I had food in the evening. Fish pollichathu was not good. Fish is not fresh. Prepared well

Breakfast buffet offered good value for the price paid. The food tasted decent, neither exceptional nor disappointing

Went to Dheputtu on Fri (21stJul). Terribly disappointed.
Service was not upto the mark. We ordered two special fish meals. Were left wondering what was special about it. The banana leaf on which food was served looked old. The food itself was sub par in taste. Ordered prawns fry which again lacked taste. Staff were inattentive. The restaurant was not clean and the restrooms were filthy and had cockroaches. Crossed out from the list for good.

The best kerala beef dishes in Dubai. Crowded during weekends. There will be waiting time.less crowded around 4-6 in the evening.

Awesome food and an amazing place within the restaurant. A great ambiance and it has a really wide menu consisting of many varieties of the puttu dish and biriyani. The staffs are really nice and professional. Thank you so much the whole team.

I went there today.the ambiance was nice.staffs are very friendly and active. I ordered a chicken bhiriyani it was not tasty.if they use small rice instead of ordinary rice it will be more better.also there so many flies on my table it was so annoying.coast of the food was affordable not I expected, rest everything fine

I went there for a lunch with colleagues.the restaurant was full.i ordered for a veg thali but it was the complimentary fish curry and my side order of fried Sardines that was the real gem.service was good.overall a positive experience.i will visit again.worth a try (sorry I forgot to take all pics of the experience?

We had been to Dhe Puttu Karama branch today and the service was amazing. The restaurant manager Saifudheen and the team had been running around and serving each and every guests as per their needs and had been frequently checking if we need something else in addition. I really liked their service and would definitely recommend it to others. The prices are reasonable as well.
Note: the brown color payasam they provide after the meals was so delicious. Also the Milk Sarbath is a must try.

Do you love Puttu? Did you know it’s one of the most common food available in Dubai in any Malayali restaurant but this place which I visited in Karama @dheputtudubai has catered well to different varieties of Puttu. To name a few - Biryani Puttu (Veg, Nonveg & Seafood), Chocolate Puttu, Spanish Puttu, Mix fruit Puttu and so on. Do visit & Try

Omar is with me so I can’t manage to make him eat Puttu at a restaurant it’s super difficult to feed toddlers outside. We always go with easy food options for him and my first preference is French fries, here we ordered Chicken Fingers served with Mayo & - Super yummy do try when you visit.

Another highlight is the Clove infused black tea amazing to start the meal.

The variety in their puttu menu is amazing.the special treat at this place is the humble glass of sulaimani, service is polite and fast even though the place is always busy and we often have to wait our turn.

Personal favourite and the best restaurant to try kerala cusine. Staff are very welcoming and has the best hospitality. Proper social distancing is taken care off.

This is my first time in DHE PUTTU and I enjoyed the food.and the service here is awesome. I 100% recommend to come here and dine.soo many varieties of puttu.so delicious

The curries & fried food was really delicious, however, didn't feel that there was anything special about the puttu which is their trademark product.

Food we had yesterday at De puttu was mind blowing, we orderd mixed grains puttu, fish curry, chatti roast beef and porotta. Each flavour did take us to a heavenly world, they also gave us a welcome drink which was a black tea, me and my husband have never had such an amazing tea ever. Staffs at De Puttu were so welcoming and loving, specially Sooraj, he did treat us so well and added a very beautiful experience. I would very much reccomend De puttu for a lovely food.

We had Achayans sadhya on Easter Day and it was pathetic.just name sake they made something and charging us huge amount.really sad.

Tried puttu biriyani.you won't be able to have puttu biriyani alone.was very dry.have to order a curry so that it goes down your throat.kizhi beef was amazing.overpriced.

This place is good for Puttu lovers, for two people diner approx 60 Aed. Not a great place for north Indians. But they have 12 aed lunch unlimited thali which is economic. Taste is average like any 3 star restaurant.

The best place if you want to have Puttu, a kerala breakfast, which is deemed very healthy, along with plenty of tasty curries. Their black tea is the best!

One of the best places in Dubai serving up south Indian food. This was the first time I tried puttu and though I may not be the biggest fan of it never the less I rate this place highly for the curries I tried out. Beyond doubt yum. Next visit I will surely combine them with rice

Today we went to dhe puttu for lunch for the first time with family with lots of expectations but unfortunately didn't met our expectations.service was very poor and also the biriyani was not up to the standard was tasting sweet.

Restaurant owned by Cine actor Dileep from Kerala, India. They serve wide variety of puttu (steam cake), desi food of Keralites. You see a lot of fusion in their menu. Themed ambience and good for family and gatherings. They have only paid parking. Try puttu thali! Good luck!

