I have been facing hyperpigmentation problems for the last four years and literally consulted doctors worldwide. Actually, I underwent several treatments in Dubai and in the US early this year.

I first visited Dr. Mahaveer Mehta’s clinic in 2003 at the recommendation of an office colleague. Her niece was was one of his patients and was completely cured of the exact same infliction as I. I was very hopeful.

Have my on going treatment with Dra. Mehta and I can see as early as 1 week the results of it. Visited numerous dermatologists in UAE and got to know this clinic and took my chance. I have a skin condition called Vitiligo since 2007. I did consult many doctors along with parents back in India and have tried different kinds of solutions & medicines over the years. By the end of every year, it is just the sheer disappointment and a couple of new spots which demoralizes your confidence within yourself. It started with 3 white spots on right index finger and currently, have white spots on the hands, feet, elbows, knees and face including lips, eyes, ears and nose.

I have been visiting Dubai since 4 years and have been a resident since 2020 for work. I was referred to Dr. Mehta by one of the known friends who did visit the clinic in the year 2019 for consultation. Dr. Mehta did offer the best solution to her. My initial appointment with Dr. Mehta was on Dec 2021. He suggested to proceed with Excimer laser treatment that has shown promising results in patients with Vitiligo. For my condition, that was the best available treatment.

As an individual, we either just ignore the skin condition or perform some home remedies and applying unnecessary skin creams which will eventually have a hit mentally. I had severe skin allergies and searched for the best skin doctors in Dubai and found Dr. Mehta the easiest to visit as it’s 10 mins.away from our home. My 1st check-up was on 24th March, I came 5 mins.earlier than my appointment and was examined by Dr. Mehta on time. He asked a few questions and prescribed an antihistamine pill for 15 days and my skin situation improved but not fully recovered. The cause couldn’t be known at that time hence Dr. Mehta asked me to also take the immunoglobulin test.

Today was my follow-up visit. My appointment is scheduled at 10: 30AM. My baby, 5-year old daughter and husband were with me - we arrived 10: 35AM. We waited patiently and I was the only patient waiting until 10: 45AM, another patient arrived and informed the nurse that his appointment is at 10: 45 and couldn’t wait longer due to his next appointment with a different doctor but he had to wait as a patient is still in the doctor’s room. Another patient came in around 11: 00 am and was also informing the nurse that his appointment is at 11: 00 but he has to wait for 2 more patients before him - he had no option but to wait as well.

Dr. Mehta finally stepped out at 11: 05AM and was happily assisting his current patient. I was then expecting to be next and Dr. Mehta asked me if he could have the patient next to me come in first. I got shocked with his ask and answered with a strong “No, of course I wouldn’t wait and if he chooses to have him first then I’ll have to leave”. He then told the other patient to wait a bit longer and asked me to come in his office. He told me to please understand and not to get mad because some patients are “VIP” hence he had to ask them to come in. VIP? I never heard of such thing as VIP in a derma clinic? This is not an emergency situation where a patient is in dire need of help. I answered back telling him that he’s not supposed to treat his patient’s this way because I came on time for my appointment, waited patiently with my restless baby without a single question. He then started pointing at his staff - saying that I should forgive and understand his staff. I honestly felt like laughing at this time and again responded back stating that his staff were so kind and I had no issues with them. I then asked him to please let me know what’s wrong with me and write the prescription if any medication is needed. He told me nothing is wrong with you, your lab result is good which means you don’t have to take the food allergy test because it will turn out negative. When I asked him what is the main cause of my skin allergy, Dr. Mehta told me to just stop thinking of negative thoughts and always smile. I have never experienced such treatment in Dubai, I have visited most of the renowned clinics and hospitals and was never treated differently from other patients.

If you’re reading this, please do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and energy in visiting this clinic.

From September of 2019, my previously mild acne became very severe. Every single blemish would leave a mark and pretty soon my face was covered in deep red marks. Living in the US, I met with the doctors here hoping to find a cure. Topical retinoids, oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics.you name it I have tried it. While visiting family in Dubai, on a whim I made an appointment with Dr. Mehta. Dr. Mehta took one look and outlined a medication plan that is very easy for me to follow. He answered all of my questions very patiently. He is the kind of doctor who genuinely cares about the patient and wants the patient to be cured. I did two laser sessions with him with no downtime - RF microneedling and pico. Two sessions alone have helped improve the appearance of my scars significantly. I went to this clinic last month for my pigmentation issues. (around My neck and face)

I visited alot of doctors before, some of them are confirmed that i am affected with "Acanthosis Nigricans", I did so much treatments. But No result at all.

Then I visited Dr.mehta's Clinic.he is a very nice person, he treated & guided me very well, and he did Picolaser treatment to me.
Even after the 1st treatment, i saw very good result, and now i did the 3rd treatment today.
After the 2nd treatment i got very good result.
No i feel very better. And No Side effect & there is no downtime at all.
