Desi Dhaba

Gautam was extremely sweet. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the night. The band played music that we requested and kept us entertained during our short interval at the restaurant. All in all the food was great with a lovely atmosphere , was a wonderful evening .Would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai - hoping for a lively Indian night filled with fun and music. Do ask for Gautam cause he is the best. Thanks.

Food, ambiance, aroma, value for money. Everything was great. Really loved the time we spent here.
Most importantly they provided live singing and punjabi bhangra. Really loved it.

Live music & dance is awesome & makes you jump from your seat to dance. Vegetarian food is very tasty. Grill items are mouth watering & must have.

Overpriced and bad.

The lamb was dry and tasteless, we also had a drink that tasted like pickle water mixed with sugar and cardamom (not in a good way).

For 1/3 the price you can get something way better in one of Dubai’s many indian hits…

Excellent food.the ambience and staff is great. The only thing i felt where they can improve is by toning down the live music. Sometimes its too loud that it hurts the ear.

Waiter didn't wait for us to apply Zomato Gold discount and rushed to charge the bill in cash without discount. Upon asking for a refund he refused it. Horrible service and experience!

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Live orchestra is very attractive! We were a group and enjoyed the time there!

Taste is just ok! Very expensive as compare to quantity of food. Even the simple roti is very expensive. Better to go on Thursdays or Fridays to enjoy live bhangra otherwise it's just ok nt so good.

Food is nice but with food as they give Achhar, chataney as complement, I would like they should give carrot, Onion, cucumber, green chilli.
Over all it was nice but not Wow. Rates of Vegitarian food including Roti is too high.

Booked for my group of friends thinking that there was punjabi dance and live songs as usual as I was a regular customer. But to my surprise there was no live programs and they hadn't mentioned me same when booking. I just go there for the ambience that the program creates. Food there is secondary. Was disappointed in total this time. The fact that they were not transparent in conveying details was more disappointing. Will not be visiting them anytime soon.

Ambience is good. It does get crowded during weekends so book table in advance. Food is good especially the tikka and black daal. Be careful when ordering bread basket as one itself is quite sufficient for a family of 8-9. Music is a bit loud to everybody's liking.

Reasonable price for all different food items. Falooda, payesham are special attraction for this restaurant. Well mannered staff are taking extra care for the visitors.

I had great time here. The music band is so good. You must watch for punjabi dance by group. It is so energetic.

You will get bored with evergreen hindi songs and punjabi dance. When i was there, that moments was splendid

Desi Dhabi is one of my favorite one because as punjabi I love the atmosphere of desi dhaba and I feel that I m at my hometown and staff is very gud

A place to get good food and variety of drinks under same roof. Food is authentic and rich in flavours. Plus some live music and dance to get entertained. Can get lot at times but you can ask the people to lower the volume and they are courteous to assist you. Great service and courteous staff. Food sometimes takes time but it depends on what you are ordering. More often than not it's worth waiting

Overall, a value for money family Restaurant.

It's a very good place to have food and they have live entertainment like dance and singing. Dance is done by professional Punjabi dancers (2 male and 2 female) and the singers will sing songs if you have your choice. The ambiance is excellent and relaxing. You need to keep in mind the cost, this place is pretty expensive inclusive of drinks. For once you can visit and experience the Punjabi food and dance for which the cost is some what justified. We had nice time during our dinner there and will recommend all to visit once.
