Nice restaurant with cozy home like ambience felt like being in Darjeeling or Nepal, their food was authentic and full of flavor, their staff are very friendly and helpful.

Must visit for the yummy food they serve. I have tried many dishes & all were just awesome. All starr are very friendly & polite. I can say excellent service. Good job guyz

Food’s okay, but the vibe really makes the place. Last time I went, there was a group of musicians jamming so we got some awesome surprise live music. Order the Darjeeling Iced Tea, it’s delicious!

I went with my husband for evening tea. It’s quite a nice place and the food was so nice and fresh. Staffs were friendly and they were very polite and gave a generous welcome. The restaurant is beautifully designed with Nepal traditions and it is very colourful.
We ordered momos, maggi, and tea with butter. Tea with butter is little salty taste but it was different and good. Everything was traditional and so good place to sit and relax and a romantic place. I think its also a colorful place with good background to take photos.

Fried schezwan chicken momos at the restaurant were the best I’ve ever had. Anwesh suggested tai chi chicken and chili garlic noodles which were delicious. I will be a regular.

I want to tell them firstly improve your mens staff tell your staff how to talk to someone they don't know anything and the food was not that good but went with friends

Their momos are the best and just can't have only one. The staff are very kind and humble. Sandwiches are tasty and we always order their darjeeling tea. Best wishes to the team.

One of the best momos we had. We ordered chicken tandoori momos and schezwan momos. It was very delicious. The chicken filling was juicy and fresh.

We ordered fried momoz.and we got it with full of oil.at the time of eating, oil came out from it.when we tried to contact with manager.he denied to replace it and Zomato also asked him for refund but they didn't cooperate with them.his behaviour is very rude.so many times we ordered but first time disappointed.

We were soaking in sweat. It just ruined the whole experience. Kitchen smoke comes in which made kids cough. We insisted on meeting the management but there was no one to attend to us except the servicing staff. Quite disappointed. Food is good but what's the point if it feels like I am eating outside in 40 degrees!

Its a different ambience and food pricing is a bit high and Bhutanese Tea is Salty so if you are trying bhutanese tea know its salty.

I felt like I was taken back in time the moment I entered the cafe. Inside is where you’ll find some cool old stuff being displayed. The lighting also adds to the retro feel. Nice.

I only ordered their Veggie Momos and Special Darjeeling Milk Tea. I was alone and I wasn’t really starving. I wanted something light.

Veggie Momos - so-so. Not a fan. You need sauce to enjoy it. Without the sauce, it’s pretty bland. Unlike the other veggie momos that I have tried from other restos, you don’t need any sauce to enhance the taste of the momos.

Special Darjeeling Milk Tea - very good! I love it. Now this is something that I will keep ordering from now on. The taste is perfect - right sweetness and creaminess.

I’ll go back and bring my friends next time. I want to try their other dishes.

We ordered a Veg Sizzler momos platter. To my surprise, momos were not well cooked at all! I mean this place is popular for Momos and that very dish we get uncooked, non spicy and bland. To top it all, the noodles served on the Sizzler plate were plain without any sauces. When we complained to the supervisor in charge he just refused to admit the mistake and did not do anything about it. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

Food was very delicious, very friendly environment, especially Shishir was always there to meet our expectations. Cool environment and must visit one time.

Was really bad experience having momos and noodles. Taste was not good and momos were too hard to cut or eat. When we were complaining to Supervisior - he was like we serve like this only if you wana have it then have or leave.

A colleague suggested this place. I have to say that they have the best momos. Absolutely great. SHISHIR who served us was very polite.
Their ramen is also great.

This place is a total hit or miss. I went there several times and had a different experience every single time. The only constant experience was the taste of their tea/chai which is good. I went there especially for momos but sadly more often than not, it tasted stale, dry, and just nothing like how momo tastes. Wish they would get a Nepali chef who knows how to make proper momos and live up to its name.
Update:
Total upgrade. They have relocated to a new bigger space in Karama. They have a new branch in DSO as well. Wide range of food and Momo quality has definitely improved. The staff are welcoming.

Evening hangout place. If you love touch of Darjeeling, I’d suggest this place - love the Bhutan Tulsi tea from here. I have tried Honey chicken. It’s decent food. Great ambience. Love the interiors.

Good authentic north eastern food. We are vegetarians and we enjoy the momos and the Wai Wai there

I would not recommend this place … Quite pricey menu and the quantity doesn’t justify it at all. Adding to that, very bad service.

Just to give an idea about quantity vs price, a plate of Maggie noodles, not even one full packet of Maggie, is priced at 21 dhms and nothing special about that in terms of taste. However, the quality of momos was not bad, but ridiculously over-priced.

I ordered chicken thukpa, steam chicken momo with schezwan rice. Their food tasted extremely bad. Once you had food it should make you happy instead of making happy I literally had stomach pain it is very sad! The chef absolutely has no idea what is he making…. Absolutely pathetic food without a doubt! Would never recommend it to anyone even by mistake.

