This is no longer a good place to go. Only several pavilions are working, and only 2 big ones: terra and mobility. The others are women pavilion and 3 historical small ones. If You decide to buy tickets to pavilions separately please make sure you check your tickets! We asked for 2 tickets to terra and mobility pavilions and the guy sold us only to 1 pavilion. Last pavilion entry is 17: 15. We were at that time at terra pavilion to figure out we don’t have a ticket and we also don’t have enough time to get one. So we missed that pavilion. Also, keep in mind all vehicles are run down. We changed 2 bicycles to find the one that has no broken seating and wheels. Overall the system is completely user unfriendly. You get tickets to your email. To view them you have to get an app just to download a pdf ticket. If you download one you can’t go back in the app to view the other one. You have to go back to your email and click to open an app again. It takes time to download. Access to WiFi is also not straightforward, you have to create an account for some reason. Log in and then you are connected to the network. There are a few restaurants with good food but the price is ridiculously high. Also there is construction going on everywhere on the expo territory. It makes it hard to find a path and an entrance to attractions
I had visited the total of 13 pavilions during Expo events in the years 2021 and 2022. I had a great time exploring few countries, including the three main pavilions (Opportunities, Sustainability, and Mobility). What’s interesting about Expo is the fact that it keeps going on for even more exciting events after the main Expo2020 had ended.
(Photos were taken during Ramadan this year as well)
Perfetc place. Wonderful experience l. We were here for audition. And they team performed outclass. The management was very cooperative and helpful. I believe once the expo will open the world will be amazed and astonished. The uae put all efforts in becoming this dream in to reality
This is an awesome place with a lot of interesting features and a lot of digital displays. Firstly, the way they incorporated the Expo 2020 Metro station at the center of the Dubai Exhibition Center is quite unique. When you get down the train, of course after seeing the inside of this incredible train station, the first thing you will see out of the train station are the big digital screens on both sides of the halls of the DEC. Inside you will see a lot of digital displays also some of them for advertising and some of them for passing of information I presume. The other unique feature, is the way they landscaped this massive building such that when you're in front, you're on the ground, but when you go backsides, the Expo village side, you will be on top of a platform. Not forgetting the partitions of these halls labeled A, B, C, D and so forth. This massive structure is a marvel and perhaps one of the great features at Expo 2020. I could give it a six star if it was possible.