One of d worst and non fresh food for a much higher price. Spend 80 Aed for 2 persons and had two different dishes and came to knw tat both d dishes were not freshly made. Atleast they don't reheat d food for d sake of getting a repeated customer. Then I inquired them about tis and they also admitted tat it is pre cooked and can b reheated if needed. The tea, hot water nd Puttu was fresh nd good. And d funniest thing s tat d salad they serve for an 80 Aed food was pathetic than a 8 Aed spend combo of a small Malabari cafeteria. Tis kind of pre cooked nd non fresh food can b availed for a one third cost frm d nearby normal restaurants. It should be a fresh nd hot food if i spend above 40 Aed for a meal and i dont mind to pay between 15 or 20 Aed if it is not fresh nd hot. Over all.a one time try destination

We went today for Onam sadhya. We had to wait nearly two hours due to poor organization and due to skipping the que system and given preference to VIP persons and known persons
Apart from this being a keralite Restaurant, food was of poor quality and not worth even 10 AED,
Sambar and dal was of poor taste
Why I am writing this, I had food in some of the Kerala restaurant in Kerala and in Dubai and also Indian association in Abu Dhabi where we can feel the real taste of Kerala food and was excellent

I went there with family 16/8/19, the service was too poor from the person who took order from us, he was not responding well to our request.
I made a complaint against him to the assistant manager on the same day.
This kind of behavior will spoil the reputation and goodwill of Dhe puttu.

Dhe puttu is a normal restaurant which brings different varieties of putt in different styles. But the name of the putt has no relation with the real recipe as they chose the names of the movies that I felt bad as the customer will never get an idea about what to order. The services are good as they are co-operative. And if you are ordering anything other than puttu, the thing I noticed that if you are two, one curry is more than enough and no need to buy 2 bowl (it happened with me).

For puttu, I will give a 4 star rating and normal dishes 3 star will be enough.

Lunch was very good (meals). But service standard level need to improve specially attitude of staffs.

Dhe puttu karama with their latest concept of Chayakada is awesome. Good evening snacks at reasonable price

Very nice food and nice place even though the rates are high but not good for family’s if we know the names of staff it’s fine otherwise they will insist us to call their names even though the names are not placed on their temple so Humble request to the management team to display the name and photo of the staff in the menu so that the customers will never fave any humiliation from staff

The restaurant can get very crowded so better to visit during non- peak times. The restaurant can feel hot if there are a good amount of people. Place has decent seating space. Food items on the menu have good variety. The complimentary add-ons are nice like butter milk / hot water and pappad. Reasonably priced dishes. Parking can be difficult to find. Overall good place to visit for Keralite food.

Verity of Puttu, a Kerala dish. People who really want to try Kerala traditional food, Puttu can try this restaurant.

Had prawns puttu biriyani from Karama dhe puttu Restaurant with family, It was totally opposite of fresh food, felt like rubber while eating Prawns. Frozen prawns, not authentic. Very bad but eranakulam dhe puttu food was very good

Not a good experience. Ordered puttu and chicken curry and puttu and beef fry which was only average. Service really bad. Waiters are in their own world two people focusing on one table not even bothered to look if anything needed on other tables. Ordered tea and waited 20 Mt's and another waiter came and asked if have ordered tea. Then we wait again and later had to ask again to get the tea served. Finally the bill comes with only the tea charged in it. Then had to go to the counter inform the cashier and pay for the full bill. The tea was really good but the waiting spoiled the mood to enjoy it.

I am sure the food is very authentic and upto taste but it wasn't something that my taste buds relished.
We found the concept of eating on banana leaf awesome and the cinnamon tea was very nice.
We found the air conditioning in restaurant poor and spicy food in hot environment was a bit of struggle.
Our server was very accommodating and helpful to explain us each dish. Serving is nice, music inside was nice too.

Mainly focusing on Kerala dish "puttu" as Thier name means. Good place for good puttu. They have many varieties on different name and taste. You will find dishes name as popular movie title of famous Kerala film actor Dileep. Nice decor and highly convenient for family customers. Very economical compared to other Kerala restaurants in Dubai.

Food was tasty and the staff was welcoming. The only con i felt was regarding the pricing of the dishes. The prices were high compared to the quantity we received.

Has lost it original charm and grandeur. Things are disorganised especially over the weekends. Though the food taste is mediocre, service has become absolutely worrying. Waiters seemed to be clueless as to whom to serve and who ordered what.

Worst service, highly expensive, long waiting, waiters not attentive and never mind attitude, tasteless food comparing to nearby restaurants. Totally disappointed. Never ever go again and Not at all recommended

Nice and clean area. Quality of food is good. I believe the Rate is higher than normal. Taste of food can be improved. Parking area nearby, so no tension to park vehicles on normal days, but traffic and parking can be an issue on special days.

The ambience and the staff service is good. The welcome drink is so tasty and I guess it's their trade secret. Even the food also it is delicious but one thing I want to focus is that i guess if they add any type of baking soda or something like that it feels your stomach full with a small quantity of food.we will feel stomach fullness while we eat. It is unhealthy practice.

If you like kerala food especially puttu this is an awesome place. The place can get very busy so sometimes you may need to wait. The only improvement needed is please open your shop at 8am and not 12 noon as puttu can also be eaten for breakfast!?