Tie-po not good at all, chicken items are tasty, but buff not so good but location and the overall look is very good waiters are very friendly and deserves a tip.

Wow! What a meal! I enjoyed every single dish and will come back for more! The service was excellent. We asked for food recommendations and were not disappointed!

The place also has a lovely industrial style with plenty of tables. There is paid parking directly in front of the cafe.

Extremely below average food taste n quality.what's the use of keeping the interiors good n instagramable but food is utter rubbish? Darjeeling cafe pls hire a well trained & experienced chef for Ur kitchen.

The food is unbelievably good. We drove all the way from Abu dhabi and we were not disappointed. Totally worth the visit. Also lots of parking out front and easy to get to.

After it moved to New location the restaurant is more spacious than earlier. Taste remain same always good momos, Chinese combos are good. Darling tea is so tasty.

It's really a cool place for relaxed sitting and chit chatting. No much crowd during normal hours.

Large spacious place… super chic instagrammable interiors… plenty of parking and spot on momos. This is a place where you can spend time with friends and family with some delish momos and sipping warm fuzzy tea! I so wish Dubai had some serious rains.this place would have been heavenly with some hot chai and a long lost friend talking about old stories:).
Anyways place serves nepali indo Chinese. Maggis, pasta and sandwiches. They have wide selection of teas too.a super awesome place for lunch or dinner! I love this place and you should definitely try once too.we ordered manchow soup (best one I had in dubai so far), chinese combos (decent), cheese maggi (okayish, I’ve had better), pasta (nice), schezwan fried rice (nice.could be better), ginger ice tea (good), Darjeeling tea and lemon grass tea (very nice) and plenty of momos (bang on). On the downside AC could have been better! Anyway a place worth a visit though!

Nice vibe, the ambiance does remind one of Nepal or the himalayan hills. I had thier momos which was good (not the very best in town to be honest). The only downside was the value for money, it is on the pricier side (I personally view momos as a budget, feel good snack).

Food served is based on Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. Must try momo - steamed, pan fried, tandoori, etc, they are absolutely delicious. They also serve Darjeeling tea.

Good cafe with peaceful ambience. Food and service is good. Staff is friendly but forgot ful. One of them gave soup but forgot to bring the fries to it. Served garlic burnt rice and said crispy rice. But otherwise it is a nice place to have to good food. All the items were meticulously prepared and was delicious in taste.

They shifted to a new place and is now bit more spacious. But the design and looks they had before was better. Very nicely designed interiors with the theme of darjeeling. For the first time ever in ny life i felt annoyed for food being served too early coz i was not satisfied taking enough pics, and the food came, their speed of service quickest than even a cafeteria in uae, it was not a cooked and kept food, it was damn hot. And the taste was the most authentic. The way food is served, the way each ingredients in it are been cut finely, uniquely and precisely and the way each dish displayed separate from each others style, it shows that they have done a huge attention to detail and only a perfectionist head chef can acheive such a thing. The perfectionist mentality was seen maintained in its each and every aspects from placing each probs to until the way each pieces in the dish are served with such a polite staff, its a place to eat an indian and some one who like to experience indianism shud visit. But this is Darjeeling theme and nicely did the job. Very tasty food but the quantity is very less in all and is a bit expensive than normal restaurants but compared to all in all thats the right price.

When seen from outside everyone will surely think how are we all going to fit in, we went as a group of 10 people, but we still managed due to the wonderful service provided. The cafe is small and cozy- and do bring the feel of a cafe place in Darjeeling, the decorations, waitings, the waiters, everything will remind of the same. And the place is nicely lit too.

Inspite of the rush the day we went in, the waiters were still patiently taking down our orders, and any suggestions or any change of the ingredients can be asked and it will.be done. The service was good and quick.

Darjeeling cafe- that means momos! We ordered momos, tapas- both vegetarian and non-vegtarian, rice bowls- munchurian and beef- and it was really good! Loved the taste and the momos were fresh.
The milkshakes, cold coffee is a must try here!
What was disappointing was the tea- being a Darjeeling cafe we tried the tea, they have varieties of tea, and we had 4 kinds- and it was not up to the mark, so wouldn't recommend that. And also the hot chocolate was too sweet.
The masala chai on the other hand turned out to be good.

Went to this cafe late night and wanted something refreshing! Their spring rolls were crisp and delicious. Vanilla shake was a perfect blend of sweet and milk! Cold coffee too was absolutely refreshing and light. Their whipped cream had a smooth texture and the sweetness was just right! Lastly the masala Maggie. It just blew my mind. Tangy and tasty is what I would say. The ambience is cozy and gives you a very welcoming vibe! Highly recommend this place.

The best ambience, Entering the cafe made me really surprised. It is not as it is when looking from outside. The interior and the arrangements are awesome and feel good. I love the budhas kept and drawn around each and every corner. The food was also good. Especially the fried momos

Finally found a place for good momo’s here in Dubai. I had veg momos here and packed two more for home. Veg momo was really good+masala free, just like how it is! They even give soups with the momos. If you like tea, they have a good amount of teas that you can try and other great food items on their menu, which I’ll be definitely trying soon. You can also order their momos online. 5?

