Dr Ashish literally came to our rescue. Our 20 year old daughter who lives in London, fell and broke her collarbone - snapped in two. The medical system in the UK was unable to perform the much needed surgery due to a terrible backlog and unfortunately per her on an infeasible waitlist for surgery. This was unacceptable to us as parents as she needed surgery quickly to align the bones . We knew we had no choice but to fly her here to Dubai for the surgery she so badly needed and were recommended to call Dr Ashish. He was our knight in shining armour. I spoke to him on a Friday evening and he reassured me (I was rather frantic) and confirmed he could perform the surgery on Sunday morning. Our daughter flew in and went straight to hospital where Dr Ashish and his team were waiting. The surgery was a success and a metal plate with 8 screws was fitted alongside her collarbone. She has full use of her arm and shoulder with physio set up, the scar is minimal and after care was excellent. I cannot recommend his services and his company enough. My daughter is due to return in April to have the metal removed and I have complete faith in his ability to reopen the scar and once again ensure it will heal with minimal scarring. Doctor Ashish did a full knee replacement for my mom early December. My mom doesn’t speak English, she was just visiting and had knee problems for 4 years. She was terrified of the surgery. Doctor Ash was so upbeat, positive and caring and at the same time explained all the details of the procedure and what will happen after without sugar coating. Everything was organized quickly with all required checks including cardiologist. The surgery went very well and mom dropped crutches after a week. The post care and physio were very high quality and today mom took a flight home. She dropped heavy pain killers she was on for years and her blood pressure has been normal for the last 3 weeks! Exactly a year ago I found a doctor on the Internet and made an appointment with him, without any expectations. I visited many doctors, but never decided to have surgery. Therefore, I had no special expectations about the meeting with the doctor.
I had a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus.

Dr. Ashish made a diagnosis and prescribed surgery.
The operation was performed under general anesthesia (it was my decision). The doctor did everything very well, the stitch on the leg was as neat as possible, this is important for a girl.

After the operation, I was on crutches for about 1 month, after which I walked for another 2 months with an orthosis.

I went to physical therapy for half a year, and experienced physical therapists helped me recover. Probably, without this process, my recovery would not have been as smooth and fast.

Now I can say that it was one of the best decisions to undergo surgery with Dr. Ashish. He is a true professional, positive and very nice person.

Now my leg is stable, I can play sports and live a full life.

Dr Soni performed Achilles tendon surgery on myself. He was very professional and clear in his advice. The surgery was very successful and I experienced a speedy recovery. Dr Ashish also gave me the personal approach and visited me in hospital the day after surgery, even though it was his day off!

I injured my knee whilst playing sports. I had visited various doctors and medical professionals over the course of the year, who had not managed to accurately diagnose my issue. During recovery, Dr. Ashish made sure regularly schedule post-operative follow ups with me to track the progress of my recovery.

I went to Ashish for acute wrist pain; just by visual examination he directly advised MRI and concluded it’s a hairline fracture and put a hard plaster. Unfortunately the diagnosis was utterly wrong and pain did not subside after heavy pain killers as well. I suffered tremendous pain and mental trauma for nearly 3weeks. Went to him twice but still wrong conclusion.
Luckily, Consulted other capable doctor and he advised there was no fracture at all and it is because of Nerve related complications which was cured with nerve medicines and physiotherapy.
I nearly lost hope with proper functioning of my arm and suffered due to wrong diagnosis.

I am very with my knee surgery with Dr. Ashish Soni. I had a complication with my knee before the surgery. But, at the moment I am not feeling any more difficulties. So I want to say thank you so much for all.

At the time of writing this I am 3 months post ACL reconstruction surgery.

I think it‘s important to begin by saying that when I first met Dr. Ashish I was really pleasantly welcomed by a fist bump and a happy face. This told me in an instant that Dr. Ashish can read the person in front of him and welcome them in a way that would make them feel comfortable.

In regard to the pre-op consultation, Dr. Ashish further made me feel at ease by answering any and all of the questions I presented him. He explained the coming process clearly to me and this helped tremendously with the nerves that were building at the prospect of having to undergo surgery.

The surgery itself must have been an excellent job by Dr. Ashish because after having read other people’s’ experiences online (generally) about ACL reconstruction, many patients were reporting discomfort for a long time after the surgery. I feel great! My knee feels ‘right’. It doesn’t feel unstable and not quite ‘right’, like it did before the surgery. My leg in general feels strong and I’m really happy with the complete lack of scarring.

Dr. Ashish Soni (Ash) performed a total left knee replacement for me in December 2020. Six years before, I had my right knee replaced in Australia so I felt I knew what to expect. Ash exceeded all my expectations. He is such a personable guy that takes time to listen and build rapport with his patients. I did a lot of research when I was considering surgery for my torn meniscus, I came across a lot of different doctors whom I visited before finalizing Dr. Ashish as my doctor.

There are a number of reasons for my decision and I hope if you have the same questions or concerns, this will help.

1. I was not sure about surgery, unlike other doctors I visited, Dr. Ashish read my report and was able to tell me that surgery was not needed as long as I'm not active but was necessary for me to get back into sports and living healthy

2. He ran a full assessment and didn't show any signs of just forcing me into surgery but rather sat with me and explained everything to me. His analysis were new, no other doctor examined my knee the same way and this built confidence instantly.

3. He is super friendly and was very professional with the way he answers question. I HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS. Other doctors told me that they know what they are saying and I need to do surgery without really answering my concerns (they were always in a hurry)

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he is a meniscus expert, meaning unlike others he will actually try his best to save your meniscus rather than cut it out like other have suggested. This is really important to consider as you don't want to have other issues as you get older.

A great doctor overall, I just hope that the hospital had a better process of outpatients as they were no follow up appointments or instructions given either on call or by email.

I met Dr. Ashish Soni at Mediclinic City Hospital for a second opinion after being recommended an ACL surgery + meniscus repair by the first Orthopedic I'd seen. I am so glad that I met Dr. Soni before plunging into a decision. He performed a thorough check-up and advised that I just have a minor degeneration of meniscus; no damage to ACL, there is no surgery is required! Can you imagine? 18-months ago i was diagnosed with severed osteoarthritis in both my knees. From the first consultation he was professional, patient & understanding. After 4 x HYALURONIC ACID (HYALGAN) treatments, physio etc. Dr Soni performed a complete knee replacement. I was walking 3 hours after my surgery (spinal) - 4 weeks later back at gym and now 3 months after the surgery I am cycling 18 km daily. Dr. Soni is a brilliant Orthopedic Surgeon! I visited to Dr Ashish Soni due to a shoulder injury after a cycling accident. I decided to move my treatment from another hospital after doing some research and once I met Dr Soni I was convinced he was the best person to fix my shoulder. I am so glad I made that decision. He spent time explaining the procedure and the protocol on recovery before and after surgery. I'd never had surgery before so really appreciated this. Overall Dr Soni did an absolutely stellar job and everything went according to plan. I'm back in the gym and active again 5 months after surgery and recovery is going well.
