I celebrated my daughter's birthday at Cutting Edge Salon. My daughter had a wonderful pampering spa birthday party with 17 of her friends. The ambience of the Salon is very beautiful. Service was great. Special thanks to Gazal, Salon Manager who was very cooperative, helpful, prompt. Cutting Edge Salon made the day special for us.

The whole experience was so unprofessional! The ladies were rude and had an attitude. They even charge you 4 times more than what their work is worth especially for the haircut.very unhappy with the haircut and their work they finished up in 2-3 mins!

I had the worst experience for eyelash extensions in this salon, unfortunately most of my eyelashes were falling from the first day.very unprofessional and not recommended here for eyelash extensions

I had gone to cutting edge salon for a haircut and had the most beautiful hair style done by Sajida. I'm very particular about my haircut, as not many people know how to cut curly to wavy hair but Sajida was very experienced and did a excellent job. Thank you and I will be a visiting soon.

Well we'll well. I am truly and deeply thankful for the service Shereen, Anjali, Krishna and Shefali has given. Sheren has completely transformed my hair and everyone like literally everyone has told me that my hair looks amazing.

Shireen is the best hairstylist in the saloon. She is very good with all hair treatments. I would recommend everyone to go and get your hair done from her.

Staffs Chi and Devnit are excellent! Chi was very good with the manicure and pedicure, she’s very delicate and careful. Devnit is very thorough in doing my eyebrows and upper lip threading. Excellent service!

However, they need to reorient their receptionist Marites. She is always making mistake and misinforming customers. One time she charged me twice for a service and blamed their machine for her mistake when in fact she is the one swiping the card. She also misinformed me a couple of times with promotional offers and ended up paying more than I was informed initially. Also she has poor customer service, unwelcoming and doesn’t even smile at guests.

The team doing the service are excellent, they need to change or retrain their receptionist though.

Elizabeth got my nail extensions done. Extremely beautiful. She's been very careful during the process. She delivered what I asked for. Loving the result.

Horrible experience ever!
I am new in town and tried this salon for the first time after reading good reviews But my experience was pathetic. I want just straight cut and The so called hair stylist Raheela don’t even know how to do a straight cut plus very bad attitude I asked her pls give me a good blow dry at least but she said Jaisa ata ha wese hi krn gi na very unprofessional staff. I complained the front desk girls Sonia and Shefali and also show my hairs but they didn’t accept and they were very rude I never faced such a rude and unprofessional attitude.

The staff here is excellent and gives the best customer service.

I had a really bad experience with CUTTING EDGE Ibn batuta. They did the waxing very unprofessionally which led to burnmarks. In addition to it, their customer service is not upto the mark. Please do improve your service facilities and give due attention to the customer needs.

The Worst massage ever, an Indonesian girl named Bella worst service, she was literally sleeping when doing massage, will never recommend to anyone.

The parlour is clean, chic and takes care of customers hygiene very well. Ms. Devnit was very professional and had excellent customer communication skills.

I got my gel nails for feet done here.one of the most expensive but equally not worth it.any local salon or i myself would have done such an unprofessional job on my nails.they dont look salon perfect at all.plus the therapist kept scraping the polish on side of nail bed as if i had no skin under.at one point i had to tell her because it was painful.my nails were not filed equal or in shape.cuticles were not removed and dead skin was not removed.in simple words.not worth it!

Had an excellent mani pedi there today from Emmelda and Evita (my nails are very difficult) The reception were very patient as I was faffing about with my Groupon app. I'll absolutely go back.

I just had the 99 aed 60 min massage offer with a lovely lady called Dini and she did a superb job, such a good massage from top to toe and exactly what I needed, she is very skillful!
Had a pedicure as well and also happy with the result! Would definately recommend this place!

It is not worth to pay, or I’m just unlucky assigned to a not skill-full hairdresser. I showed the pic that i want but still he insisted what he wants, I’ve been into different shop but in here i don’t see passion or detailed in their work, as long as they can use the machine they do it as fast as they can. I regret so much, worst haircut! Not recommended at all.

Was overcharged for removal of gel pedicure hovewer my last pedicure was made in the salon. Noone told me about being charge 35 dhr just for removal of gelish.

It was my first time here as I’m quite picky with mani & pedi, I was surprised with Neha who looks so young however she did a great service for me! Really good job and I’m over satisfied! Never underestimate, the salon is bright and welcoming, I can’t wait to come back here! PS, pls book as they’re quite busy:)

My experience with Sajida who coloured my hair has been one of a kind. She is too soft spoken n well behaved. Knows her job with complete professionalism.

Very disappointed with the receptionist who is rude to clients, It is going to be my last time visiting the salon unless they change the receptionist.

Called them up to inquire about a hair cut after reading a recommendation. The person who answered the phone was extremely disinterested and I felt like she was doing me a favour by providing information! If this is their customer attitude, can only wonder about their service. Never going here for sure!