Came across this place while taking a walk in the evening. Since I am from Darjeeling, I had to give it a try. Went there and found the place quite interesting. The decor is lovely. Reminded me of my hometown. Ordered my fav aloo bhujia. Its nepali style aloo dum and bhujia. The taste was same as my hometown. Ordered a veg momo then. Loved the momo and the soup. Reminded me of the momos of back home. Will visit this place every weekend so that I dont miss home.

Finally found a place that serves decent momos in Dubai. Darjeeling café does not disappoint you when it comes to food! We ordered momos, ginger fried rice and dried chilli chicken. They were all very good.

With regard to ambiance, it isn't a very big place but quite cute and fairly clean.

The servers are friendly, but the place is definitely understaffed. Too many customers and only two servers running around. They tend to forget orders sometimes and you've to remind them so that can become frustrating. This is the only reason my rating is missing one star.

I havnt tired much dished but the chicken and veg momos are really good as its served with vegetable clear soup.
Which makes it a Perfect combination and keep your mouth moist.

Also tired egg fried rice. Which was good. Onl it was a fat rice instead of basmati. Maybe that's what the use traditionally.

Born and bred in Darjeeling, this place with its decor transported me back to my hometown. The momos and shaphaley were excellent.very yummy and juicy.cooked to perfection, though the piro aludum was just about average.can be given a miss. The thupka was also good. The sticky toffee pudding was very good too. A very cosy and warm ambience

Good small, but cozy place to have lunch, Momos with clear soup is their specialty and don’t forget to try their specialty tea at the end although visiting this place found that their tea is not consistent. Good for family or small groups. Outside seating is also an option, depending on the temperature

I got recommendation of this place from a friend and it turned out to be awesome. We tried momos and Darjeeling special tea. Everything tasted fresh n yumm. They serve tea in a kullhar (earthenware) which i am not a fan of. Parking is bit of a challenge in the area so one should be prepared for it. Overall, a good experience.

Great place with an amazing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the menu is very well planned. They had one of the best momos i tried in dubai.
We ordered a brownie milkshake and an oreo milkshake. Surprisingly both of them tasted exactly the same. The only difference was the topping change which was funny.

Very bad experience with this cafe. I ordered for the first time considering my friend suggested it’s a good place and their food is good, however they took a lot of time to accept the order. Infact when I called they said the order is not showing in the system and will have to wait which would take 15 mins to just place the order. After taking my order over the phone, I see that they have stopped accepting orders online n get a msg sayin my order was not placed in time and would refund the amount that has been debited. Have been ordering food from Zomato a lot n this experience is not at all good for me. For someone who would want to place an order based on frnds word I say this place is not at all worth it. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this place to anyone. Not satisfied at all.

Best Momo I have ever eaten in town! Authentic Darjeeling Momo with chatney one can find in Darjeeling Cafe, 15DHS for 8pc worth paying. But the size is bit small. Advice, do not bring down the quality of Momo, it is running well coz of the quality and taste.cozy & nice ambience.love the interior! Credit card payment available.

As soon as I stepped into this shop I felt like I was teleported to Darjeeling or northeast India. I should give 100 on 100 for the ambience. Food is also very delicious. I don't know if it's because of the cafe or because of the people whom I spend my time with there. I really loved it. Moreover, it is economical too

Worth to make a visit to this Cafe! They've got a great menu for Momo lovers and have a range of Darjeeling tea options to try for.

They served us the milk tea which was made at the time of gandhi and served it to us just by reheating the age old milk tea. Utterly disappointed with tea.
Secondly, We requested for a table inside as it was very hot outdoor. We could see an empty table inside but waiter made us sit out telling us that in 5 mins he will arrange us the table hence We decided to wait out meanwhile during our wait "vintage" tea was served. We could still see empty unreserved table inside but we were kept waiting outside to get old like his tea nd boil in the hot temperature.
Later we called the waiter and complained, but he didn't give a damn about anything, just took the tea back into his tea 'cellar' to preserve it further for expo 2020.
Preserve the honour of great darjeeling tea. Dubai has global residents Do not ruin the legacy of darjeeling tea by giving such bad stale tea and disappointing service.

This is the most kid unfriendly place to visit. Of course, they also serve diet cola in a dented can expiring in 24 hours. Detailed review below:

Food was Ok ish (mutton momos were the worst) and quantity is definitely insufficient. The worst part - they have hundreds of collectibles cramped up on tiny shelves right next to the corner table. My young one accidentally broke a couple and we had to pay for them (it's an accident waiting to happen). Though 20aed doesn't burn a hole in your pocket, but I totally feel that they were wrong to charge for it at first place. Final word - it's a passable place at best
P. S.diet Pepsi served was living its last day (I.e. Expiry was 9Jun and we visited on 08Jun and the dented can was the last one they had, as exclaimed)
