Delicious food and a vey nice owner.we had a long chat with him and he recommended us some of the signature dishes.

Came in with a friend tonight. The food was good but the lady serving us was great!
She helped up choose our food, and was super nice throughout the meal, making sure we were happy and satisfied, and at the same time, giving us just the right amount of space.

We really enjoyed the food here. The beef stew and jollof rice was delicious. I would certainly come here again. I personally think the food is a lot nicer than Kiza restaurant.

The staff have wonderful customer service. They provide a very warm and pleasant environment. The food was beyond my expectations being it was my very first time having Efo Riro (Rich Rich) + Amala—I was in food heaven
Oh and the physical space and setting is very beautiful. I will definitely visit again whenever I’m in Dubai again!

First time to try Nigerian food and I love it. It was so delicious and I asked them to make it less spicy which is just perfect for my tasting.

We had Christmas Dinner at Chop House, though the chapman wasn’t so great. But one of the staff (Segun) was exceptional. He attended to every of our needs going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.

Very impressed with this restaurant. Caters to the popular Nigerian cuisines and the service is topnotch. Lots of attention to detail, neat environment and friendly, professional staff.
The presentation of the meals we ordered was very classy and we didn't have to wait long to be served. The taste was really good for all the meals too so not just good looking food.
It's probably not the cheapest place to eat Nigerian meals in Dubai but well worth it if you are craving authentic and tasty Nigerian food.
Only bug bear was the 3% charge added if you pay by card. Not sure what that is about but wasn't a deal breaker for us. Can pay by cash too.
There is a waterfront feature outside where one can walk off the calories afterwards.

Very expensive and over priced. You don't get much meat at all. We had efo riro mixed meat with fish and it was not worth the cost of 200aed for two small pieces of meat mostly bone. The rest was all greens and oil. To much oil! Would not re order.

Segun our waiter was excellent. He took his time to work us thru the menu with very useful suggestions. The food was great. Having been out of Nigeria for more than two years, this place makes me feel that I’m back in West Africa.
My family really enjoyed our dinner. Segun deserves my highest commendation.

The food was so delicious! I had no complaints about anything! They have the best moi moi and the jollof noodles took me by surprise!

Great social media going on but when it comes to food it’s something else. First of all it takes ages to get the food. The kitchen is very slow and I witnessed this with other guests waiting ages. The jollof is one of the worst I’ve had, it lacks tomato, spice and why do you have corn in there? It comes without anything no gravy no plantains. The pies were not available. The puff puff are okay, but really long time to get them cooked. Also if it’s confirmed to be a dessert why add mayo and ketchup? The staff is nice but really sad that the food is not up to par. Also please fix the AC it was very hot.

The food was quite good. The staff were polite, the restaurant was beautifully decorated.

The food took too long to be served but the staff advised they prepare the meals fresh. Try calling to order ahead if possible.

The washroom could use a little more cleaning and be less cluttered.

One word: Perfection! My absolute favorite place for authentic nigerian food in Dubai. The staff is professional and down to earth and the food is just like back home.

The Poundo Yam was amazing and so fresh. The best poundo I’ve had in Dubai. The red stew sauce was so nice and reminded me of back home when I had in the UK. The goat meat was really tasty and soft but just to much fat for me but was really tasty.

The ambience was great, the dishes presentation was nice, must try if u looking for authentic African cuisine

The decor is floral, cozy and relaxing.
Gold accented furniture gave it a nice appeal.
Lovely and welcoming staff, they helped with recommendations and even served some complimentary plantain chip which I had missed thanks again!

Efo riro with red snapper fish and semovita was tasty and freshly made.you just have to be patient because its a la carte. I also ordered the grilled catfish and plantain for dinner and had the pleasure of devouring every bit of it in the privacy of my home.best put; it was a finger licking experience

New Nigerian Restaurant in JLT!

New and very welcome African (Nigerian Cuisine) restaurant in JLT, a month old, however still experiencing teething and operational problems, cash-only service, no convenient means of cashless payment, highly inconveniencing customers by going to ATM or requiring transferring to a Nigerian bank account at exorbitant exchange rates, keeping customers for over an hr as a result, waiting and kitchen staff is excellent, but management attitude and customer service is deplorable, food is also a 5/10 though presentation is wonderful 9/10, beef was extremely fatty, egusi oily, gave me the runs the next day. Won't be returning for some time till these issues are fixed.

PS. Did eventually transfer payment to a Nigerian bank. Supervisor attitude despite having the means to collect payment was to delay us for over an hour because he wanted a higher, more exorbitant exchange rate. Had to call police before was able to leave. Check for these things before choosing to eat here. We hope they have been fixed.

I have made an order at 10: 55pm and I was delivered at 1am with missing items and incorrect pricing. They told me the 30AED more is for the delivery (for 5 minutes ride). They don't reply to request or they ignore you for few hours. Very nice professional services and responsibilities!

I came to this while I was visiting a friend in Dubai. Amazing food and amazing experience. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. The service was also extraordinary and the servers did a great job at attending to us! Food was delicious.

Slowly becoming one of the best African restaurant in Dubai. The dishes are amazing and the service is great. Also, staff are friendly. The prices are fair compared to other places in town.
Will highly recommend Chop House if you want to have a party in your mouth eating Nigerian food for a decent price.

At the Chop House everybody will find his favorite dish. The staff is super friendly and fast. The location looks amazing. The owner is so friendly and takes his time to talk to you and makes sure everything is 100% perfect. Will definitely go there again. Love this place. Delivery is also available.

The environment is very nice & relaxing. The Egusi soup is a must have. The staffs are customer friendly. They showed so much care and concern.
