Cheeky Monkeys - Downtown Dubai

We have been here to celebrate two birthdays for my daughter and one for my son and each time, the staff at Cheeky Monkey Downtown has been absolutely amazing, so helpful and attentive! With so many children running around, it was easy for us to overlook but they were very careful and detail-oriented to make sure that the kids are safe and having fun within limits.

We always enjoy our time here and recommend it to our friends all the time.

Celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday here. Had the best experience.the staff are very attentive and give the kids a good time! The facility is neat and clean.decorations are cute.party host was fun and very interactive with the kids.so happy to have selected this location. Would highly recommend it for birthday parties!

Not as expected. The staff was okay at the beginning but close to the closing of the place they just wanted all out. A cleaner when asked for the restroom didn’t even bother to answer. Wouldn’t take a chance to go again

We celebrated a birthday here and it was a great experience. All the kids of different age groups were super happy. The entertainment program was thoughtful and the food delicious. They decorated the big indoor area according to our theme. Communication with Quincy before the event was very easy and all extra wishes were full filled. Also the gift bags were very popular among the kids and the toys inside of good quality.
In September 2022 we again celebrate our daughter’s birthday here. We had one short meeting with Mark- the rest was arranged via WhatsApp. It was again a perfectly organized event that exceeded our expectations! The guests loved it and all want to celebrate in Cheeky monkeys Downtown also. Thank you Mark and Cheeky Monkeys Party Team!
Update in September 2023:
This was the third time in a row that my daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday at the Cheeky Monkeys downtown. Throughout the year we see so many different event locations but she always chooses Cheeky Monkeys. We worked together with Marc and everything went very smoothly. We arranged most simply through WhatsApp. He totally understood our theme and we were absolutely amazed by the decoration of the location. The animation program was fun and all kids participated and enjoyed it. Food was a very good quality and especially the cake was very delicious and not too sweet. All our guests said it was the best party ever.

I had my daughter's birthday party at cheeky monkeys downtown and it was well organized, the staff very friendly. Perhaps my only suggestion is to slightly improve the food quality for adults.

My boys absolutely loved the place. The slides were their favourite. Staff was friendly and we even got offered a discount because of the summer holidays on our first visit. Socks are a requirement for the play area but there are some on sale if you forget to bring some along. The place also has a snack bar and a small toy shop.

I love the place it’s always clean and The stuff are very Polite and respectful

The Cheeky Monkeys team did a fabulous job for my daughter's 5th birthday. We had discussed beforehand what we wanted and the day of, they handled everything without a hitch, from set-up to clean-up. I was able to enjoy the party thanks to their wonderful efforts. All the kids had a great time in the bouncy castle and the face painting, popcorn and piñata were big hits. Thanks to Jericho, Julie and Nanette for a wonderful memory.

We have been to cheeky monkeys as our class trip from British Orchard Nursery. The staff was friendly and caring. I have loved the way they have welcomed and supported us. Children had super fun and food was amazing.

It’s a definite place to go again.

Cheeky Monkeys is an excellent venue for kids' birthday parties. I recently hosted my son's 2-year-old birthday party there, and I must say that the experience was hassle-free. The staff took care of all the planning, which made it easy for me to focus on enjoying the party with my child and guests.

The playing area is well-designed, and the kids enjoyed playing there. The activities and games performed by the staff were also a big hit among the children, and they had a lot of fun participating in them.

Overall, I would highly recommend Cheeky Monkeys for anyone looking to host a kids' birthday party. The only area where the venue could improve is by increasing the time for moderated activities to more than 30 minutes, as the children enjoyed them immensely and would have liked to spend more time on them.

I chose to celebrate my 4-year old son’s birthday at this place as initially I liked the vibe, the environment and the pleasant staff - and they exceeded my expectations. Look no further- the kids had a blast and the parents as well - and everything was so professionally and worry free organized. I will return for another celebration, and of course - I am a regular for the kids zone. Thank you!

Amazing experience! We celebrated our daughter's birthday here. She was so happy and her friends were equally excited. Special mention to our host Ms. Flor who made sure all the kids are engaged and excited. Party coordination was smooth with the help of Ms. Claudia and Mr. Mark. We held a birthday party here for kids aged 3-6. The minimum number they require is 15. The venue is spacious, very clean, bright, airy and not too garish as some children’s soft play areas are apt to be. There is a great range of activities within the soft play area including trampoline, winding chute, slides, ball pit, net and various others. There is also plenty of seating where adults can chat comfortably while the children play.

I would recommend you discuss with them regarding the party entertainment to ensure your child is comfortable with being made the centre of attention (some kids - age and personality dependent - don’t like that sort of thing). It would also be better for the party entertainment to be a bit more gender neutral too (not automatically giving the birthday girl a princess tiara, for example) but this was not through any fault of the staff - it’s clearly what they’ve been directed to do.

Food for the kids was the usual stuff that you see at all birthday venues (pizza, nuggets, fries but a few cucumber and carrots sticks too) so not a particular criticism of Cheeky Monkeys by any means but it would set Cheeky Monkeys apart if they could have the option for healthier fare. Don’t children deserve more?

