Very disappointing experience. It was merely a normal mall game that can be played with a joystick and few switches to be turned off and on. No real feel of an airplane. A flight simulator in real sense resembles an aircraft's cockpit, with computer-generated images that mimic the pilot's view and the aircraft's motion, used for training pilots. At Dubai mall it did resemble a cockpit with computer-generated (low quality) images but there was no motion.
Great experience with Emirates A380! At first I thought it must be something just for kids, but visited recently for the first time to surprise my husband for his birthday, and would definitely say it’s a lot of fun for any age group! We visited on Sunday, but we booked in advance through the website. Booking system is very smooth and straight forward. We came 10 minutes earlier than our booking time and we waited maximum of 10 minutes, and we used that time to shop their promo material. We booked for 30 minutes, which I would say is perfect and more than enough! In total for that time we did 3 take-off’s and 4 landings, with different airports and weather conditions, which you can choose on the spot. The staff member from Philippines was very lovely and helpful - explaining controls and everything in advance and guiding throughout, was cheering constantly and had great attitude and mood! The simulator itself is unfortunately static, however it is still great fun, with real-life sounds! Will definitely recommend and come back again!
Just had my first experience here at the Emirates A380. It’s amazing, but more amazing are the trainers! Unfortunately I didn’t ask for his name, but the guy in the black/blue shirt was amazing! Thanks mate and hope to see you soon again!
As an aviation enthusiast…I would highly recommend this simulator for those that cannot get to a real simulator…this is the next best thing…as my wife bought this experience for ME it was one of the best gifts ever one can receive. A big shout out to Gabriel (staff) who we really enjoyed the experience and talked to us and made the experience so so so memorable. Thank you again!
As an avid aviation fan, it was definitely worth it, the staff were really friendly and allowed me an extra 15 mins for free (probably because there was no one after me). The controls are laid out exactly how they are in the A380 deck. You only have control to the rudders, yoke, thrust levers, flaps and landing gear. It was great fun.
I drew a group of people while i was flying the simulator. Purchased official merchandise from them too such as a Boeing Hoodie.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Emirates Flight simulator. My instructor Gabriel was very knowledgeable and skillful, giving excellent instructions and tips on how to take off, land and fly the plane. Highly recommend a 30 minute session to anyone who flies in an aeroplane. It will really make you appreciate the wonders of these machines and the skills of the pilots.
Rude and unhelpful people! I went there and they closed in 45 minutes so they had a session of 30 mins. I would pay for 15 mins because of that they rejected and said they would close. Do not recommend at allll! Don't waste your money in those things that is not worth.
I had an absolutely amazing experience there. The instructor was very kind and the simulator was pretty realistic. But if you don’t know much about the cockpit, I would recommend the 30 minute session as in the 15 minute one the explanations are really brief. Very fun experience, but if you are very serious about aviation, the characteristics of this simulator are not similar to the real aircraft. But definitely I can recommend it to anyone!
