A Indian restaurant in Dubai with good indian spices taste in food. If you are here in dubai and missing Indian food, so you can choose a meal from Delhi darbar. We ordered our dinner from delhi darbar and it was delicious, full of flavours. And packing was clean and well.order was on time and no hustle in it. The chapati were soft and veggies were hot.
Food is average but prices very high got what you get.an order of chana with two paratha and karak tea for 46 dirhams. Everywhere else it's 9.50 dirhams.
Had been to Naif for shopping before leaving for vacation to India. Was famished when we entered Delhi Darbar, have great memories of eating in the restaurant of the same name when I was a kid and Dad used to take us there whenever we went to Bombay or Panaji. (not sure if the same group) Had the Chicken Chilli, Mutton Rogan Josh, Mutton Biryani, Mutton Khichda. All the dishes were amazingly consistent in taste. Both the quality and quantity were good as well. Biryani and Mutton Khichda is a must try. Been in the business since 1946.
Delhi Darbar serves traditional Indian cuisine with options for “Chinese” food which has an Indian twist so it doesn’t really count but if you are wanting Indian dishes with a semi Chinese option, then Delhi Darbar is a good bet.
The service was fast, prices were good, food and drinks came relatively quick. There wasn’t one point where I had to ask the servers where something was, they were always around to make sure I was taken care of and the items that ordered came quickly.
The menu is somewhat extensive and have most of the dishes that you probably know about if you are not Indian, so you are not left to guess what is what. If you are unsure of a particular dish, the servers are more than ready to share their knowledge and passion for Indian cuisine with you.
Overall, great experience, I thought the Lassis and Lemon Coriander soup were particularly nice.
