I forget my phone in one of careem car. I offered the driver to return the phone and I will pay him his journey cost. He refused in rude manner. The Careem help center reply back the next day at 2: 55 pm, telling me that I have to go to the supply office which will close at 3: 00 pm. There is no phone to contact, no live chat. Careem is not a professional organization, and I will switch to Uber from now on.

I am a loyal careem customer since many years.most of the time things are fantastic ad not issues.when things go wrong they go wrong spectacularly but assurances from staff and management seem to solve the problem for a while then it repeats. However I have had the same issue 2 days running and the management and system are not doing what they promise to do. It seems that they have grown and now don't consistently care of the service they offer. Even after being reassured that the same thing will not occur again.

I feel their words do not match and frankly i believe their apologies and acceptance of responsibility of consequences of their failures is all down to money - they do whatevr is needed as long as it does not cost them anything.

I only get more frustrated about this company and the over charges they are making on their customers. It’s simply impossible to contact them by phone number. And drivers are always smelling bad and behaving badly towards customers ignoring us on the street and simple negating taking our rides if is near. What taxi company behaves like this?

Unfortunately the calibre of drivers at Careem has really gone downhill.

Some can barely speak English, some on the app it says two minutes, but when I call the captain he says he’s 10 minutes away, I have been dropped off at a wrong location… one driver was so dangerous with his driving it made me feel sick, the latest is where they charged me the full fare when I cancelled the ride, yet they didn’t make me aware of the cancellation charges beforehand.

I am disappointed more and more with Careem. It used to be good, and I have been in Dubai for many years to see Careem’s standards really dropping to a low.

Booked careem driver going to the airport 21.11.2023 which was about 10-20 mins drive and estimated fare of max 30.00 aed however upon checking he charged me 114.50aed around 90 minutes of travel. Reported it immediately to careem app however till today 27.12.202 no refund was made.

My sister sent me a card with careem bike from the airport and so far I didn’t receive anything since 8: 00 AM in the morning, the customer service said they will check with the driver that he said his bike is broken and gave it to someone else and so far I didn’t get any update please it’s a card for my bank account I need someone to assist

My experiences with Careem have been consistently disappointing. On three occasions, my wife faced drivers who not only took wrong routes but also failed to follow the map. We were unfairly charged for the extra distance caused by their incompetence. This is also a safety concern as well. Moreover, the customer service provided very little support in resolving these issues. Adding to the frustration, some drivers used foul language in their mother tongues, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere during rides. Overall, my interactions with Careem have left me thoroughly dissatisfied with their service.

Today morning I booked a careem & 2 taxis arrived, 1 I paid for in advance 65 dhs and 1 by mistake due to tech error from careem side. I went to the wrong 1 by mistake cuz he called me first & the second came fast and called me saying no ma’am no wrong taxi, then the right driver came to talk to the wrong taxi, which didn’t even drive 1 step from where he picked me up, he JUST pressed the meter. As soon as the wrong taxi saw the other taxi driver he got angry and started shouting at him because he knew the ride will be cancelled and I said sorry I will not pay because I booked this taxi and paid 65 dhs in advance, he stated shouting at me then eventually blocked the other taxi from being able to leave so I can pay him for opening the meter and he said how come I have your name & number, I said maybe it’s a mistake but I already paid for this taxi and it’s only one showing on the app and he kept shouting, I said I will call the police, he was so rude and in the industrial area. Why should I pay if I already paid 65 dhs & it’s not my mistake. Careem should pay him. And his behavior & attitude was so reckless and dangerous. I complained to careem from the morning and till now I got no feedback or direct call back from anyone regarding this behavior. Total disregard and such disgusting behavior towards a female passenger over such a small and stupid mistake. I don’t understand how careem can accept female or potentially any other passenger to be in such situation where it can get dangerous because driver has anger problem and doesn’t know how to call his management or careem over a stupid mistake.

No Customer Care nor Support! Due to a Systems issue - wrong code was applied. It is impossible to explain to the 'support' team as they don't listen to the customer and do not wish to assist! It is a simple thing that an agent called Reza (as he said) promised to resolve in 2 hours. But then, since they don't care about the customer and give false information and promises, they put me off with 'we will give you feedback in 24 to 48 hours'! HORRIBLE! And they refuse to connect me with a manager!

