Café Bateel - Dubai Mall بتيل

I’m a loyal customer to bateel in UAE and KSA since years back. The replacement of a well-known dates budding to be three assorted dish was really a negative for your signature sweet. The new dish isn’t the best though, comparing the to your old history signature budding. Increase the price but please return it back.

Been here a few times. Always been satisfied with the overall service, especially Ayoub.
He has been consistent in his service performance and professionalism every time I visit.
He puts in effort to remember a frequent customer’s preference which is rare nowadays.
I have been bringing my friends to this outlet, not only the good service, there is a good view too.

Convenient place for fast coffee meetings just at the entrance of Dubai Mall.i used to come here for that reason mostly.

We only had drinks in the day I chose to write the review.
Why we will not come back? The service!
Waiting long for our order to be taken.
Same story waiting long for the bill.
Tea delivered without sugar/honey or asked if we want some.
When asked for some tissues waiter did not even looked at us and literally throw them on the table. I am talking here about the lady waiter that was attending us today.

Will I be back? For sure not!
Will I recommend it? For sure not!

Café Bateel is one of the best Arabic cafés
Their use of date flavor in the halva is great

They have two types of coffee, Saudi and Emirati. Saudi coffee is delicious and served with dates
They have a new date pudding dessert that is very delicious and worth a try
Outdoor seating opposite Burj Khalifa is very nice during times other than the weekend due to the inconvenience of cars on the adjacent road and the long waiting time.
And indoors at the famous hanging fountain

The outdoor session is very worth the wait

Love this place for breakfast or lunch! Great atmosphere, always nice service and tasty food! Thank you guys!

We came here for a quick drink while walking through the Dubai Mall. Very nice ambiance right next to the spectacular waterfall. Very open and feels like you are outside even though you are indoors. The service was great and the drinks we got were amazing.

I am taking away 1 star however for the security bothering us. My wife wanted a picture with the waterfall as a background.we went to the railing in the corner, far from everyone else, and i wanted to do a few quick pictures. She took off her facemask just for 10 seconds for the pictures.by the time i took out my phone and took 1 picture, a security guard came to us and said for her to put her mask on. We told him it's just 1 picture and there are no people around us, it was literally in a corner. He didnt care and rudely kept telling us she must have it on. I dont know if its the malls security or the cafes, but since this happened to us in the cafe ill take out 1 star.

Pretty good cafe in the Dubai Mall with outdoor sittings with Burj Khalifa view.
The tea was nice, refreshing and a little bit spicy.
The service wasn't great, I expected half an hour for a tea.
The view makes you feel better and that's why it's 4/5 stars!

Amazing place for snacks and sweets. Their sandwiches are so amazing and their desserts are mouthwatering. Try out there sauces and their coffee and tea. You will love it.

Food is indeed good but prices are exorbitant & portions are small. They must reduce the prices and increase the portions, which will encourage their clients to visit often.

I used to like this restaurant, I went on Saturday for lunch but this is last time I go there! It changed a lot, maybe their system or management and staff, the service is slow, And top of that I get food poisoned and till now my stomach is in pain. So be careful with their food.

I loved the restaurant so much friendly staff and the food so delicious and the coffee special.
They have good selection of sweets and drinks
If you see it expansive because the food is fresh and delicious also you can use entertainer app to get one by one main course.
But the view not that much good.

ممكن يكون غالي شوية و لكن يستحق التجربة و ممكن تستخدم برنامج انترتينير للحصول علي وجبتين بسعر واحدة
المكان مش مميز مجرد شلال مياه بجانبك

Very impressive. All desserts seem nice (of course I didn't try them all) The view of the fountain is also great. Many dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Arabic coffee and juices as well.

Good place to try local teas and coffees. Both are house specials, so you won’t go wrong with them.

Slow service and I have a tomato allergy and they serve me sandwich without tomato and I had to call the manager to tell him that there is clearly tomato inside. First time here and won't be back

Wir waren am silvester dort. Pro person 250 dolar. Hinterste ecke. Manager war sehr freundlich aber mitarbeiter total lahm. Besser gesagt der, der uns bediente. Wir müssten alles 3 fach sagen bis wir es bekamen.

