The staff were professional in handling my queries right away related to my brothers surgery. And when asked what was the status of the surgery, the staff was able to make calls quickly and got the answer i need. Very happy with the service provided. However, the call centre needs to be well aware of the updates when requested as they were not able to get the information i needed immediately.

Amazing experience, specially to be highlighted the extreme kindness and willingness from the staff to always go beyond, making you feel valued and well looked after. Smiles are seen in such abundance you almost forget you are at a hospital.
I'm Radiology department, receptionist and coordinator Anish, is such a warm hearted person. From the moment I arrived, distressed and in pain, he looked after me, assisted me in multiple ways, and made it possible for me to manage what I needed to do.
On a second instance when I came again, this time with a friend, my friend had to wait for me to undergo 2 MRIs which takes very long, he looked after my friend who was exhausted, while I was inside.
My Drs secretary Faye and Michelle were also very supportive and kind.
My experience in this hospital has been great thanks to people like Anish. Thank you so much.

We have visited Dr. Ed Ashtar for my wife. He is very experienced and excellent doctor. He listened us carefully and checked all reports. I visited the hospital because of the pain in my knee, I met the doctor and he was very professional and we had some tests and X-rays and we also had to check the magnetic resonance, and then the doctor decided to start in physiotherapy and I have already started it and I am still continuing with the wonderful Dr Neggin and I will not forget the wonderful Mario for arranging my appointments.
They are really very unique and I recommend them strongly

I went through ACL reconstruction/Meniscus repair surgery in Burjeel Hospital 2 months ago after my knee injury. Dr. Herve was my surgeon, and the experience was just perfect. He examined my knee, explained all the details of the operation and did the surgery, he recommended a great physiotherapist to recover after the procedure as well. I feel much better now and the knee comes back to normal state. I'm happy I chose Burjeel Hospital and Dr. Herve for my surgery! Nurses (thanks Maria too!) and staff were friendly too. Dr Firas Alhusban is a very cooperative and well-experienced doctor, and the hospital environment is welcoming and very organised, the staff are also cooperative.

Overall excellent experience in the hospital. I came here to treat my pain in the angle. Started with Dr. Andrew Foggit, who diagnosed immediately and started procedures one by one. He advised me for physiotherapy and landed at physiotherapist Mr. Azar. In the every first session itself I could feel the difference very well. He was so nice and kind, understand your situation and act accordingly. Very impressive.

I underwent physiotherapy sessions with Mr Azhar for the past 10 sessions. I must say that he has magic in his hands. He is an expert in physiotherapy. I am feeling a lot better than how I was when I started. He is very kind and courteous. I strongly recommend taking his appointment for physiotherapy sessions.

In July I underwent a hip replacement surgery at Burjeel Hospital Dubai under the care of Dr. Matthias Honl. The procedure went very well with minimal scaring and good recovery. I would like to thank Dr. Matthias and my physiotherapist Mary Grace Germino for their professional care and attention during and after the procedure. I highly recommend the Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery Dubai.

I was having ankle pain since 3 months, when I visited in Burjeel hospital Dubai in physiotherapy dept.with Dr. Azhar he gave me physiotherapy, it was very nice and affective. After some sessions my pain gone. Now I can run and do my daily activities without any pain. All thanks to Dr. Azhar the physiotherapist in Burjeel hospital for advanced surgery Dubai.

Dr. Nader explained the whole case in details, followed an easy to understand analytical method.

Good hospital but unfortunately appointments are very often changed or the patien has to wait up to 20 min after the given appointment to see the doctor.

I was referred to Burjeel hospital by one of my friends, as I was suffering from knee pain for almost a year. I consulted Dr. Tarabichi and was advised for Physiotherapy.

I am so glad that I got appointment with Mr. Azar Uddin, the Physiotherapist. He had initially explained my situation and advised how the sessions would be. He had taken me through different stretching exercises and knee strengthening exercises. He is a great personality, a friendly person with good knowledge and expertise in his area.

I can now confidently say that my knee is perfectly fine and I will be able to get back to my games.

I had a fantastic experience with physiotherapy, Dr, Zahar was very tentative and on time. He explained the medical condition and how to preform exercise in the correct way.