I am forced to even give a one star for their service if I can I would have not even given one star just zero for their service actually my son ordered a taxi and the driver arrived and within seconds the driver Just cancelled the drive and now my son is been charged for some thing that he has not cancelled by him self it was the captains decision to cancel and my son has to pay for it what a joke I recommend please don’t use the Careem service they are just not worth it. Even their customer service agent is so arrogant they just won’t help pathetic.

Support is really bad. Better stick or switch to UBER! My driver stated he arrived but did not. I tried to contact - nothing. I had enough evidence and screenshot - I canceled and paid the cancellation fee. When trying to waive the fee it turned out how bad the support is. Standard reply explaining me that once a driver arrived I have to pay, not understanding my case, not looking in evidences, not listening. I can only recommend to use UBER. Uber is always representing the end customer and really supportive and not just standard answers without any value.

I would like to complain about the my taxi trip from IMG Worlds of Adventure to Ain Dubai on 12/01/2023 at 7pm.
The driver did not switch on the GPS until halfway through the trip. I am sure he began the trip driving in the opposite direction.
I also speak urdu/hindi and I heard him say to a fellow driver that he would take a longer route and charge me more.
I paid 85AED for the trip.
Please advise whether this is the normal protocol.
Note: the same distance earlier that day cost me 63 AED.

This is the worst application ever. There is no one that you can contact whenever you are facing a problem and when you send them a message as this the only way to get help no one get back to you. The driver will cancel without informing as your worker hiding the company’s mistake and not helping us.

I book a ride and waiting for the captain to arrive at my location after waiting for a 45 minutes then I got a message which they charge me for the ride while am waiting for the driver and I call the driver and his says he drop me already the driver pick a wrong guy first time in Dubai I was so confused and complain in the app but still nothing happens they took my money never return
This guys need to go back to Shcool and learn the basic thing first the driver took the wrong guy second mistake happens but they have to make it right but in this case Careem keep quiet and take my money what a shame

The last experience with Careem made me think to stop using their service at all! I'm in Dubai for about 7 years and use taxi quite often and even left tips for captains.

On 13 October, I ordered taxi from Zulekha hospital (Al Nahda) to Garhoud hospital at about 4: 45 pm and they charged me 80 aed! Though in the same day I used their service only in the opposite direction and trip cost 35 aed only!
I had been waiting for the taxi driver about 30 minutes! There was no traffic in that area, it's a lie! I had been walking a long distance in that area before the order and after captain arrived all the roads were still totally free.

The driver Umar Farooq was very friendly and arrived on his personal car! Without meter and camera in the car!? ! Probably he started the meter when I ordered the taxi and waiting for him, I don't know.

The receipt details: starting 10.60, distance 26.82, waiting 3.90, peak surcharge 28.92, Dubai surcharge 5.00, Tollgate 4.00. Total 79.24 aed? !

Some other night on 9 February, at 5: 30 pm in peak hour! I ordered Careem economy class from Expo Centre in other Emirate Sharjah! To the same location Garhoud hospital, also 10km and they charged me less - 60 aed only!

Their helpline center is helpless, unprofessional and they don't care about customers, they just keep saying about peak hours, but it's a lie!

Careem is very convenient and trust worthy application.if you feel that you got charged unfair contact careem bike or taxi you will get more details.i think they should have more option on their website for call center number so that the customers can be able to clarify on charges that they felt were charged unfairly.

When I call him from another number as office staff he told me that he gives to workers on the road coz we didn’t answer his call.

Being a hotelier needs to book lots of Cabs every day. I also use Careem App to book a Cab to my guest. Several times I have been noticing a guy from Careem call center, he is Usman. I don’t know how many calls I made in my carrier to them however Usman is so different than others as well, special caretaker. Stay safe & Blessed.

Service quality is deteriorating rather quickly. Called for taxi thru the app.

My mother and I had a horrific time. Driver was on his phone watching videos, swerving, tail gating, swearing at other drivers. Very reckless.

Our bill was over 80 dhs as it was a long journey. When I disputed the claim TWICE to Careem, they just responded by saying, "We've taken action against the driver. "

Punishment does NOT help the customer. When you put lives at risk, a much bigger and logical compensation is required.

The right thing to do would've been to waive all charges. But no, greed has no limits. Right Careem?