My wife bought some date there was issue on quality when we go back to shop they refused to change them aa date was packed individually in each plastick blister

Found a hair in the salad and the waitress didn’t even bother to apologise. Disgusting and rude staff.
I’ve generally had good experiences in Bateel and the food is great, but this time was enough to never go back again!

Overpriced menus. Their soup is very salty as if their chefs making them were not trianed. They have a very poor customer service. Shun this restaurant.

مكان جميل ورائع وهادئ على صوت الماء. جميل لدعوه صديق او اي شخص عزيز. يمكن تناول ألذ الحلويات مع قهوه عربية. والأسعار ف متناول الجميع

Bad experience unfortunately. Service is slow and I had to repeat my order twice. I look around for some attention but it is never there. Arabic coffee was tasteless because of too much water and less coffee. No Arabic coffee serving etiquette. I requested the check and still waiting. Got forgotten again. Not coming back again.

Café Bateel is a favourite stopping off point for me when I'm in Dubai Mall. The café is in a good location and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I visited early evening and there were a few people eating. I ordered the tenderloin ciabatta and my favourite Madagascan Dark Chocolate Cake with ice cream for dessert. They were both delicious.

The food is ok, nothing really stands out nor is the quantity that sufficient to justify the hight cost

I always come for the breakfast. A good selection of breakfasts in this restaurant with great view. Juliet was an amazing waitress. Thank you

رحت لهم ٣ ايام ورى بعض بس عشان الفواندان لذذذذذيذ لذذذذيذ ماشاء الله ومتوفر عندهم للكافي حليب جوز الهند وطاقم العمل جداً ودود خصوصا الشخص المصري وجوان

Good food as usual. Although staff needs to be fast enough to get hot meal on the table. We ordered belgian waffle which had gone cold m mushy by the time it came to our table. Had to to send it back.
This was the second episode with the same dish in the same venue.

كانت تجربة جميلة بدءً من الجلسة بجوار صوت الشلال ونقاء الجو ونهايةً بالقهوة السوداء اللذيذة والمميزة بتقديمها.

Poor service the waiters were fighting with each othere in front of the customers and even one waiter a phillipino guy slammed some plates over the counter out of anger the order took ages to come

Even tho the Halloumi & Avocado Bruschetta is one of a kind i really recommend you to try it, the service was horrible! I had to wait 30 minutes just to get s menu! The service is really a disappointment.

Cafe ambiance is good with a good view of waterfall. Qahwa arabic coffee with sokari dates is a good try.

Great place to have a coffee and a delicious dessert special during the sunset where the weather is great.i recommend there new date pudding as a dessert it’s delicious

This is the leading Cafe have ever visited in Dubai, how we have been visiting different places in dining stuff but I will award bateel as my with health food. What of you on your side,

ドバイモールの中にある滝に隣接しており、水の音、眺めに癒やされます。またアメリカンコーヒーを頼んだところ、ポットで２杯ぶんでてきて（約６００円）、お得です。味も美味しいです。ややエアコンが強くて少し寒かったです。
It is next to waterfall inside Dubai mall, hence I could enjoy the view and sound of water. America coffee (c.a. $6) came in pot, with good quantity, so value for money is also better than I expected. From outside, it looked more expensive. The air conditioning was a bit too strong, though.

Always nice! Amazing gluten free sandwich (similar to a club sandwich) and nice coffee. Staff are all nice and welcoming as well as professional. The view towards the indoors waterfall is breathtaking. Nice sitting area and great location in the Dubai Mall - Lower Ground.

The shop is the Dubai mall in front of the fountain making it convenient for everyone.

They do serve Lebanese, pastas, varieties of tea, desserts, shakes.

We ordered dates shake and dates sundae. The date shakes is delicious and the best. It had a shot of expresso with vanilla icecream and dates.

The dates sundae had warm dates balls in icecream.

Must try dates shake.
