Dubai Offshore Sailing Club

Great place to stay and relax. Had great dinner with friends here. Food and service were excellent.

The sailing club itself is nice, but it is very cliquey. Personally I sail quite alot and am very avid as a sailor but here it was quite interesting as everyone was trying to prove they were of a higher pedigree or something, for example I had a lovely conversation about not being a real sailor because none of my parents were sailors and I in turn had no real history of sailing due to that, I dont know but it just seemed very competitive, more so than any other club I have been to. Atleast they have beer and the food is decent I suppose, and also the experience of sailing itself is great here, lots of open water and brilliant views of the city itself from the water.

Great location in the heart of Jumeirah. Weekdays guest entry aed25 & parking available. Weekends guest entry aed45 & no parking. Weekdays - 1900h to 2000h happy hour at 50%. Wednesday - Pursuit races 1730h to 1900h.

This is the recreation area to honest please everyone has to visit this place where you can feel fresh air on boat

Fantastic family friendly private club for sailing lovers in Dubai. Membership is necessary. Highly recommend if you love sailing. It is one of the oldest private clubs in Dubai. A great community feel.

If it wasn't for some of the members who think they live in Montecarlo, it'd be a very pleasant place. Good think some of the old unbearable staff left. For the rest, staff is very good, food is good, great location. Love the place

An old place visited after many years, some changes but it still has that old ethnic looks and experince. Good Place to enjoy for the weekends.

Terrible service, the elderly philipino lady flung the menu on the table, mummbled something and was about to walk away before my friend called her back and asked who will take the order then she requested for credit card deposit before taking the order but while i was about to ordee for a drink during lunch credit card deposit was not requested and we paid on our way out.bottom line this location does not welcome people of colour.

Avoid this place by all means and all costs! Had an emergency with my paddle board and the offshore sailing club was the only place I could reach through the beach. Had no phone with me no flip flops and outside was 50 degrees. My feet was burning so I entered the restaurant and asked for help if someone can call taxi for me so i can and get my stuff which were far away. Instead the security guy Martin from Kenia started shouting at me that im trespassing and he will call police and he kicked me out. I was in shock, my feet were burning outside and all I asked was to stay on the shade while I manage to get taxi. He said that’s not his problem and he doesn’t care if my feet are burning, he stated that im an adult and I should know how to take care of myself! I still cannot believe that somebody said this to me like a human to human. After I sorted my stuff and my friends came to pick me up while i was waiting barefoot on 50 degrees at midday and no shade around, i went back to the club to speak with the manager. The guy who introduced himself as a one in charge (british i think, unfortunately didn’t get his name because he never introduced himself) was not supportive at all, he didn’t even told that Martin did something wrong and he was all the time on his side and he said that i trespassed and didn’t wear a mask (he wasn’t wearing a mask while we were talking btw). I don’t get it where is the humanity? After 4 years living in Dubai I never expected something like this and was never expecting that something like this will ever happen! So avoid at all means please! If something happens to you on their “private property “ nobody will help you, they’ll say they don’t care and you’re an adult so you should fix it by yourself ‍️‍️‍️
