating arrangements available with around 6-7 tables. Brownie Point is located in Karama near to Power Gym and New West zone supermarket.

We ordered 90 pieces of assorted cupcakes for the first time and everyone in our company is in awe! The presentation is perfect, the taste is rich, flavorful and soft! Its just amazing! And of course I want to mention how attentive and nice the people working there. Specially to the Filipino guy who assisted my order, I forgot to take his name, but he is super! So as the delivery guy who made sure the cupcakes are in good shape. Thank you guys! We will order again for sure!

Ordered a brownie, a cheesecake and a full black forest cake. Very disappointed in the taste and size of cheesecake. Doesn’t taste like a cheesecake at all. And the black forest cake was so ordinary. I recommend Spinneys Black forest. Yummy and awesome cherries and moist.

Let me start by saying this that me and my family LOVE brownie point cakes and always order from them for all our special occasions. However, today was an absolute unpleasant experience! The two black forest pastries we picked up from the shop today evening tasted really bad - there was a lingering taste and smell of paint in their cake/frosting. Not sure if the current renovations at the shop is to be blamed for this but y'all need to find a way to ensure this doesn't happen to other customers in the future.

Completely dissatisfied. Messed up my son's bday celebration.placed an order for customised cake which was not delivered and when called found that the the person who took the order entered a wrong delivery date. To the solution the team then just made a cake and gave which was not up to the standards at all.and was falling all apart.
A complete mess up. Not expected from a well known name as Brownie point.

I ordered the sugar-free Chocolate walnut cake. I'm not a cake lover, but, this cake was something! Truly sugar-free (why I say truly because I know how confectioners label things as sugar-free but they're still 50% sugar) and still no compromise on taste or feel. Yummy!

I hadn't ordered any fancy shape but yet what I got was very elegant and a treat to the eyes as well! Highly recommend trying it at least once!

I ordered a cake with them recently but they did not deliver on the expected time this ruined a huge party, and i had to personaly follow up with the driver who told me he is just hired as Brownie point does not have drivers at the moment. Imagine guests leaving without eating the cake, felt so embarrassed.

I ordered a sugarfree fruit cake online for my friend's birthday and I get a call the next day saying "Sorry we do not have sugarfree in this flavor, I can give you sugarfree chocolate truffle cake instead". I dont like chocolate flavor so I asked them to give me a refund and they refused! They "plan" on giving me credit to use for a month at their store but what's the point? ! So there is no cake for my friends's birthday and AED 100 down the drain! If you do not have sugar free option in a particular flavor of cake then don't falsely post as though you do on your website!

Unfortunately 1 star is still a lot for these unprofessional bakers.

WORST CAKE SHOP.the owner is very rude and their cakes are also hopeless.

They are sweet talkers till u place the order but they show their color later. We told them several times that our daughter is allergic with milk, soya and corn. Still last day they told that they were incapable of making cake without soya as they didnt have right ingridreints. We had to deliver them vegan butter from our home as we had no option last minute.

The next day they delivered cake with price which was not agreed upon. When my husband called the owner, he started arguing and shouting at him. We paid with a 5 dhs tip for the owner Raj, as he is worth that only.

To add on, the cake is also hopeless. Wish we returned the cake back.

I ordered a tiramisu cake after seeing the review is like 4.2 and got real bad food poisoning after a piece, throw away almost the whole cake, horrible experience!

It was my first visit. I honestly couldn’t stand the rotten stale smell of the store. The staff is friendly and courteous. Tried two kinds of cake and they were ok. The cappuccino wasn’t good. The prices are reasonable.

After reading few reviews We went there to get a cake for our little one’s birthday. I found that to be one of the worst cake I ever had in UAE. Tasteless and Undoubtedly they have used cheap ingredients. A simple cake/pastry brought at any supermarket would taste much much better. Also got few cupcakes and to my bad I found that also of cheap quality, not even worth of half amount. While ordering we requested the person to top the frosting of strawberry (showed him also one displayed cupcake), he said it will be ready in 5 minutes Same as the displayed one. When he returned with cupcakes we were surprised to see a different frosting (dark thick pink color instead light pink) when questioned that it’s not the same we ordered, he tried to fool saying this will also become same like displayed once it dries. We requested to take out the displayed one to compare with the one he prepared, he refused and said, he will check again inside. He is back in a jiff and said “If you want to change the top frosting now, it might not taste good. ” We didn’t want to argue, just left with the same cupcakes. Extremely disappointed. Literally they Spoiled my daughters birthday cake and cupcakes.

Found this amazing cake and dessert shop while walking through the road. As the name says, the place is filled with brownies. The display cakes immediately attracts you to buy. We bought Mango Cheesecake and Lotus Cheesecake. To be honest, I really loved both of them. The Mango Cheesecake came with real pieces of mangoes on the top. Lotus Cheesecake as always is my favourite and it was topped with Lotus biscuits. I definitely recommend this place for cakes and desserts.
