Best Ramen in the city- doesn't smell at all.
Not for the spice lovers- everything is v flavourful but you can ask for extra spice.

Always wonder why it’s crowded even late in the afternoon. Food’s super tasty! I ordered for the Miso ramen, and I’d say it’s one of the best ramen and places I’d eaten in this area. Love their bao and curry too. Wish they had bigger space though. But will definitely come back to try more from their menu.

Ingredients were fresh but food lacked flavour.
Basically spagetthi noodles with chicken water, 1 slice of meat and half an egg.

We had two "ramen" and 1 gyoza for 130 AED. Overpriced and overhyped!

I have been a frequent customer to their JLT branch and for a difference I tried the DIFC branch. The food was consistent and have always been consistent from my day one, regardless of the branches.
Shoyu and Miso Ramen are my go to options always. 5/5 for the umami rich broth.

This restaurant is my absolute favorite ramen place in Dubai! The Spicy Shoyu Ramen and Chicken Katsu are my go-to dishes, and they never disappoint!

Expensive but very little food. Food doesn’t worth the price. The ramen soup was a bit too salty

The worst ramen I have eaten - underserved portion, no taste and poor service - after paying 55 aed -

Very poor service yesterday 1st Feb. We were welcomed and assigned to their outdoor tables. And forgotten. They do not even check the table VERY DIRTY. And so we waited for sometime understanding that they could be checking on us while took our time “chatting” lo and behold. We have to go back inside and asked if they still serve outdoor. I went there to introduce Ramen to my friend who attended the event in Trade Centre. But that was the worse I have had.

I often the JLT branch and the staffs are very efficient.

We were planning to bring family members on weekend but I’d cancel this Gate Avenue for now. Disappointing.

Daikan is a small restaurant in DIFC (Gate Avenue) serving delicious Ramen. They have limited dishes on the menu but whatever we ordered was delicious. It's a casual place, the Ramen is tasty, the starters and bites are good as well. The servers and the staff are always ready to help.

Would recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Be patient as there may be a waiting during peak hours.

Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant (mall) first 3 hours are free and every additional hour you pay 10 Dhs.

They have 3 total outlets in Dubai.

The ambience is chilling and quite. Been there several time, at first service was good but nowdays its getting slow. Our first time order was miso and shio based ramen then we move to mix based so far the taste was good.only recently we found out that this branch will not serve you nori if you don't ask for it however in JLT they do serve it.first asking no charges as it included and second will be charge.portion are good for one persin but if u r small eater then better share it. The pricing is similar with YUI ramen too.

OMG. I had the Chef's Special Ramen. And had chicken katsu as well, very tasty.
Practically, all that i tried is so so good. MUST try!
Update: they are very fast so u don't starve waiting for your food! And the staff is very nice and welcoming!

Love the cozy atmosphere and amiable staff. The chicken katsu is super crispy and the pan fried chicken gyoza were juicy and cooked perfectly. The shoyu and miso ramen were alright, I personally got a little tired of the taste of the broth halfway through my meal because they don't really include a lot of toppings.

Very disappointing. To start with, the resturant smells foul (like rotten ingredients). Decided to ignore this and still try. Waiter took very long to come take our order and then missed our order (ordered Kimchi which was forgotten), and my ramen came without an egg. Also ramen base was luke warm (not hot) and overall very oily. The karaage was nasty, both smelling bad and tasting very oily. Overall highly suspicious of the restaurant’s cleanliness and ingredient management given the foul smell and strange taste in all our dishes. Would stay away.

Had dinner here and it was amazing, as always.

Food is consistently prepared with high-quality. Everything tasted amazing.

We had Ramen for our mains, and before that, we had Chicken Katsu and Takoyaki.

We ordered two chicken miso ramen. The ramen was terrible, it felt like some miso was just added to the water where the pasta was boiled.the noodles were overcooked and they were clearly not ramen noodles, they tasted like overcooked instant noodles. I could only eat a few spoonfuls. I told the waiter that I just can’t eat this dish, he removed it from the table, but did not remove it from the bill. I left hungry.

Their Chef’s special is a game changer (since I’m not a noodle person - before). I tried other ramen house and so far this is the best I tasted so far. Ambiance is good and staffs are friendly. ️

This is the perfect place for a ramen lover like me. I am so full but can’t stop myself on eating. I am in love with matcha creme brulee and wanted a takeaway but they can’t since it’ll be melted. So worth it and definitely will come back.

Nice ambience and service; ramen selection suits all palate. Bit of a fusion ramen than very authentic and simple ramen. Expect to find kimchi, bacon etc in the offerings. At times the ingredients can be a bit too much if you prefer something simple. The Chef's special is a loaded ramen, with multiple toppings. Service is great.

