I purchased and moved into a new house in January. I submitted a move-to request to transfer my account from my previous home to the new one. Dewa was unable to complete the transfer even though the connection was active and today they’ve simply decided to interrupt it without prior notice. I always pay my bills on time and I’m disappointed for what we’ve gone through today. No one in customer service seems to care. A previous notice would’ve suffice, or completing the transfer as requested.

If I could put Zero star I would! My Husband is at home with my 18 month year old sitting in the Dark with no power and a very upset screaming child. We can’t feed our baby or shower him. This is so disgusting that the power has been turned off for no reason! We have called 8 times today, calling every hour, constantly being told the power will be put back on and it’s now been 8 hours since the 1st time they said it will be turned back on!

For a government service you are letting the people down it’s so messed up that this is even happening!

I really appreciate the service of Mr Khalid Omari, I had called the DEWA customer care to ask for nearest DEWA office to go and get a new connection, but he suggested I do it online and he guided me with patience step by step and the same was done successfully.
It was such a blessing to finish the same without stepping out. Truly Appreciate the guidance and the easy to use DEWA app.

I appreciate the efforts of Dubai Government to facilitate the residents with highly valued services. Thanks DEWA for lighting Dubai.
