Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai

Excellent hospitality, kids friendly, very friendly & supporting staff, keep up the good work, just one suggestion add some Indian cuisine.

We stayed at centara mirage with family for one night. The hotel is new and so everything looks clean and tidy. Service is excellent and kids play area and pools are also up to the mark. Rooms are minimally furnished, but looks clean and new. The only concern is regarding the restaurants. We had added the half board plan and opted for dinner at Sheesh Arabic restaurant. It was pathetic. Food was cold and lacked the flavor and taste. They charged 135 per adult and 65 for kids, but not even worth for 50 Dirhams. The break fast was good. Overall a good experience, except the Arabic restaurant.

We just arrived and the impression is very positive, my kids very happy with the hotel facilities and the staff very welcoming with smiling Mr dahman very helpful and professional, the checkin very fast and easy the concierge and reception very helpful.

This is not our first stay, Everything was perfect especially Kookay at the reception she is very friendly, respectful and helpful even my kids liked her. Mr Walid also was very helpful and supportive.
The only thing we had trouble with is the guy at the beach towel stand Chiraz, he was very
disrespectful can't deal with guests in a polite way he made trouble with us and talked to us in a very rude way, he refused to give us the towels and he insisted on bringing the towel cards from the reception which we did, and yet he still refused to hand us the towels and kept on arguing and talked to us in a rude way, and refused to give me the managers’ number to talk to about this issue and claimed that he doesn’t have the managers’ number.

Super hotel, they always clean everywhere. Great food and service. Pools for cooling off, nice sea and clean beaches. Free sunbeds and umbrellas. We didn't mind the planes, who enjoys looking at planes, so it's a beautiful spectacle. To the city by taxi and Dubai a wonderful modern city. A wonderful holiday, thank you very much

Best rate, best service, big room, delicious breakfast, water park, beach, kids club, family pool, night beach cinema. Overall best resort I'm dubai.

Best family resort in Dubai! Stayed for two nights on the all inclusive package. Was a fantastic deal! For the best deal, book the rooms on the website and then add the all inclusive package at the hotel. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the water activities, gaming zone and the food as well. We will definitely go back

Very nice place for kids. Big room very nice view and nice food. The slides, pools and sea is very nice we didn’t have any problems.

Mr John in water park is very friendly and nice keep up the work MrJohn my kids told about you are really nice and kind.

This hotel is super excellent …it deserves more than 5 stars…the staff is too much helpful… always smiling and cheerful…everything is arranged very nice…special thank to that guard named Alex as he make my child very happy and my son loved him too much…he plays with the children the whole day without getting bored…super like

Very nice hotel for families with kids. Brand new. Lots of stuff for kids. Great.

Only problem I can see is that the hotel allows rude uncivilized tokkie visiters claiming a sunbed early in the morning by putting a towel over the sunbed. To return and start using it only hours later. Hotel claims allowing it for only 1 hour but this is not enforced. See foto. The sollution would be that the hotel does not allow this.

This is my initial review as we are still staying at this hotel.
Rooms - 5 stars - spacious, well planned, high ceilings
Bathrooms - 5 stars
Beach - 5 stars - water is good, the beach is sandy, there are plenty of sun loungers
Outdoor facilities - 5 stars - we've tried few of them, so far so good. Planning to explore all of them, which are plenty. I think the beach and the outdoor facilities are the biggest advantage of this hotel. It has a lot to offer especially for the families with kids.
Pools - no opinion yet, though they look very nice
Staff - 4 stars - very friendly and polite, though it is a but difficult to communicate in English with some of them.
Food: breakfast - 4 stars - the variety and quality are good, though not 5 stars
dinner at the buffet restaurant - 3 stars - the variety is really really modest for 129dhs, probably even closer to 2 stars
other restaurants - not tried yet, will do.
Location - 5 stars - for family beach holiday, 4 stars probably if you want to visit arguably more popular parts of Dubai - towards Jumeirah, the Palm, Marina, as the hotel is located relatively far from these parts of the city. However we liked the location very much, no congestion, very quiet and relaxed, just few projects completed so far at Deira Islands. One minor inconvenience though - the hotel is on the path of the airplanes flying out from Dubai International Airport, hence some unwelcome noise at night.
The biggest disappointment for me personally is the fact that the sauna/steam room are not free for the hotel guests. You have to book massage in the SPA or pay 100Dhs per hour (yes per hour, not per visit!) to use the sauna. This is frankly the first time I stay in the hotel which charges its guests to use the sauna.
All in all 4 stars, best for the families with the kids.

Had a wonderful stay with nine of my family. Felt more like a kids' place yet fully active as an adult. The vast water front, clean and put out beaches, aqua games mixed for kids and adults, indoor gaming areas, clean and well defined indoor space.helpful staff.
Good place to spend a week end.

Amazing, clean and staff friendly hotel. Lots of attractions to explore. Children's will enjoy with lots of water activities. Beach is clean. Food was good. Overall enjoyed my stay during the national holidays. I am looking forward to book my stay again during Christmas with my family & friends this time. No valet parking was available when i stayed, but car parking was near by. Overall 5 stars and keep it up.

منتجع جدا جميل ومناسب للإستجمام والهدوء وايضا الانشطه الترفيهيه في المكان مناسبه للجميع واللي عجبني اكثر ان فيه اماكن ترفيه مخصصه للأطفال. وايضا نظافة الغرف والمرافق وتعطير المكان تجربه صراحه اعتبرها استثنائيه والمكان بشكل عام جديد على كلام الموظفين ان له تقريبا شهرين.

