Chhappan Bhog

The food was very good but the sweets were disappointing Specially, there was no taste of Bengali sweets as they mentioned. Should have a special person to make them.

DHALI Food quality was ok. Service was poor. Thali sharing was not properly allowed. The food prices were reasonable.

I ordered chole bhature and found a few small and a big stone in chole, very bad experience

Worst kulfi faluda ever just put noodels over ice cream cube total waste of 21dhimram i will never come here

I would say taste of chats are below average and very costly. I took Raj kachori in 17 Dhs but it was not good at all. Very expensive and not worth it.

Waiter told us 3 sabjis in special thali, but served only 2 sabji and when asked they said 1 sabji finished so that in replacement of sabji they are giving Dal.what a rubbish answer.it means they are giving only rice in thali without dal.surprisingly odd.
Mix veg. Sabji is made from packed Frozen vegetables.just fry and served.no taste.somehow we finished as we were too much hungry. Later on we saw black chana sabji in plate who just entered.
The staff is also non professional.we were 15 people.two time asked for spoon, after completing half of the meal they bring spoons.
The thali is below average. Not recommended to anyone.

Great tasty food.good service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Seating capacity is limited but the food is worth waiting a bit.

Taste is good, but not at par with Indian counterparts, still worth trying.

I would say the food was average. Tried the samosa chaat and I can say that I have eaten better ones. Service was poor. Upstairs is too warm to eat at peace because you will be sweating the entire time. Uneven floors with steps makes it harder to walk around. Must be careful with older people and young kids.

Good food but the taste seems average. Ordered dahi puri and some content seems like not so fresh

Good but bit expensive like Dish chole bature is for 28 AED WHERE AS FAMOUS BIKANERWALA IS SELLING LOVELY SAME DISH JUST FOR 18 AED JUST BEHIND CHAPAN BHOG

Food was good, perfect place to go to if you are missing home cooked veg food. Sweets are perfect. Needs work on the ambience.

Indian sweet with great taste.gulab jamun is my favorite thing to have. Everytime I visit.they do serve north i dian food with nice taste.

The Indian Thali is my favourite. They have some awesome Chole Bhatura as well. A nice place for a quick grab.

We got the opportunity to order 50 Thallis on 3rd of September for our company cricket tournament event held at Safeer Mall, Sharjah. We are glad to inform that, the food was superb delicious and it was delivered on time. The quantity was more than enough and it was packed and arranged in as box perfectly. We would like to thank the team of Chappan Bhog for their valuable efforts and we advise the other people to try their super delicious Thaali and enjoy. Excellent food, yummy items, well trained staffs are the main attributes of chapan bhog. Food delivery to the venue happened on time and the food was hot and fresh.excellent service from one of best veg restaurants in town.everyone must try it.

Chats are yumm. Dhokla was super tasty. Even sweets are mind blowing. Worth the visit. Highly recommended.

We went at around 8pm and they did not had samosa or kachori available. Ambience is good. They also have various sweets and snacks available for purchase.

Khadi combo was good in taste and dahi papdi was also good in taste but the sev batata puri not upto the mark.

Satisfied my chole bathure craving with the pindi chole and really soft, melt-in-your-mouth bathure (like they were so soft and fluffy!). Soooo good. The place is pretty well-kept, with social distancing well in place and is hygienic, with the sanitizer kept at your table. Serving staff is pretty friendly, but not the guy at the counter (seems lost in his own world or issues!). Got my order quickly and service was overall good.

It was a very bad experience to me and my husband to visit Chappan bhog round about 22.30 pm. Today we both have gone for dinner in Chhappan bhog. We have gone inside no body was there to guide so we have gone upstairs for dinner. Tables were occupied one was free so we sat on that for 20 minutes we waited no body came for attending us after that one of the waiter came to us he said very harshly to us. Atleast do proper marking on tables then no body will sit on that table or if by mistake some body sit then in decent way ur employees can say. We came back without having food. I was so excited to have dinner because our marriage anniversary was there but we felt so bad. Really very bad experience.

Chhappan Bhag is located in prime location in Karama near to Al adil karama and Kulcha King.

Tried their achari paneer tikka and it was awesome!

Superb food when it comes to taste north indian food. Must try their deluxe thali. Paneer masla. Staff is very friendly speicly our host Mr. Jagbeer Parmar knows very well how to make your guests feel comfrtable. He is the best.

Tried out their Friday Thali. Fresh veg food with a good variety of items, great value for money.

