Amazing food and service. Sainuddin served us today for lunch and was so polite and friendly and helped us pick some good food options.we really enjoyed the food and the service.

I recently visited Paragon and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was charming and inviting, with warm lighting and tasteful decor. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff Sainudeen who made me feel right at home.

As for the food, it was simply outstanding. I started with the soup which was bursting with flavor and perfectly portioned. For my main course, I tried the fish pollichatu and it was cooked to perfection, with all the flavors blending together beautifully. The dessert was the perfect way to end the meal, with decadent flavors that left me wanting more.

Overall, I would highly recommend Paragon to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and inviting ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone in search of a top-notch restaurant. I cannot wait to return and try more of their delectable offerings. You paid a bit over the odds.

A must visit place if you are looking for typical South Indian keralite food. Waiter sinudeen made sure the service was on point. He kept clearing plates soon as we were finished eating. So all over the best place to have food

This restaurant offers one amoung the best kerala biryani here in UAE. This place ia mostly crowded. You may have to wait for 10 to 20 mints for getting a seat on weekends.

Restaurant is good, but guys be cautios while booking partyhall. The managers there are very crooked. I initially booked partyhall for some 50 plus members and actual count I finalised is 35 to 38 for food preparation. The management behaved very cheap in preparing food only for half of the count to compensate their loss and failed to refill on time and they denied to refill starters.
There is lot of taste difference when compared to having in Restaurant, the fish starter was very salty. They have spoiled our party when it came to food.
But partyhall was good which was the only positive thing I experienced.

It's a good restaurant but not that budget-friendly my fav dish was the beef roast it's the best I guess for most of us.overall it's a good restaurant and hygienic too

Good for family dining. The taste of Fish tawa requires improvement as it used to be delicious before.

Waiting outside for a food is the worst thing we faced.food was average.i felt Malabar restaurant near it was far better.

Anyone who goes there will know why 5 star. Such a wonderful restaurant with polite staff, and super quality food. Always busy makes how popular they are.

This Kerala restaurant was started in 1934 but they have not lost the shine. We usually come here for breakfast and everything is always as it should be. The portions are generous and here is a review of what we've tried so far.over time:
- Nadan chicken curry: its ust like the traditional curry we make at home.
- Thattu dosas: are soft fluffy, thick and it's 4 to a plate; order this only if you are hungry.
- Egg roast: good
- Fish curry: good
- Appams: delicious
- Chicken stew: excellent and unbelievable with the appams.
- Chutney condiments: OK, the red one is actually quite good.
- Sambar: excellent
- Puri-baji: Puris are good but the baji is a little runny for me but tasty none-the-less
- Nice Pathiri: This is now my favourite "roti" of all time. Soft, fluffy, no oil, like an excellent chapati but made of rice and a must try.
- Service: always on point. The service staff we've dealt with were knowledgeable about the dishes served and always friendly.

This restaurant is a feather in the cap of Keralite cuisine.

Calicut Paragon- best place to experience a Onam Sadhya, enjoyed a whole meal with 32 dishes and traditional style and galore.

Delicious food, Large dining space, Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Price bit high. But quality food. Take away and free home delivery options available. Parking spaces available opposite the restaurant.

Good kerala style paratta (south indian bread from common flour) and appam (made from fresh rice batter). Beef chilly fry (spicy), Keralites love it and veg option gopi manchurian (half indian- half chinese) its cauliflower manchurian was good also. Weekends are packed so plan for a waiting period of 10-15 mins. Good service. Next time will try Fish pollichathu (fish covered with spices and foiled in banana leaf and half fry and half steamed. (Its definitely a try out- look for bigger fishes to avoid thorns).

The ambience was great, the waitor could have done a better job by describing the content of the food. Ordered a watermelon frappe because he said " athu kollam ". Not only i lost money but I ended up having abdominal issues. Same with " pothi biriyani ".
You can improve the quality of service by improving the accuracy of menu and waitors

Last friday evening we visited Alnadha branch Dxb. It is not a pocket friendly restaurant. BeefRoast. 26.50 porata. 2.75 per pc. Food also not up to the mark. Staffs are not friendly.

Delicious food, wen ever I visit paragon I always eat chicken biryani, me and my wife just love it. Very neat and nice place, excellent services by staffs

Its not worth it. Taste of the food is not up to the mark. Had bad experience recently. Dont want to suggest anyone to this hotel…

Other than their Delicious food, welcoming ambience and superior quality of service, I'm even more delighted by their professionalism and support for solving any and all issues.

Had a small issue with my delivery order, where I was overcharged and the order was missing. Within just 30 minutes of informing them, they had prepared a new order already and was ever willing to help the customer out with a smile.

Nice place to have kerala dishes. Awesome dishes.we ordered Appam, kerala porotta, chicken varattiyath, mutton varattiyath, fried rice.and bbq chicken as starter.all were very good.
Ambience also very nice. Overall we liked the place.and is a nice place to have a gettogether with family n friends

The food is great over here! They even follow almost all the safety rules. I just request the restaurant to be a bit more sanitary, check temperature before the customers enter the restaurant and ensure that all staff wear the mask properly. Social distancing rules were maintained.

Well organized spacious dining area. Staffs are well trained. Service is extremely appreciable.
Weekends are usually crowded for lunch and dinner. Minimum 15 minutes waiting is expected even with such vast dining area.
Price is also as premium as the food…

Yesterday myself and friends had Iftar in Al Nahda branch. It was my worst Iftar all the time. And the pricing is another joke.
I don’t know how come they charge these much for a simple snack?
4 types of snacks for 5 pieces of each and 5 watermelon juice they charged 170 Dirhams

Food is great, worth for every penny we pay. Super crowded during weekend evenings. Ambiance is not that great.