After trying far too many very average ramens in Dubai and very nearly giving up on my quest I finally found Daikan. We ordered the chefs special ramen and it was oh so rich and tasty. The flavors are spot on! The kimchi was one of the best I’ve had. The restaurant itself is small and simple with a busy bustling energy and lots of lovely smells lingering in the air.

Their service and Ramen taste were so good.
One thing, I ordered Miso Ramen, but Paitan taste was too thick, I wanted Miso taste more. Overall it was nice memory.

The information is wrong, in the schedule it says that they open from 12 to 23, I was there last night at 22: 27 and they denied my entry because the restaurant was already closed. The food is very nice, been there once before, but unfortunately I had this problem yesterday with the service.

Great that there's a branch apart from the JLT one. This is more accessible and the location has more parking. Great service and serving portions as always.

Cozy Ramen Bar in the Gate Avenue Mall!

Well priced menu with a Ramen and extra broth good for two people. The starters are great as well - decent quantity.

The Ramen is one of the better one's I've had - try the Chef's Special - great flavors and elements that come together splendidly.

Taste really good. Definitely one of the best if not THE Best Ramen in dubai.

Will definitely come back to this simply amazing store.

The ramen was ok but couldn't call it authentic. The broth didn't have that rich flavour which I was expecting. The appetizers were ok. Drinks are a bit over priced. Staff was friendly; the waitress who took the order was confident and knowledgeable.

Their chef special ramen was quite nice. Not a traditional experience but hit the spot when I was craving ramen

Amazingly authentic Japanese ramen. The noodles were chewy and just right, and you can tell the flavors in the broth is perfect, the egg is cold and in actual ramen egg style.

Best ramen I have had in Dubai. Very authentic. No frills and great price!

I’ve been Daikan DIFC branch many times. I’ve tried SHIO, MISO (normal&spicy), MAZEMEN. So far Spicy MISO is my favorite. I love their Miso Aubergine as side dish. It is really taste of Japan.
Ramen soup is thick and it has rich taste but sometimes I feel it’s a bit salty for me. I would say Daikan is one of the best Ramen restaurant, hope they’ll keep good quality ️

I was here for job hunt. I was told to submit my résumé for a review. It was a nice place to relax and eat. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. Go to Daikan today and enjoy their delicacies.

المطعم بالأساس من ألمانيا صاحبه مسلم من تركيا يحمل الجنسية الألمانية لذالك اكله حلال وفتح فروعه في دبي تقريبًا من ٥ الى ٦ سنوات هذا ثاني فرع ويمتلكون ٥ فروع بالنسبه لتفاصيل المطعم بسيطة جدًا مافيه تكلف لكن يمتلك طابعه الخاص وتقدر تلاحظ هذا في فروعه.

It’s been 3 years for me looking for savory, tasty and Real Japanese Ramen in Dubai, Finally Daikan came in town… No regrets! You paid what you expected for… Great that you guys expanding with Different places here in UAE because you’re ramen is only satisfied my Taste buds most specially the Chef special Ramen Highly Recommend guys, Convenient location nearby Financial Mentro Station

Absolutely delicious for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend and congrats to the chef and the very nice waiters/resses!

Went on a weekday evening and the place was still full and buzzing.

Small menu (love that), quick and efficient service!

Came in at lunch during a weekend. Ordered a takoyaki, gyoza, and chef special vegetarian variant ramen. Ramen is good but the gyoza and takoyaki werent worth the price theyre at. The ramen is a bit on the pricey side compared to other places but its worth the hype. Dont bother with drinks though.

I had initially tried their ramen during their first months they opened in the JLT branch and wasn’t impressed but a friend had insisted I had to go back and try it and I was amazed by how much I enjoyed the ramen!

You should deff go for the chef special if your craving a good and hearty ramen, for the non ramen fans there are lots of great selections from their menu that you can enjoy as well.

Additionally their service was great and being in the financial district mall means ample of space (unlike the JLT branch)

Now I would deff head back to daikan if I was craving ramen:)

Best Ramen in town. Parking is ample and accessible, and service is quick. The place is tiny, so it fills up fast, but the quick turnarounds keep waiting times short.

My first time having ramen, so i’ve nothing to compare with. Tried the chefs special ramen and spicy miso ramen. Personally I liked both the ramens though i’ve been told the broth could have been better. Also tried the gyoza and sichuan bao. The gyoza was rather bland but the bao is something i would recommend. You might have to wait a little to be seated during peak hours.

The space is clean and calm, I tasted their misu noodles and the last one in the menu with no broth and it tastes really good!

-1 for the quantity and the prices

The deep fried chicken is juicy and crispy … one of the best I ever had. But the portion of ramen is bit less and feeling costly

A nice place to chill and slurp on authentic ramen. Came back twice this week with friends. Must try are the takoyaki balls, chicken kaarage, chef's special (ramen). Shoyu ramen is yummy as well.

The ramen could be a little more spicy with a lesser creamier base in my opinion. The portion sizes are great although and the ambience is lovely.
