Coco & Orchid Restaurant

Place is quite secluded from the busy Dubai areas. Location is not strategically located. Restaurant was empty when we arrived. Surprisingly, foods weren’t bad and in fact quite tasty. We had Nasi goreng kampung and wagyu fried rice

We would love to visit the place again, however, due to the location, we don’t think we gonna visit at anytime soon.

Hope the management can consider relocating to a more strategic area where customers from around Dubai and outskirts could visit the place at ease.

Would recommend you guys to visit the place at least once.

I am an international Student, who is craving for Malaysian food. My friend recommended this restaurant. The food
Nasi Lemak, and it was an absolute delight! The fragrant coconut rice was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the flavorful sambal sauce. The crispy fried chicken and accompanying condiments added a burst of textures and flavors that made every bite a memorable experience. The portion size was generous. We even asked for extra sambal, they gave them for free. Thank you so much

Food was really great, it’s such a hidden spot, food quality and taste is really amazing, didn’t even know they were open for 2 years.

Food was amazing, it was the first time I tried Malaysian cuisine, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Ahmed was great. Definitely re visiting them in the future

We just simply Google and found this place. It is quiet and rather empty but the food was great.

Ordered the teh tarik, bandung, nasi lemak, nasi kandar, tempura prawns and aglio olio.

Tempura was very crunchy, aglio tasted superb and all the other food was good. Only setback was the sambal is a bit lacking.
The other setback was service was rather slow given it is only us dining in.

Other than that, we are super happy with the food

Came here to have Malaysian food, and the food was okay but they can’t get our order right. We waited for an hour and only received 1 dish.

I asked for Nasi goreng and mango sticky rice
Only the Mango was good the rice was bad and the Nasi Goreng was spicy, tastes more Indian then Asian

Wasted a lot of time! We ordered cendol at 1: 30 it’s already 3: 30 and we have to still
Wait. Nuggets took 1 hour to arrive. You have to wait minimum one hour for each meal to arrive.

Horrible food, thier Tom Yum Soup is so oily and is not related to Tom Yum Soup, thier sweet & sour is not sweet nor sour. And it very pricy compared with others.

Good authentic Malaysian and Thai food. Nice little restaurant. 1 star taken away as the Covid SOP of the waiters are not as strict as it should be. Hope they will improve on that.

Good food for cheap prices. Not brilliant though, the curry could have had more veggies and a bit more taste.

Honestly, i shall describe as neutral as i can from my personal experience. From the ambience of the restaurant, to the experience of the exquisite food delivery plus amazing service. I must say that it brings me back home, away from home. Me and my brothers just wanted to take a cheeky visit to Coco & Orchid for their Mee Goreng. And wallah, it was amazing! *mic drops*

We had teh O Ice limau, Teh O Ice, and the Hot Teh Tarik. Literally, we have no better words to describe but just please try their menu. Hands down to Mr Ahmed Faiszal and business partner/s. They have exceeded our 1st ever visit and awaken our tastebuds and brought us home with their exclusivity.

Literally i do not mind driving from Sharjah to Majan just for Teh O Peng and chill. Worth every km lah!

Really nice and clean place. The egg noodles were very good, the price also, about AED40 per person. We will be back.

The nasi lemak and mee goreng was superb. Ambience was nice and quiet. Boss sangat friendly and social. Will definitely go back to try their ikan tengiri curry.

Their Nasi Lemak taste so nice! My craving satisfied. We had Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng and Sambal Udang. All the food taste great. Their sambal too!

Love it! Great taste and fulfilling large portions. Average AED42.5/person for dinner with drinks. Chef also came by our table and told us about his nasi lemak cooking process (steamed rice). Looking forward to more visits to try other dishes. No parking in front of the restaurant and owners are trying to get the license for outdoor seating.

Overall is okay. For ease order pls make checklist menu where customer can tick the order easily.

We had breakfast here yesterday. They just open for breakfast on weekend starting yesterday. Whats for breakfast? Malaysian breakfast dishes - only range from nasi lemak, mee goreng and mihun goreng (fried vermicelli). We had nasi lemak with sambal and rendang ayam & mee goreng with beef. Both are generous with ingredients! Love the food, love the environment and staffs are helpful. Will come back for more!

To me the Malaysian food I had was amazing. Will definitely go back again. Tip top Malaysian hospitality. Especially the chef is amazing. Polite and friendly.:)