I’ve been visiting (Samana Syed) physiotherapist for nearly 3 months, had multiple injuries; feet neck shoulder and elbows and all was take care of.
Every time that i visit her and coming in with soreness she always fixes me and makes leaving with a big smile on my face.
In addition, unlike other physiotherapist who keeps you visiting them forever without any improvement.shes does always the best to heal you in the shortest period of time.

Brought my grandpa in as he had knee pain whilst on vacation. Burjeel offered the best and most professional service. The staff was helpful, caring and understanding. They expedited the insurance approval process for us too. Amazing team and hospital.

My daughter was injured when playing squash and had to be take to emergency as she was in tremendous pain. From the minute we arrived the staff took care of everything and made her feel at ease and took Xrays, etc. A special thanks to Mr. Abdulrahim the ER coordinator, the emergency doctor Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Amir who came leaving a match and his family to attend and the nurse Ms. Ruji. Thank you all for being there and for attending to my daughter so quickly.

I underwent surgery at the care of Dr. Erik Hohmann for a total rupture of the right bíceps distal tendon. Despite this being my first ever surgery, I understood that everything was clearly explained and meticulously prepared beforehand. I felt a genuine care for my case and my well being by all the staff at the hospital. Professor Dr. Erik Hohmann performed the surgery and in comparison to all the other cases I have researched online, I already have full range of motion and I find myself at a much better stage in my recovery with only 3 weeks post op than other people in their 3rd month. I am extremely happy and grateful to everyone at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, and I truly feel blessed that fate has placed in the hands of such great and responsible professionals.

Physiotherapy at burjeel with Dr. Samana was an experience beyond expectations. I had been carrying heel pain for past 2 years, had multiple physiotherapy and shockwave therapy sessions with other therapists, relief was just temporary.

Sessions with Dr. Samana were fortunate for me where I was able to understand the nature of my heel pain and going forward what I should be doing to manage it. Throughout the sessions, she was constantly following up on my exercise routine and really pushed me to get out of my non-exercising comfort zone.

I would highly recommend Dr. Samana to others without any hesitation.

Meda who listened patiently and explained in detail to nurse Yessa who ensured that we are taken care of to the radiology attendant Prabhakar who coordinated with the nurse and Porter and went the extra mile, to the Porter himself Rafiq - all were super helpful and attended to every need even without asking

My experience with Dr. KP has been absolutely wonderful. I went in for a hardware removal on my foot and as a skilled surgeon the whole procedure was almost painless and with minimal downtime. What sets dr. KP apart tough is his human touch and being trauma-informed. He immediately understood what I needed to feel comfortable after a traumatizing experience at a different hospital and acted accordingly without hesitation.

Dr. Zeina is a very knowledgeable anesthesiologist and took the time to consult with me before the surgery where we opted to proceed with a spinal anesthesia rather than a full one. She went beyond her duty and stayed by my side for 2h distracting me from the surgery and explaining what’s going on which was priceless in my situation.

Nurse Yessa is the glue of the team and always making sure to be with you every step of the way for the tests and appointments needed before/after the surgery as well as on the big day itself. It’s quite reassuring to have a stable presence who also knows your file inside out and able to support as needed.

If you’re looking for a place where you’re in the driving seat of your care and treated with compassion and empathy, rather than being a patient at the mercy of the doctors, this is it!

I have been availing physiotherapy services at Burjeel Dubai since 2017. I must say that Ms Tampheibema is one of the best you can come across. She had been instrumental in me recouping my health after going through ACL surgery in my left knee. She is extremely good at her work. Had a shoulder operation with Dr Machani just before Christmas. He dropped everything to fit in the surgeon. 9 weeks since op and shoulder is in great shape and the healing process has been helped along with help from the new physio, Richard. Awsome team. Recommend

I have had a couple of operations with Burjeel. Both went well and I have been incredibly impressed with the physio team. In particular the Irish lad called Richard James.

First off he is very knowledgable and approachable. The improvement in my shoulder and elbow has been fantastic. His methods and explanations of what he is aiming for are very user friendly and ultimately very effective.

I Am very grateful for what he is achieving with me as I’m the type of person that needs to see improvement ASAP and that has certainly been the case with Richard.

I hope he is making as big an impression with other clients as he has with me.

