This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the Al Furjan / Discovery Gardens area. Their chaat items are very renowned. They have good combos as well. Must try items: Rajma chawal, Kadi chawal and in winters, Sarson da saag combo is unavoidable! They have a very good collection of sweets too, most of them are fresh. This place is always busy, but you'll definitely get a spot for 2 if you time it right i.e. In the early part of the nights. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant gives a very stiff competition to Bikanerwala in the region. Unfortunately, I've not seen many branches of these guys. I hope they expand and provide the same quality and taste of food they are known for, in far more localities. The pricing has been reasonable comparatively, but it tends towards a little on the higher side. This is expected considering the kind of food they serve, but still not ludicrous. This place is on the list of my regulars. Try this and I'm sure you too will love it to the tee!

Once we ordered Samosa and it has hair in it. Same happended with our neighbour.

Today we bought rasgollaand it is sour.

Seems they are working on cost control and compromising with the quality.

Waste of time
Very slow service, thirds time I went to get something I had to come back without taking anything.

Only recommend for online order.

This is great place for indian vegitarian food, rather indian street food, and then indian sweets, reasonable price and good test,

Mostly I ordered here is papdi chat, ragda patties, idli sambhar (for me it's the best sambhar in UAE) and dhokla / khandvi,

Very average food. Order sev puri (below average), bhel puri (average), grilled masala sandwich (below average). The tea was bad and I don’t think I would pay 3 AED for that. On the positive side, the service was quite good. Ordered a malai sandwich which was decent and not the worst thing I ate here.

It's a nice place however they could be more helpful and social when it comes to interacting with customers, making suggestions and alternatives to those who struggle to order.

Worst restaurant they will not send either chutneys they forget something always spoil mood and meals everytime they resend it after 1 hour everytime same story now i will never ever order from here, better to try puranmal, and other places

Tried Pani Puri had no taste at all.
Green spice Pani was bitter in taste with smell.
Red chutney has no taste.
Gol gappa was tooo tiny and filled with only 3ingredients (black chana, moong dal, chana dal) with tooo less stuffing and gappa it's isnt crispy.

Bad customer service, customer standing at counter and waiter stand far at table and talking to customer to place order. Dont explain what includes in thali. Talks like a robot as if every thing is recorded.

Just big names zero service

If you are looking to wait for an order which is not ready, Do buy some wasteful hours with you till your orders get ready.

Be it a 2 items or 50 items.

Such a worst staff, no proper customer dealing, no one bothers even if customer is waiting, such a useless customer service.

Very Disappointed not recommended at least for home delivery. Ordered 2 Masala Dosa and 2 Samosas. I was informed that the order will take 45 minutes but it took 1 HR and the worst part is we received 1 samosa only although we were charged for 2 samosas. Second samosa was delivered after 2 hrs.and that too after 3 times follow up call. Very poor customer service. Masala Dosa was pathetic, I would either recommend Saravana Bhojan Shala or Puranmal. For payment I had requested for credit card machine but that too was not provided and I had to arrange the cash from my daughter's piggy bank.

A good and affordable place for vegetarian lunch and dine out. Also includes snacks, chat and good stop for a tea break.

We ordered panner tikka and veg thali.

Panner tikka was too delicious, a perfect combination of tangy and spicy taste. Paneer was moist and soft.
Thali: I have tried their thali before too, it use too be delicious. But I was disappointed this time. It was not at all good. Taste was compromised. Quantity was good but quality was ok ok.
I think they should look after it.

As usual delivery was before time. Which I liked it
Food was well packaged.

Small place, they have very good sweets & chat items. But there plate meal is not worth for what I paid. Even taste is just ok ok.

This is one of my favourite restaurant. My complain is that in Discovery pavilion for past 6 months if we order after 7pm we never get chole-samosa or Ragda pattice or rasedaar aloo and puri. They say its over. I am posting this after I got this reply like atleast 5 times now. I hope someone takes note of my complaint here.

One of the best place for hot hot idli vada and amazing sambar and 2 varieties of chutney in the early morning hours. Nice chats as well

A decent place, get good north Indian food, sweets and chats. The place seems little congested for a big family but the taste of food is good.

Small Indian restaurant Shop at Discovery Pavillion - Serves mostly Indian chats and north Indian Cuisine - They also serve north Indian Version of south Indian food. The food quality is good but I would just Recommend to have chats here and North Indian Thali here

Had the samosa and khandvi at a friend's place. The size of the samosa and filling was great. The chutneys that came along were also nice. The khandvi was average.

Great place for all chatpatta chat lover.perfect place for evening snacks, even for light dinner. Ample choices of sweet dishes to fried snacks, ohh yes, this is a purely vegetarian place. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Note: good place to buy cottage cheese (panner) it’s fresh, have tried it so many times.

Worst restaurant, supposed to be Indian restaurant but does not know that Alu bonda is also served with Sambar and chatni, asked about same, wants to charge more for sambar than bonda costs. Please get your menu straight, if customer complains something is wrong for few years, there might be some truth in that

It's a Small Indian Sweets shop also serving Break Fast, Lunch and Dinner. Good for Both North as well as South Indian food. They do have indian Fast Food Chat, Pani Puri etc. Nice Place. I like their Masla Tea.

I tasted the food once and to tell seriously i did not like it at all the taste was not that good which i expected from an indian restaurant but for sure the quantity is really good you can have dinner for two in 1 single thali

Firstly, the restaurant staff took the menu away while my husband was still looking at it. Very unprofessional attitude. Secondly, the Chaat was too sweet and too much of dahi on it. We hadn't ordered any dahi based chaat but both our chats were all about dahi. We didn't enjoy that.