You need to teach your drivers how to drive and manners as well. Driver reversed to park in a Drop off area and nearly hit my car. Didnt even give me enough time to reverse and give him space. He then continued to shout infront of people and his passenger saying it was not his fault? !? ! Way to go, doing this in the airport during Expo showing a bad image of dubai. It is extremely disappointing for delivering a package just because of the wrong pin and even though the pick up guy already informed the exact address and it was only 10 - 15 minutes when my friend collected the package and whatsapp me they still charged me ridiculous amount that they didn’t even informed. Though they charge a premium for their service, they are incredibly unprofessional and do not adhere to the pre-booked schedule. I tried to book a car, they said that you have to find another car and didn't work, so I received a message that they used 40 dirhams. Moreover, whenever I book they take 40 dirhams immediately, without knowing the amount that will be among my ride.i can't find anyway to contacy anyone in the app, i tried calling the head office, the call wendlt off after they saifld tahy you can use the app instead of a phone call. We ordered food at 9: 45am and at 10: 33 we gave the rider a call asking him why does it say on the application its delivered and it is not actually with us. He said i waiting for you for 5 minutes but my company told me to give back the food and leave. He did not call us or even come outside our warehouse. What kind of a service is this? Terrible service. The absolute lack of professionalism of the technical support staff.
Under no circumstances use the services of this company to call a taxi. When ordering, the cost of the ride was AED 100, when the ride was completed, the cost suddenly rose to AED 430. The bank did not allow them to debit the amount from my card and blocked the transaction. And Careem, in turn, blocked the use of their application until I paid them this amount.

I have booked caream car from PWD Society to New Islamabad Airport on 27th July 2021 and a vehicle # AMT 871, captain Mr. Noman Q was engaged, but after running some kilometers the vehicle had a problem and we were unable to continue our travel. The captain told that he not able to remove the fault and you are arrange other vechle/taxi and I have cancelled you ride. However I have missed my flight and adjusted in next flight by paying the extra amount, who will pay that amount?

secondly, my caream wallet debited Rs: 86/= Why? Whereas ride has been cancelled by the captain himself.

please settle my both issues at your earliest.your early action will be highly appreciated.

I am a resident of Islamabad and used to drive careem car in Islamabad but later my account was suspended I confess that there must be some drawbacks at my end but with deep respect I humbly request you to restore My ID and give me a final chance so that I can continue to sustain my family livelihood.

They took 100 dirhams extra because of some small print trick, the guy on the phone knew immediately what our problem was as he clearly spends the entire day dealing with these complaints.

I definitely do not recommend anyone enters their card details with this company.

I entered the wrong drop off location by mistake. However the captain dropped me to the right location without asking me for any extra amount despite the trip was already ended and the right location was 10 mins far away.
I did however pay him extra amount happily which he was refusing to accept at the first place. Such a gentleman.
Captain was also very kind to help me with my luggage and his car was super clean too.
Had an awesome experience with Careem. Keep it up

It said the ride would be 20-22 AED and yet it charched me 26. The driver didnt have change, so he gave back the change on my Careem account and since ill be using Uber next time, I wouldnt be getting my change. Also, it said theres a new used promo code and I tried it and it did not work.

Been complaining few times about my trips with different drivers. They never sold the problem or refunded anything - very unprofessional. Uber is a bit better than Careem in Dubai. I was in UAE for 12 days and uset Careem 13 trips and Uber 15 trips. I would probably use Uber next time.

This is very bad experience that Careem never care thier Captains. The company only listen only one side that is customer not of Captain. Without any reason the company block ID only knowing one side mean customer information not of Captains. The company have to know that captains are working for many year and having Good ratings. Total Fraud, due to circumstances unknown they charged me twice.
One payment online and the other by cash claiming I had ordered 2 rides what a joke of a company. Am deleting your app and will never book from you again, You basically using our info to fraud. Worst of all there is no direct contact for complaints:

The driver maybe pretends that something is wrong with the booking and collects the fare in cash, then the amount is also debited from your card. Wow so you end up paying twice. The customer care does not exist, as I complained 3 times and no answer at all. Something has to be done to this company.

Expensive and unprofessional drivers. I gave it several tries and each time I get a ride with Careem I regret it. I do not recommend it at all!

I am a film producer from the US. The driver cancelled my booking and took my money. I will never use this service again - I will boycott the company and make sure all of my contacts do the same.
