Frustration and Inconsistencies with Carefour Online Delivery Service

My recent encounters with Carefour's online delivery service have left me utterly dissatisfied. This platform's approach to handling orders, especially those with promotional items, has been nothing short of a frustrating ordeal. On multiple occasions, I've fallen victim to a bait-and-switch tactic where items on offer mysteriously vanish from my order during delivery without any prior notification. The most exasperating part? The payment for these missing items is inexplicably withheld for an agonizing seven days before a refund is processed.

Furthermore, their handling of discount coupons and available stock is perplexing and immensely infuriating. Despite items appearing available and in stock during order placement, especially when combined with discounts, these same items magically transform into "Out of Stock" during delivery. If an item is genuinely unavailable, why tease customers by displaying it on the online store? This inconsistency is utterly baffling.

One incident particularly stands out: placing an order at noon for an item displayed as available, only to be informed of its unavailability during an 8 PM delivery. This mismanagement of stock and the lack of synchronization between online availability and actual inventory is unacceptable, leading to a significant waste of time and a disappointing overall experience.

In essence, Carefour's online delivery service has proven to be unreliable, misleading, and inconsistent, significantly undermining the convenience one would expect from an online shopping platform. The frustration, wasted time, and inexplicable order alterations make it an unrecommendable service in its current state.

I actually have no problem with carrefour in general. However, last week when we went to buy fish and have it cooked there, the guy cooking it is using the same gloves that he is using to handle the raw fish and to transfer the cooked fish afterwards.

If you need something you definitely will get it there. It's a huge department store with great variety of products

Do not buy electronics there, all bad stocks and defected and bad quality new brands uknown brands favored by carrfoure sellers marketing for cheap brands as good, and never buy electronic by al al kindi suppler cause they are they worse, carrfour loosing reputation by selling cheap electronics with very short time trial (one week)! And dont trust there sellers recommendations.

I had a problem with a purchased gift VISA card that couldn't activate. The clerks and managers did their best and called their contacts and solved the problem. Thank you very much for your fine service!

Sorry to say but the call center collect information of caller (such as mobile number) even to answer a simple question of opening hours during the on going virus issues. They should respect caller privacy if they refuse to provide personal contact details. Unfortunately i could not get the working hours as i refused to provide the mobile number.

Been a week, paid upfront for 1hour urgent delivery but still waiting for my grocery, which I ordered online due to travel restrictions placed during national disinfection programme. Toll free number shows busy tone and after 8pm, the number says to call during working hours. Many of my friends are also in the same dilemma. Never expected this kind of customer service from them. Concerned authorities should look into this urgently. 0/10

Big range of products, good promotions, good prices for most items but some are expensive compared to other supermarkets. Share points are a good incentive. Good location easy to park

Bad experience with online and delivery.
They deducted the total amount and you will receive 20% from what you order in multiple deliveries! So strange and in accurate and the customer service will not reply the calls, emails and application msg!

The best time to do your grocery shopping is at 9 am just as they open, the vegetables and fruits are super fresh and you have the best selection to pick from.

Carrefour are the one of the best choice for UAE residents, I have been shopped most the items from carrefour only. But today I had the worst experienced ever in my life. I bought geepas torch from carrefour deira city centre but unfortunately it's not working after few months so I put for repair and they gave me one repair paper. Following month I went there for pick but doesn't ready yet, they told me come next week.
2nd time I was there again but they gave me with the charger point damage so on the spot resubmitted again. After few months I went to check again they told me incharge for that is on vacation. I told them this my third time and explained about my location DIP to deira city centre (its far) they promise to call me back. But not call at all. So I went back again and ask but missing and they blame on me that's weird. I request manager his name is Maharjan but he doesn't aware anything about this case staff are very. I didn't expect this service from carrefour. And Maharjan promise to call next day but I didn't receive any call from him and I call 5 times and he picked up and looking for excuses poor manager. And he told he that because of this case they terminate that staff also (I don't think so) and I request for delivery but he said no. And they offer me other Torch but I don't like so he told he recheck again. After that his duty mobile no. Doesn't work anymore from my mobile I sent SMS to email me no reply at all.
I follow up with the carrefour customer service they ask me for case no. But they didn't provide me only repair slip without case no. Helpless they advise me to go again to deira carrefour common we are in advance world. Now am waiting for reply or call back

There are some good deals to be found here, but there are also alot of stuff that are priced higher especially the fresh produce. Also prices vary on the food option from branch to branch, which i don't like.

I have only one complaint there Custmer service and there is no person to help for finding products one of them busy with call one on the phone, one I call he is running with some paper, when I ask a product this guys not guiding properly, go that side go this side and check.very sad to say not good services

Big, nice supermarket with reasonably and abundantly priced items. Has wears, shoes, fresh produce, electronics, toys, raw and cooked food items, packaged food, sports section etc. Their prices in Dubai are the lowest have seen for mall supermarkets

Clean and neat, helpful staff are usually around. They often have offers that are good. Fresh fruits and vegetables are usually available and in many varieties.
They also have meat and fish that are sold fresh and chopped/cleaned on request.