I was very pleased with the team approach that I received from Burjeel hospital from the surgeon (Dr Machani), the physiotherapist (Blair) and Asst. Operations Mgr (Amit). The service in my case on my hand began with the pre-operative meeting with the surgeon and anesthesiologist through the operation, the post operative treatment and physio therapy. When there were issues with my insurance, the Asst. Operations Manager worked with them to clarify matter to permit care to proceed uninterrupted.

This is an genuine case. I have had quite an issue with the cartridge of my left shoulder and have undergone 15 physiotherapy sessions with Dr Richard (physiotherapist). The pain was so deep and bad that i didnt think it would ever heal without surgery. I am obliged to say that Dr Richard have really worked on my shoulder with utmost loyalty over a number of months. It is clearly evident that he is very experienced and super qualified. I am forever grateful to him for giving me his full dedication to have me up on my shoulders again, especially that i work out several hours everyday (except Friday) and i need to perform.

I sincerely thank him and am obliged to recommend him with pleasure.

I had a shoulder operation 4 weeks ago with Dr. Harold Vanderschmidt- The whole process was very quick, stress free and really happy with the outcome.

I am using Richard (physiotherapist), who is also based at Burjeel. It has only been a few weeks, and feel I have progressed far more than I would have with a non specialist physio. Have had constant support, and plan to use Richard as a PT after the recommended physiotherapy.

I have already recommended Harold/Richard to a colleague who has had a similar trauma.

I would thoroughly recommend Richard in the Physiotherapy department. I had been struggling with shoulder problems for a few months and after just one 45 minute session with him I felt an immediate improvement. His extensive experience meant he was able to quickly diagnose my issues and his excellent treatment got me on the road to recovery quicker than I’d dreamed of. His sessions are 45 minutes long, meaning there’s plenty of time for treatment and ongoing rehabilitation. 100% recommended.

كان لأمي موعد واحضرتها قبل الموعد بعشرة دقائق حتى يتسنى لنا الدخول على الوقت المحدد، وادخلوناعلى الدكتور بعدها بساعة. والموضوع الثاني، لقد قرر الدكتور ماثيوسان ان يحول امي لعمل علاج طبيعي، ومرت عشرة أيام ولم يتواصل أحد من المستشفى عن المستجدات، وبعد هذه المدة اتصلت ولا يعرف الموظف لماذا التأخير وقال سوف اتصل بك لاحقا ولم يتصل، وعاودت الاتصال بعدها بيومين وكنت غاضبة جدا وأخبرني الموظف انه سيتم الرد عليك بشكل مستعجل، وبعدها بيوم وصلت رسالة تفيد بموافقة شركة التأمينات على العلاج. اين هم هذه الفترة. الطبيب ممتاز لكن خدم العملاء سيئة جدا جدا

I'm doing phisiotherapy there with Richard and FINALLY! I find a good phisio using modern techniques for recuperation. I was fed up of ultrasound/heat/cold/stimulation when it was not required. My problem is getting much better very fast while continuing playing squash.

I would avoid this hospital at all costs, i picked up a bacteria infection during a procedure there, the bacteria was resistant to all anti biotics, this resulted in a soft tissue and bone infection, the Dr's i dealt with were cluless and this resulted in me spending a number of weeks receiving treatment in another hospital, i didn't even receive an apology from the hospital.

Burjeel Hospital is the leading hospital for orthopedic care. I had a good experience getting treated by Dr. Martin Lee for cervical spondylosis by teaching the right postural exercises. Thank you Burjeel hospital.

Terrible in timing and appointments accuracy. No respect for patients time.
We should wait 30-40 mins or even 50 mins sometimes to see the doctor though we have appointment

Better late than never, be CAUTIOUS if you think of going under surgery with Dr. Harold Vanderschmidt. My experience was a complete failure not only said by me and my condition but also 3 recognize orthopedics abroad.

I consulted Dr. Rohit kumar for varicose veins and have undergone a laser treatment for the same. I liked the way he took interest in explaining and educating me abt the procedure and things to do and not to do after the procedure. The best thing about him is he is very accommodating and understanding. We feel like telling all the medical problems to him and expect to get a genuine feedback. He gives a lot of confidence and positivity before the surgery