Had a pedicure there twice, came consequently 2 times. In my 2nd visit I was charged 35 dhr for gelish removal which I was not aware of being charged. I told only 6 nails had gel and she charged me 30 dhr because in the system you can't change for 15 dhr, which is b*. Definitely will not come again.

I got a free blow dry voucher to try this salon for the first time so here you go: when I reached I wasn’t welcomed properly and then the hairdresser asked me if I want to wash my hair so I answered yes sure (Based on my experience a blow dry should always include a free hair wash first) However, she informed me to check with reception because I should pay additional 30aed for that. Therefore, after the reception confirmed the above I declined the offer said thank you and left the salon. Instead of offering a free wash to gain me as a customer they didn’t call me back or anything. So this free blow dry voucher is a trick and I don’t recommend this salon at all.

Rude behaviour from the cashier.
We had GEMS Rewards app and the offer was 50%. Her reaction was pathetic and she wasn't ready to accept the offer. The reason she said was the management change their decision (GEMS Education didn't beg for your offer)

Terrible experience

Went for a haircut and blowdry and found it completely worth the money I paid. Ms Shireen who did my haircut is simply outstanding in her work and gave me a very refreshing look for which I recommend this salon.

Very professional.service was really good. I had my hair cut with Ms Elizabeth. She is really good at her work.
Overall it was a good experience.

I wanted to like the salon because of its location in the mall. BUT. The overall experience was unpleasant starting with the Indian ladies at the reception who didn’t seem friendly, welcoming or helpful, to the staff who unwillingly gave me water. I was greeted in Tagalog and assumed to be a Filipina (which was unnecessary) that could be avoided altogether. Staff who wasn’t working was sitting around looking bored. Not impressed at all. Don’t waste your time and money at the salon. And look elsewhere.

After a long drive, I needed to switch off. I got a haircut, a head massage and a facial, ten days ago. Now I've got all kinds of itchy spots on my scalp and face. Something they used has caused some sort of reaction, or perhaps the barber's hands were not clean. Very disappointed.

Me and my friend was just here hours ago. One of the ladies who work there was in the bathroom where my friend and I were and we were chatting about getting a pedicure. She said we can go to the salon and have our nails done for a price that she offered. We didnt negotiate and just agreed to it because it seemed like a fair price. Then when we are at the reception I realized that I have a gelish pedicure and was thinking that there might be an extra charge to have it removed. I clarified it and the ladh said no it will just be the same price and I even reiterated it inside. When i was finished and about to make a payment the reception told me that the removal of the Gelish polish would cost me. I said i was advised that its included. The lady who offered me went to the cashier and told me that i misunderstood it and that theres a charge. I felt extremely disappointed and disrespected as if i was lying. Ofcourse i paid but there were No apologies or empathy from them. The service was okay but due to this I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this salon to anyone.

This is by far the best experience in all of Dubai clean friendly on time the best manicures the best service and best of all Parking with no tickets because there is no paid parking I highly recommend it.

I've never experienced so much pain while threading ever in my life. I went for the first time there and the lady who was doing my threading was completely unprofessional, she was so rough and horrible. In the end, instead of accepting her fault she was telling me that my hair are stubborn and I've done something wrong with my hair.

I have been a regular customer the past 3 years.very professional, staff is always pleasant and services are always excellent. Would definitely recommend the place!

I came all the way to Ibn Battuta mall to check out this salon.
I called the number given to ask for directions and the lady on call was in such a hurry to hang up, she kept saying ok bye bye bye even though i was still speaking & wanted to ask for an appointment!
I would not visit the salon for their services if the first person answering calls is in such a hurry!
Ridiculous!

The staff very professional but what i felt not comfortable is the other staff which is don’t have customer they talked with her college during doing customer then they talked tagalog make me felt disturbing. Please gave customer space to relax and staff can joke or talk when customer not there. But overall it was perfect treatment and make sure after did customer santized all the tools because i saw the girls put it in the same place with another tools are clean. Thanks

I had a keratin last june 8 and after 3 days i wash my hair and i both special shampoo for my keratin hair just to take care of it, which is oribe shampoo, and after i wash my hair the results of my keratin treatment is so bad just wasting money i think its only 2 weeks my hair is straight after that go back to normal freezy and waivy, i will never ever Recommend the hair treatment on this salon, nails is ok but hair naaa.

This Salon @ IBN Battuta got wonderful prices of their services. I had a 50% off with my treatments. The Filipino staff are nice, friendly!

I paid for a Keratin Treatment. They may have a really bad product because my hair is as frizzy, curly and damaged as before, even worse. Is is like I didn’t have the treatment at all. I DO NOT recomend anyone to waist money and time at this place.

I do my nails here regularly, very friendly and courteous staff. The job is done perfectly everytime. Recently, i got acrylic extensions and eyelash extensions done here and amazingly good job done! Absolutely in love with my nails and eyes!