Pure vegetarian restaurant with average / reasonable prices. We tried Rajma Chawal, Chole Bhature, Dahi Bhalla and Dosa. Dahi Bhalla was great and Dosa was amazingly crispy. We visited at around 7 PM but their dinner menu was not available at that time. Plus, they ran out of Masala for their Dosa so we had to order the second Dosa without masala. So it's bit unorganised maybe. But the good was great and ambience was also good. Overall a nice experience!

Good food joint for vegetarians. It has lots of options for chaat masala and sweet preparation. The taste of food is exactly same like India.

It used to be a better eating joint. The quality of food has gone down. Earlier the food used to be much better as well as the sweets.

Nice food and reasonable prices, but they don’t really care about being clean, I ordered pani puri, the guy was making the food was really sick he couldn’t breath I asked him if he sick just to make sure and he said yes I have flu

The Original chappan bhog is about having a Thali with 56 items in it.
Thali here might just have a max of 12 or 14
When I asked what Chappan Bhog meant, the guy at reception said it was a name of one of the gods from Brindavan. Hmmmm. Alrighty then.:)

The best place in town to fulfill your tangy chatpati urges! Loved everything about this place - from chaat to dosa, from drinks to service provided by them. Highly recommend

Not very well organized. No guidance as to where to start and how to custom pack sweets. Namkeen were way over priced.

Very disappointing sweets. They got good varieties in sweet but nothing taste good. If you are indian, u will definitely not like the taste. Gajar ka halwa is taste less. Feel like half cooked. No enough sweet. Complete money waist.

We went today (15th NoV 2019) at around 9: 00PM. We ordered jaljeera, masala papad, panipoori, achari paneer, Dal makhani, kulcha and Garlic Naan.not even one from the items we ordered worth any money. Achari paneer was way tooo spicy. Jaljeera was below average, dal Makhani was tasteless and bread were just ok.overall very bad experience we had. Even the wait time after ordering was too long.people who sat next to us literally waited for more than 20mins for their main course after their starter was served.

A great eating joint for vegetarians. The Indian chaat items like samosa and kachori are good. They have many types of savory snacks items like shev, chakli, khalra. During festival times like Diwali they will have special stock's of sweets and savory items like laddus, chakli, chiwda and such items. For the regular food menu they have good thaali in full and mini versions. The food is prepared in a hygiene way and the taste and quality are also well maintained. Favorites are chola bhatura, khichadi. Overall a great place for vegetarians and Indian food lovers.

The sev puri was the best dish here. Other things were good and overall experience was worth remembering

This place is a vegetarian and they have maintained very well. I always go here if fancying veg. Very helpful and friendly staff always welcomes you with smiley face. I would recommend this place if you are looking and best vegetarian restaurant.

Chhappan Bhog is a decent place of vegetarian food and nostalgia in Dubai. Good variety. Nice seating and on the main road. Helpful staff. Worth a visit. Lots of similar joints in the neighborhood.

We had the deluxe thali and it was awesome. They still have the same taste as before. I left UAE in 2014 and back in 2019. I have always been a fan of Chappan Bhog food.

Food was okay. Mix veg was jus a mix of frozen cut vegetables available in Dubai. Paneer was good. Rasmalai was smelly and not fresh. Papdi chat was also not tasty.

Good location, we went on Tuesday afternoon for Lunch and could easily find a parking outside their restaurant.
Opening of the restaurant is very nice, good seating capacity. At the entrance, you will find variety of Sweet Desserts which is attractive enough to build your appetite
We were group of 4 members, we ordered Special Thali. Service was quick, almost within 10 minutes food was served.
We convinced our Filipino colleagues to try Indian food today but they left alot of stuff which tells the story.
May be our expectations were little high, food was average overall taste could have been much better.
Moreover, they don't take Zomato Gold for Thali ordering so I would recommend you order dishes separately get this advantage.

Authentic Indian. No frills restaurant that serves food for a great price.

I ordered the special Thali. More food than I could finish, and I turned up there hungry.

Found the service to be on a downside, I visited there with one colleague, ordered deluxe thali, Chole & chaas (ala carte) was good, rotis were burnt.

Clean, good and welcoming. Very nice Indian vegetarian thali.a must try. All the dishes are very good.

Its so expensive, zero service, bad quality food.
Don’t visit here because you will regret going to this restaurant.
There are many other good Indian restaurants better than this one.
Please don’t visit this its waste of money!
