I spent about 3 hours in Counter Culture working. I would definitely visit again. While there, I signed up for a Mariott program that allows you to get 30% your orders (I would highly suggest asking about this program/signing up for it).

Food: I ordered the almond croissant and the cinnamon latte. I found the croissant a bit sweet (perhaps do to the addition of powder sugar sprinkled on top). However, it tasted perfect when paired with the cinnamon latte. I would come back here just for the cinnamon latte- it tasted divine and was very pretty.

Service: Zena was amazing and made sure that everything was to my liking. There was also another woman working that was just as polite and considerate.

Atmosphere: While I was at Counter Culture, it was not busy and therefore it was an ideal place to study and work from. I could see it being more lively during the weekend and evenings as it was attached to a hotel.

Very nice place especially at this time of the year (between actual summer and winter). Their outside seating is comfortable, pleasing-to-the-eye and a delightful place to spend time in because of all the pet guests and passersby. It is a pet-friendly section, which is a hit for pet-owners in the area.

Their breakfast buffet spread is basic but totally worth it. The food items cover everything you can think of for breakfast, and every one tastes exactly as you expect, which is a comfort to wake up to. I felt full in a healthy way

It is lovely how they have a buzzer connected to the servers, so the wait time is really non-existent, except for my coffee, which might have been missed. The servers go around checking on the guests every now and then, and that is really nice.

Overall, I would love to come back again whenever I am in the area.

Get the club card to get a substantial discount, ask the waiter. Great outside terrace easy dining. You are encouraged to take your dog

My favorite place for breakfast. I used to live in Princess tower before, every weekend we came here just for avocado toast or cheesecake. Now we live in Downtown and I dream they open that place in Downtown

Hi, today I chose to take my dog to a pet frendly place and I chose yours, because you allow pets and I liked your page on Instagram; So I decided to go, unfortunately I left with the worst feeling. Because in the valet parking they discriminated against me because of my pet! How ironic! It is the first time since I have my pet that a valet parking staff does not want to sit in my car because there is "dog hair"; I don't understand how they didn't evaluate their staff if they have problems with dogs.because I always give my car to valet parking in different places even when I'm not with my dog, and there are hairs from my pet.and it's the first time I felt discriminated against. And the situation was manage wrong from the manager of hotel as well. They were 2 valet parking working and non one wants due "hair dog" unbelievable. I'm texting bcz I want to undertand why? You didn't check your staff before inviting pet owners! And avoid this sad moment for your clients.

This restaurant is so good with nice food i enjoyed their salads the smoothie the place is so clean with good customer care i looking forward to come back again

Friendly staff. CNN tv. Lots of choice and menu changes every 5-6 months with new options. Always good. Happy hour and when temp ok, nice to sit outside.
Pets welcome hence flies sometimes as well.

I stayed at the Marriott in the same building and often had breakfast here - it’s really good, friendly staff, excellent service and great food.

Nice and lively place to have breakfast, brunch or a quick bite. Coffee is really nice and they have non-dairy milk option too. Service is great, valet parking is free, and the ambience is fresh. Good place for business or a casual meeting. Recommended!

Over the weekend, I've taken an extremely fussy coffee person for breakfast. And to my surprise, he nodded in approval while sipping on his cappuccino
We got Eggs Benedict which was super decent.

Delightful ambience and great service team. Ideal for break fast or a quick coffee. Ideal for business meetings too as the place is quite. I visited the place in the late morning hours for a business meeting and it was just the perfect place. And the valet was the icing on the cake in a busy place like marina.

Amazing fun for you and your pooch, they've got a separate bowl for snacks and water for your dogs while you have a nice cuppa coffee/breakfast. Good place for your pup to interact with other dogs. Customer service was top notch too

Good food. We tried breakfast menu of avocado and Benedict, both is great and enough portion for breakfast with poached eggs.
Beautiful sitting areas and bright lights. Good music and easy valet parking

Iftar meal ok- very rushed- cold mezze served with cold starters, hot mezze served with mains- very inconsistent service.

Chickens skewers were over cooked- seriously over cooked!

Arabic bread hard around edges- like a frisbee.

Lamb and fish dishes were nice. Lentil soup nice.

Not allowed to take excess food home- total waste of food.

Not busy- glad we had Bogof deal as at 175AED per head isn’t good value for money.

One to avoid- better value and choice within a few blocks.

They need to up the ante here IMO- could do much better.

I loved the RAMADAN iftaar box by Counter Culture cafe.

It was so lavish. The quantity and quality both were impressive. Soup, starters, salads, breads, main course and beverages were all labeled and were in a gorgeous sturdy box.

Although we ordered for 4 people the quantity was enough for 7/8.

My family loved the taste. It was like having our own personal buffet. A highly recommend trying it.

The atmosphere is great, really nicely decorated and cozy. They have an outside seating area super cool as well. Coffee was good with non-dairy options. Service was nice but slow. Took us really long time to get the bill, so we decided to pay in the counter. ‍️
In a lazy day I would go back.

There are rats! Rats are everywhere, right next to tables at outdoor! I like that it’s one of the rare dog friendly place in Marina but they have to find a solution for the rats, I saw too many times, called the hotel and they simply ignore that. Just saw 2 rats today morning there, they were coming close to one of tables which there were remaining breakfast on the table! Then they noticed my dog and started running away, same time I screamed and the filipino waitress lady did nothing.

If you’re looking for somewhere pet friendly and human approved (food and coffee) then you definitely need to visit Counter Culture. The staff are so super sweet to the pets and they’re super helpful. It’s a must visit if you’re out with your pet!

We visited this café last weekend for B'fast with our pet.
Their service and hospitality is outstanding! The staff are extra attentive, courteous and super friendly. They even offered my pet some treats and a water bowl.
Breakfast was delicious, coupled with good weather which made the entire experience an awesome one!
Will most definitely visit them again.

The place is nice, but in a sacrificed position. Manager is nice, but the service a disaster. I had a cappuccino that was just acceptable.

This place is amazing! Pricing is great, foods great I’m here literally every day. Lyra and Edward make the experience even better and they deliver the upmost customer satisfaction you can ask for. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely do the social club rewards which saves you even more money on food and drinks. I consider myself a regular customer now and I never had a bad experience!

Service was great but menu and options were way too overcomplicated and confusing. The food is very overpriced, 65 dirhams for a small club sandwich. Overall, though, the food tastes good and the coffee is pretty alright.

Great place with nice open garden space. Feel like sitting in a beer garden in Europe that I dont have to hide from public eyes while drinking. So relaxed.

Service is a joke. They take forever to get a simple order or sometimes even forget it completely. They forgot my avo toast, so I have been sitting at my table; waiting and wishing for almost an hour and a half. The food is good, service needs to improve pronto.

The food rating is good. The dishes related to the chicken and beef is fantastic. But the seafood need to be improved

Ramadan Iftar buffet was average but not value for money. I liked the live cooking station for pasta and the variety of sweets.