Finally, there is a Starbucks branded cafe where we opted for open tab. Oddly, no discount for parents that are part of the party group unless you make a booking through Kidzapp first (again this was not highlighted during the initial stages of inquiry). You could as part of the party package opt for a set number of teas and Americanos for parents that they would help themselves to via dispensers outside the party room. They very helpfully sent me pictures and videos of the available party food for parents but it was not a particularly inspiring menu so we dispensed with it in favour of customised drinks from the menu.

Throughout the process, I communicated chiefly via WhatsApp with the party organisers as I was unable to speak by phone a lot of the time. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the process was the communications as questions repeatedly went unanswered despite following up numerous times for clarification, but the majority of information provided was clear and my queries had mainly been about the finer details. For the same reason, we were overcharged by two heads for two children who popped in to play but did not eat and then for two children who arrived late and did not play. This particular member of staff bulldozed through the conversation when I tried to explain to her and just didn’t understand what was being said. I understood what she was trying to say but she simply didn’t quite comprehend on my side, hence two additional meals being produced and charged for. Her attitude was really rather frustrating and the only thing that let down an otherwise excellent the day, but the other staff members were very gracious and warm, understanding and flexible.

The whole team worked really hard and the day was executed very smoothly. The decorations were also customisable to a good extent.

All in all, despite a few hiccups, I would still highly recommend Cheeky Monkeys. Thank you so much to the whole team for your concerted efforts.

My child was invited to a party here recently. Was welcomed warmly by the people at the reception, a lot of happy faces. The area is very nice and clean. The party was extremely fun and even the parents enjoyed as well. The food was perfect and the service was amazing. Maybe I’ll be discussing with my wife to celebrate my child’s birthday here soon.

Heartfelt gratitude to Team at Cheeky monkeys, downtown dubai, for the amazing, well organized party they hosted for my daughter’s 5th birthday.
Firstly the location cannot be better than this, where it’s right at the center of the city and the parking too is very convenient.

It was heart warming to see the effort put in by each member of the team, special thanks to the manager Mr. Hazir, who went over and beyond his way to ensure all are requirements were well looked after, even sending us pictures for directions to parking which we shared with our guests- it was indeed a thoughtful gesture, the party coordinator Mr. Mark who contacted us multiple times to confirm and then reconfirm each little detail for our party, right from napkins to decor, to the lovely staff who kept the children entertained and taken care of.
The room was beautifully decorated for the frozen theme as promised. The staff was literally on their toes and ever so receptive of the needs of any child, and the hospitality offered to the adults- and also in arranging the table for gifts and return favors, having the kids table well laid out, placing everything back in the car. They went above and beyond with all.

A special mention to the cafe at Cheeky monkeys, it serves delectable variety of coffees and food that our guests enjoyed.

All in all we are extremely pleased with the choice made to have celebrated our daughter’s bday here. It made hosting the birthday a cakewalk for us. They made it memorable and special in every way!

The Place is cozy and nice for parents and babies to play together. There are many physical activities to do. I personally like since there are no battery operated games and kids are encouraged to move and play like good old days.

Very clean, neat and well maintained facility. Located in a very central location at the foot of burj Khalifa.

Party hall looked nice though we haven't tried it. One suggestion is on the timings, it is between 9am to 7pm. Parents can take kids only post office hours typically, closing time at 7pm isn't convenient. Also in day time, foot print is very less. I took my kid around 1pm during a weekday and he was all alone playing! Will be good if timing is made more accomodative.

The place is very clean and the staff are amazing. They are very friendly and made my daughter’s birthday a magical day.

I had my daughter's 4th birthday party there. It was so great. Everybody coming to the party had so much fun and still talks about it. They were really enjoying face painting, popcorns and several small games like pinata. When it finished, they wanted to play mote games. All the staffs are kind and try to figure out which party I want and make it. Thanks.

Very well organized birthday party for my son. He wanted to have a superheroes birthday party and everything was designed for it. The kids had fun from A to Z, no moment to get bored. Also nice that parents can have their own space very close to the kids room. Super cool moment!

Celebrated my son's birthday recently. Had a positive experience. They got us customised cupcakes done as well, which perfectly met our expectation. Great venue, good food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place for play dates, where mums can catch up too. Perfect venue for birthday party as well (2 - 6 age groups)

It's relatively new and the experience was amazing. They were flexible with the timings, letting the kids play even when the time was up. Sanitizing after every hour the whole area. Kids had a blast. Suitable for 3 to 8 years old

Great place with a lot of activities and different play areas. My child loves spending time there. The staff are very positive and helpful. Whilst the kids play, parents can easily relax in the cafe and have Starbucks. Would really recommend:)

We celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday party here, shout out to Ms Jac and team for being patient and understanding with every single details i asked them. The venue is perfect for party events. The parking area is a bit confusing though so better ask for instructions before visiting the place. But it didn’t bother us all cause we all had fun and enjoyed the party, most especially the kids.

A good place to keep kids busy. Staff are cheerful and accommodating. Hoping to have additional activities like even 10-15 mins of dance or art within the 2 hour play.

Time is not noticeable whenever me and my child is in Cheeky Monkeys Downtown. Great place, genuine and friendly people. Very accommodating that Guia helped me to breastfed my child in their stockroom. Will surely be there all the time.