Wir hatten einen schönen 2 Wochen Urlaub hier verbracht. Pool und Strand sind tool. Am Strand ist schön viel Platz. Essen kann man in verschiedenen Restaurants. Uns es hat immer gut geschmeckt und die Auswahl ist reichhaltig. Am schönsten ist frühstücken im 8. Stock im Sheesh. Toller Blick über das Meer und nicht ganz so voll wie im Hauptrestsurant.
Flugzeuge fliegen auch über das Hotel. Tagsüber stört es eigentlich nicht. Im Zimmer ist es ok. Aber wer hier empfindlich ist, wird nicht glücklich.

Alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und arbeiten lösungsorientiert.

Da das Hotel noch neu ist läuft vielleicht noch nicht alles perfekt. Aber das stört nicht, wenn man sich auf die guten Sachen Betrachtet.

Im still resident actually in the Hotel… this the first time in my life to find hotel has poor responding to IT issues in the rooms, I reserved 2 rooms, one room had TV issue for 10 hrs calling them and no one is coming, the 2nd room for the end if 2nd day in row the phone & TV is not working despite the continuous calls and going to the reception to report
The staff is ok
Food is average
Check in timing is different from counter to counter (which is weird) one said its from 3 another said its from 2
Luggage you have to wait for more than 30 mins in the room, easily to take it with u if u want to enjoy

I stayed here with a family of 14 for 2 nights and had 6 rooms. The hotel has potential to be a very good 5 star Resort. Since the hotel is brand new, it still has a few things to fix which is quite understandable i think.

Pros:
-free unlimited arcade games
-good views from the area facing rooms
-massive beach with endless sea to see
-lots of pool activities
-excellent Lebanese restaurant Sheesh
-very friendly staff (thank you Housekeeping Rakib). Service is the most important element of an experience in my opinion. Think they got this right all across the hotel and recommend they keep training their staff to maintain this, separating them from other hotels in UAE.
-free watersports in the morning

Cons:
-heavy paint smell at the restaurant Suan Buan during breakfast hours on both days
- Only 2 slots in 1 day for rope obstacle course - 2pm and 4pm
-pool water is v cold. Since it's a family hotel. I wish the water was temperature Controlled. The kids pool water was even more colder than all other pools
-elevator not working (one of the elevators would just stand in one place and not move at all, it would only open and close)
-daily Cinema at the beach is a great idea but very poorly executed. Both the nights my kids sat down to watch movies, the operators closed the projector 10 to 15 minutes before the movie got over. The reason given was that 11.15pm is closing time. That made me quite upset as we wasted almost 75 minutes with the kids on both days watching aqua an and aladdin and they were crying that they wanted to see the ending. If the operator knows in advance how long the movie is, then they could start it 10 to 15 minutes earlier.
-Breakfast buffet egg station was quite overwhelmed and the chef got my order wrong 3 times consecutively, once gave me ham in the omelette even though i made it clear that I don't want any meat.
- food taste and quality needs a big focus and upgrade. We weren't satisfied with any meal at their main asian restaurant, with especially underwent Thai good.
- There was also a bit of English communication gap with a few staff at times which was easily overcome as there were plenty of staff around to direct and help

Points i wish i knew in advance:
-Lebanese restaurant needs to be booked a day in advance
- Air/Rope obstacle course is only open at 2pm and 4pm. It gets full very quickly and advance reservation is a must
-9.30am to 12.30pm free kayaking and paddle board are available for 30 mins

I wish them luck and overall had a good time with my family

The services overall is amazing, kids activities is perfect, the food is great and staff is very nice and high response, the ambiance of the hotel is massive.

It's a great place for Families especially kids 10 & below.
The rooms with bunk beds are a brilliant idea as it is very ideal for family with kids On a budget.
The restaurants are a set back though,
Pool restaurant Is fine3.5/5
The Thai is really a disappointment as far as Thai food is concerned It's extremely limited and one question and advice, why have such a big menu consisting of Asian, Italian, Argentinian, continental etc. Limit your menu and concentrate on high quality & tasty food, you will be highly appreciated, successful and profitable.
The evening dinner BBQ at Sands is boring do some work in the menu there.last but not the least if you are a beach goer then forget it, it's a reclaimed beach not pristine sandy one.but in any case with Kids and the number of pools, games, disco, obstruction pathway, lazy river etc it makes up for 90% of kids interest.
I said earlier and.saying again its a family with young kids paradise!

Hotel is a good brand but the Dubai location is new and has some teething issues. This is not too much of an issue, but my challenge was the limited communication or transparency on addressing some of the issues. Has potential to move to 4 stars.

We booked a last minute short holiday at a very attractive price.
New hotel, clean and room service was 5 star. Seaside beach very good, and swimming pools and a lazy river, perfect for families and children.plenty activities if you read whats on the menu

We were on full board bases meaning lunch and dinner drinks were extra. Shocking prices i would say, bottle of singha beer 330 ml = 50 dirhams, (10 british pounds), bottle of water = 20 dirhams (4 british pounds) and so on, it was cheaper to get a taxi and have that drink in dubai mall! Luckily we moved a lot and most our lunches dinners were elsewhere, though i found them stupid prices
