Emirates Post - Jumeirah Post Office

Today I visited the Jumeirah Post Office after a long gap. I had last been there when the renovation was being done. The main services hall looked open, friendly and welcoming. The display boards and seating were smart and slick. The Customer Happiness Staff serving me was very courteous, apologized for the small delay in locating my registered post and then delivered it with a smile. All in all, a very pleasant experience and visit.

The best post office experience ever. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The service is super fast and efficient.

Location and facilities are good.however had surprisingly bad experience over there.sent a local delivery via this post office with full address. However few days later found out that it wont be delivered to the door of the receiver and they have to pick it up from another emirates post location.i was not told about this at the time of sending the delivery.thats really strange service, whats the point of providing the address if the receiver has to pick it up themselves.

Worst customer service, the staff are brain dead machines with an automated response.

I have bee trying to urgently have my parcel delivered that has arrived to dubai since last week, and the customer service just throws you from operator to operator then promise you tomorrow for days on end. I have a business flight to attend and I need the contents of my package for this trip.they are holding it without letting me even pick it up. SHAME!

The staff stayed overtime to help me because I'm flying tomorrow, they worked with care and took me as an indivudual into consideration. God bless them

I really had a horrible experience. For 3 days, I had to wait the whole day for the courier person to come, but no one showed up. I called the customer service many times. And every time, they tell me that your shipment is out for delivery and we will call you. No one calls me. At the end of the day, the system says the customer not available when I try to track the shipment. To be honest the service doesn't deserve even one star, but it is the least. I hope my shipment reach soon without any further inconvenience!

Just don't use them. The Emirates Post is awful. Had a very bad experience. Lost my money with Emirates Post. It is impossible to find who is responsible for their mistake. Just awful services.

Visited this post office a number of time the staff always greats you with a smile and I have also noticed the department manager talking to customers and trying to help speed up the process and reduce the wait period for customers really appreciate the effort they are doing especially in customer service

This is really DISAPPOINTING that the reason why we are not receiving important mails and packages from our post box was due to negligence.

We had paid the post box renewal on time, and was deducted from our bank account and yet the payment was NOT applied, and our post box was blocked.

I sent several emails to Eshaar and Reham but no response.

There are handicapped patking space and entrance.

Worst service ever. Nobody bothers answering the call. The responses to the email are late by over 10 days. They hand over the packages to wrong people and do not provide details to whom they have delivered.

They gave you tickets on the service time to report waiting times less and try to add new charges on the last minute

It’s wasn’t the best service I got,
and they said something, but they deliver something else. They do t have clear word plus they Daley my order 6 days

- now they allow only like 4-5 customers inside, the rest are in line outside, waiting time could be an hour
- gloves are the must, and nearest place to get some gloves is carrefour in about 7min walk

Today 20.05.2020 went to collect parcel from the Jumeirah branch post office of Emirates Post. Due to pandemic and UAE government rules for the 30% occupancy all customers were standing outside on the pure sun in a huge que line. After 40 minutes of waiting I came to entrance and security told me not allowed to enter without gloves, while DHA and government put a note that gloves are an options. I was running whole way to find a gloves to enter, no information only small print A3 paper in front of enterance. When I entered. It took me another 30 minutes to wait till they will serve me. All staff are nervous and high after long search of my parcel they told me that I applied for the delivery and my parcel in a huge mix of other parcels for the delivery and I need to wait delivery so 1 hour plus to recieve this information. Meanwhile one local guy as an employee ask security to go out and inform the qué that without gloves enter will not be provided but security replied that his manager not allowing him to do so. Very bad experience and hours of waiting.

The manager is so rude and unhelpful we seem to be the wrong nationality. Changed rules after 10+ years without any notification.

I had a good experience here because my ID was not with me but they accept my passport.but very confused about the vat or custom fee my 5 very small small pkgs total price all of them was just 250 to 300 AED only but they take 130 AED for all of them. For what i don't know.one pkg was only 10 dollars (around 37AED) and custom was 25AED

The only country in the world that force u to pay tax when you buy from outside.never seen somthing humiliating like that.despite they have very expensive stuff in their country and when u buy same but cheaper from out side they push u to pay and pay. و عمار يا دبي

Very long wait in queue, not enough employees to serve the customers, even not enough chairs to sit and wait your turn.

First time in my life a post office cannot deliver my shipment because (dixit the Manager) "the address is too long". And of course nobody cared and I was asked to leave. Customer service ZERO! Far far away from Smart Dubai experience.

Conversed via e mail, timely response. Collected parcels, no wait time on Tuesday evening. Polite staff. Plenty of parking. Easy to find, via car.

Very long waiting time on Saturdays. Not enough staff and excruciatingly long process to serve each customer.

Professional personnel in handling and delivering local and international parcels.
Never go wrong for the costs and results.
Openning hours as labelled, just be careful of peak traffic times on Al Wasl street.

Emirates Post is the worst post office in UAE you'll wait for long time to do tiny service they are not organized

Every shipment I receive I pay 27 AED they told me why you don't have PO Box it would cost you 1 or 2 AED
Emirates Post excuse me you don't market yourself enough to know this info I don't see your Ads
Plus you don't do extra effort to charge me that much for 2 or 3 $ costing items

Excellent service. Went in to open individual PO Box. Including wait time I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The customer service was excellent and very respectful, even with my many questions. I am happy that I chose this branch.

I paid for express post service and the shipment didn’t arrive yet, the tracking systems shows it is still in UAE than be in the destination. I tried to call their number but no call center, it’s automatic machine and no one receive your call to check because not all the options are related to your request.

Like a post office system in a third world country.bring a picnic basket while you wait. May get your item after you have completely consume your food and drinks.

Terrible experience today. Most staff are great there however the one I had today added on extra charges that I never wanted such as express shipping and then claimed I agreed to the charge when I didn't. When I asked to cancel the order as I didn't want to pay for express shipping he said he couldn't do it, proceeded to call me a child and had a big temper tantrum in front of everyone. Really unimpressed and very unprofessional.

The best branch in Dubai. Very welcoming, friendly and fast service. Special thanks to all staff in this branch.

5 Stars for the gentleman named Sanjeet who assisted me with my parcel. Friendly and helpful. Thier call center staff is also helpful but sometimes will give contradictory information. But overall they are good.

Please revise the location as most people are coming in the hospital and its not the correct location. Please fix the map location ASAP

Slow and inefficient. Don’t understand why the postal service is so backwards here when they try to be ahead of the world. Just post packages through post boxes? !
