Really liked taking a boat. It just costs 1 or dirhams per person and takes you to the other side. There are another stops in the creek if you want to go a bit further.

Highly recommended, we paid for a 30-minute tour of the creek seeing old Dubai up close during the sunset

Book in advance and experience it in the evening. I can highly recommend it, best with dinner.
