It might be amazing doctor and amazing team, but after 45 minutes waiting I've been told to wait 10 minutes more to see the doctor. I was expecting more respect to the time of your patients. I decided to leave and do not proceed with my appointment as I find it impossible to face such situations every time I come. After all, my insurance was still charged for the appointment which I find outrageous.

It’s a really awesome experience…. My 9th month pregnancy journey was so beautiful and the Dr samina Dornan, Dr Hari and there whole team supported me and our family so well! After the delivery also there care was really appreciated…Thanks to the entire team for a happy and safe delivery. I would recommend Al zahara and the especially the Dr samina dornan.

Dr Dornan, Dr Hari and the entire team are amazing!

We came under their care quite late on in pregnancy (34 weeks) and the time, care and attention they showed us makes me wish we had only found them sooner! They all made two very anxious parents to be feel at ease!

Our delivery experience was super positive and again this is all down to Dr Dornan and the genuine love and attention she provided us with on the day and during our stay!

We will never be able to thank her enough for safely bringing our daughter into the world and will be eternally grateful!

From beginning to end I clicked with Samina.she is knowledgable and also realistic with what should be and can be done. She encoraged me to have a normal life during pregnancy without thinkinv too much in what should and what shouldn’t do, eat, etc… I would totally recommend her and her team to anyone during pregnancy.

I couldn’t ask for a better team to help me through my pregnancy. Professor Dornan is the best in the region, her experience competence and confidence are present step of the way. I cannot recommend Dr Samina enough. This was my second pregnancy and I had practiced hypnobirthing during the first in the UK, so I had wanted to have the same experience this time around. Dr Samina listened to all my wishes thoroughly and I really felt understood by her. She was always a ray of sunshine at every appointment and I enjoyed her company a lot -she is amazing. Her staff and midwives are also amazing. Nothing is ever too much for any of them!

I would go as far as to say she is the best of the best in her field. And if you are lucky enough to go with her, you’ve hit the jackpot!

We are thankful to Dr Dornan and her team for taking care of our complicated pregnancy and for the emotional support extended during the period. We were pregnant with Twins and after 28 weeks were diagnosed with TTTS. We were closely overlooked by Dr Dornan and her team regularly with frequent visits and keeping us informed on every stage and also encouraging and helping us to push on further each day and we managed to make it to 32 weeks. The babies were premature but were delivered healthy. We owe our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Dornan and her team for helping us through the difficult journey.

I transferred to Dr. Samina in my 32nd week after a very bad experience at another hospital with a wrong diagnosis. Dr. Samina and her team were fabulous from the very first meeting and very thorough in their examination and evaluation. She put me and my husband at ease and we knew we were in excellent hands. From there the last leg of our pregnancy was very good right to delivery. Dr. Samina has a wonderful way of putting her patients at ease. Her team is very knowledgeable and ensure their patients have the right information to make an informed decision. 2 days before my expected due date on my last prenatal visit, I was already 3 cm dilated and we went ahead with an induction later that night. The team of mid wives during labor were fabulous and coached me through the entire time to ensure my baby and I were safe and taken care of. We are glad to have picked Kings College London as our hospital to deliver our baby and most importantly that we had Dr. Samina and her team by our side

Sindhya was suffering from 3rd degree placenta previa, She had several episodes of bleeding from week 10 onwards until week 27.we had to rush to Kings several times, (our worst day was friday and late nights). But the emergency on the 2nd floor was always available unlike other hospitals where there are less professional experienced doctors n nurses at night shifts and fridays. Dr. Anjali especially was very very helpful. When I got pregnant I went to Dr Dornan based on my friends recommendations. I was extremely sick and the way she explained how I felt to my husband was incredible. She included my husband in every detail of the appointments leading to the eventual birth.
Dr Dornan always gave me a choice on what I would like to do but would advise me on what would be best for me. I was induced due to GD and I didn’t want to take epidural. She didn’t force me and had it on hand in case I changed my mind.
My labour was managed so well by the team and when I came to delivery Dr Dornans experience really shined through as based on her guidance my delivery was only 10 minutes and as I was terrified of tearing, she ensured there would be minimal tearing. At the end I didn’t tear and my labour&delivery experience was the best and easiest part of having a baby.

Amazing doctor and amazing team! Dr Dornan is extremely attentive and made us feel well taken care of all throughout. Her team are just as amazing and I would recommend Dr Dornan without a doubt to anyone on this beautiful journey.