On weekends it really crowed so expect a wait, hence plan your visit. They have enough South Indian food choices and food is good quality but price is a little high. My personal favourite dish our the Kerala meals

Good place for trying out authentic kerala dishes. Place is a bit busy in the evening during weekend.

You can’t go wrong in choosing to dine from Paragon. “Paragon Quality” is expected and delivered.

Dining area is spacious, service is attentive and leaves no complaint. Menu is typical Kerala-cuisine with bits of Chinese and Continental offered.

Most people are at Paragon for any of these three dishes - Chicken Biriyani, Fish Mango Curry and Vellappam (or Vellayappam for few), Lunch Meals (Fish Curry). Paragon has a notorious reputation and fan following for these combinations.

My personal favourite and a strong recommendation is the Fish Mango Curry with Vellappam or Kerala Porotta (please do justice to this curry by ordering the Maida Porotta and not the Wheat one), Chicken Dry Fry with Flakes of Coconut sprinkled, finished with chilled Elaneer Payasam or Pudding (if Payasam is not available).

Rest of the menu is also equally good, and by “equal” in Paragon-terms means exceptional!

We have had their Porottas, Beef Pepper, a really spicy Chicken Curry (which I guess is the Kanthari Chicken Curry), Veg Kadai and few other dishes which I don’t remember. All were good.

Prices are reasonable and the experience will leave you more than satisfied.

Recommended for family/friends dining. Solo would do as well, but I’d suggest dishes as great as these are better enjoyed in company.

Went with high hopes for breakfast at Calicut Paragon Al Nahda branch. Total disaster and bad experience. The service is too slow.u have to wait a good long time for your order to be delivered.
Secondly, serving good with bare hands (not ordered by us), someone ordered wada and we saw the server using bare hands and pick up the Wada and keep it in the plate.totally not acceptable.

Thirdly, did not quiet understand when i told him i want dip idli sambar the answer was dip idli sambar was not available but idli sambar served separately was available. Can anyone tell me why as i am not sure why?

Moving to the next, we ordered puri bhaji, and the potato in the bhaji was half cooked. One of us ordered ghee roast, never had ghee roast which is soft and soggy.actually the whole dream of having sumptuous breakfast was ruined.

Anyways this was the first and last visit to this branch. We have earlier visited the Karama branch which with its fulĺ capacity too was good in the service. Hope they have not deteriorated their quality and service.

This was our first time visit based on the recommendation from a friend, but honestly it was a big disaster and disappointment. Starting with the order being placed it took ages for our order to come by. A family of two who came in after us got their dishes before us. Coming back to our table we had ordered puttu and kadala, poori bhaji (potatoes in the bhaji were half cooked) appam and egg roast. All tasted ok, nothing out of the world. Then we ordered for idli dip, which they did not have but idli and sambar separately, funny. The ghee roast ordered was thick and kinda soggy. Finally our daughter wanted vada which anyways was over and was nor being made fresh but previously made heated and being doled out. What put me off was the fact they took the vadas with their bare hands as if this hotel had a dearth of tongs. Finally off to the washroom to wash my hands and the male washroom was devoid of any tissue rolls in both the dispensers. The final damage for the entire ordeal was AED 85.
Horrible experience all in all.never returning to this venue in future.

Mother of authentic malabar cousin in Dubai.a trend setter, rest all malabar restaurants are simply followers from my experience.it's a branch of Calicut Pragon restaurant in Karama.

U see ambience is good spacious.service is good.portions not so good.its ok.and little bit expensive as ck.pared to other restaurants.food in terms of taste is good.

This place has amazing Keralite food. I have tried everything from thier fresh and Crispy parottas, to their well rounded appams. Their curries are top notch too, pepper chicken and chicken stew are my favorite. They have amazing mocktails too. Service is quick and prices are reasonable.

Great Kerala cuisine with wide varieties of non veg fusion food. You can get yummy pickles (particularly non veg) made in-house. Evening snacks are must try, but mostly north Kerala style.

Good Kerala food. Especially their fish mango Curry and appam. They are famous for their biriyani as well

I need to put my review only about one dish which i had last Friday, Grilled Beef biriyani
It was really expensive dish in terms of Biriyani
AED 25 I spend and that was one of the main attraction of that day.
But I was totally disappointed, it was the worst beef Biriyani I have ever had in my Life.
I would like to recommend others not to try that dish by any chance

Apart from typical keralite food i love the drink 'fruit fire' made of passion fruit, orange, ginger, lemon, crushed ice, sugar and finally grounded red chilly which is simply superb. We revisited on 10Oct, but disappointed to hear they couldnt serve any type of mutton dishes.cost is definitely above par considering delay in serving and air conditioning but overall we would still revisit

Very reputed restaurant chain of South India (Kerala) with multiple outlets in UAE. This outlet has only muncipality paid parking which is free on Fridays and public holidays. Very spacious and good for occassions. Bit expensive in pricing though food is good. I had Lagoon Pothi biriyani today (wrapped in banana leaf) and taste was just ok.

Food is great service a little lacking during rush hours.

Very nice place for South Indian food. Beef ulartiyathu, fish curry, pathiri, porotta is kind of must try items. This place is commonly known for biriyani, but I think we can find better biriyani in town.

Those who love spicy foods, they should try calcium paragon. Normally I don't like sea foods but after eating in calicut paragon, I started liking sea food. I believe their speciality is in sea food. Whenever I go there, I take tawa fry or masala fry. Good ambient and taste