Our little baby girl Sloane Athena was born on 11 August at 6.12pm weighing 3.56kg & measuring 50cm I could not have done it without the support of the Famous Team at Kings - I was petrified of having the c-sec! My nurse Kathleen who held my hand during my spinal anesthetic, midwife Stephanie who held my other hand & the amazing anesthetist Dr Shanawaz who I didn’t stop speaking to & continued to reassure me throughout the surgery! The beautiful and incredible Dr Samina Dornan - what can I say - the minute My husband and I met her we knew we were going to have the best care and journey and we weren’t wrong! Her warmth, her knowledge and her care has been nothing but incredible. Not only did she make me feel at ease at every step, she truly understands what it means to be a women and what we need - something so very rare! Being an older first time mom - never once did she bring up my age and make me feel that I was old (this was unlike my original doctor which was very upsetting) I honestly cannot thank and recommend her enough! The amazing team that work by her side - especially Dr Olga, Nurse Edna, Farhat and the phenomenal Chay who kept in touch with me throughout, always sent me my scans and kept my pregnancy brain in check! Another HUGE thank you to Julie, midwife extraordinaire- who took my WhatsApp’s at all hours and always made me feel at ease, and now the beautiful Hannah who is visiting me after the birth of our baby joy and who makes me feel confident and just reassured us every step - her help and support is incredible! I cannot go without mentioning all the nurses that looked after me and our baby while in hospital- every single one!
I cannot recommend the team as well as the hospital enough - you feel part of a family- so important when often you go through this without your actual family from home! Thank you Dr Samina and Team!

I moved to Dr Dornan at 34 weeks pregnant upon the recommendation of a friend who also delivered with her. I had been with another obstetrician at a major hospital but as my pregnancy progressed I felt my birth plan was not being respected nor was a pregnancy related medical condition being appropriately monitored. Moving to Dr Dornan and Kings turned out to be the best decision for me and my baby.

From the moment I met Dr Dornan she took my concerns seriously, was interested in the type of birth I wanted and cared about my health and that of my baby. After my first consultation, I left her office with a plan as to how my high risk pregnancy would be monitored to best ensure the safe arrival of my baby.

Prior to delivery, Dr Dornan's team regularly monitored my condition with scans and blood tests to ensure the health of my baby. I found her team to be responsive, caring and consummate professionals which obviously reflects the standard of care Dr Dornan has set as head of the Fetal Medicine Unit.

Obviously Dr Dornan is incredibly capable clinically but what surprised me most was her compassionate approach to her patients and how she empowers women to make the right choices for them when it comes to their pregnancy and birth preferences.

Dr Dornan is a great ally and advocate for women, I felt informed throughout my time with Dr Dornan and my choices surrounding delivery were unequivocally respected. I only wish I had found Dr Dornan and her team earlier in my pregnancy - it would have saved me a lot of worry.

We had a fantastic experience under the care of Dr. Dornan and her team at Kings College. I was a FTM, and had a c-section due to breech presentation. All options for delivery were given to us, and the pros and cons of each explained fully. Dr Dornan’s depth of expertise and her professionalism made us feel so well looked after. She is an extremely thorough physician, and ensures that all aspects of the baby and mother’s health are well covered. The team of nurses (Edna) and PA (Chai) are fantastic, and communication between them all is excellent. We felt entirely confident to put our full trust in the team, and are extremely grateful to them all for a healthy and safe delivery of our baby.

The BEST MFM a First Time mother can ask for. Truly, hands down a loving and caring doctor. Dr. Samina helped me through my high risk pregnancy, her team are impeccable even with an insane amount of patients. She is an extremely capable surgeon as I ended up needing a C-section and just 2 weeks later, I'm very much healed! A great department which gave medical students an opportunity to learn from their professional team of doctors.

I saw Dr Dornan from the beginning of my pregnancy. From the first appointment, she always made me feel at ease, took the time to get to know me and my husband and answered every question we had in depth and detail.

Over the course of my pregnancy Dr Dornan and her team, Nurse Edna and Chai felt like family and were very personable. The process to book appointments with Chai was straightforward and easy. Anytime I needed documents, it was very simple to raise a request through Edna.

This being my second delivery in Dubai, the genuine warmth was much appreciated and it made it easier to ask questions than with my previous Doctor.

Dr Dornan was very informative during my labour. My plan for delivery was VBAC and ended up having an emergency cesarean. My wishes were respected, different options talked through and was fully informed about every decision and why.

All the talking, discussing and answering questions is one thing but when it mattered, during labour and the c-section, Dr Dornan was right there besides us, easing any worries and uncertainties and even in the operating room, she was bang on with everything, right level of sternness, right level of ease and warmth and the right level of humour thrown in for good measure. Genuinely couldn’t fault her.

For any future pregnancies, without fail, I would choose Dr Dornan.

Dr Dornan was amazing, especially when it came to the labour and birth. On the day of delivery, she was very hands on, regularly checking in, working closely with the midwifery team and ensuring I had everything needed to remain comfortable.

She followed my birth plan until it was necessary to change course in the best interest of my baby and I. She informed me of my options throughout, reassured me and delivered my baby safely.

She was welcoming and good humoured at every appointment throughout the pregnancy and we knew we were in good hands given her excellent reputation and experience.
