Manager center Mr. Naser is a wonderful manager who cares about the customers needs and keen to help them. All staff are kind and friendly and reception staff needs to be more flexible and friendly with customers
The name stand itself ‘Customer happiness center’. Well organized and systematic. Very easily we can finish all the procedures. The staffs also very polite and welcoming.

It was so fast, and the lady who look my fingerprints was so nice. I have been in many governmental offices in different countries, and UAE governmental organizations have the best customer service.
I recently visited the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP - Al Barsha Center) in Dubai and was quite disappointed with my experience. The service was extremely slow and the staff did not seem well organized. There was a female employee from Asia who was giving priority to her own citizens, making them cut in front of the queue. When I finally reached the person who was supposed to help me, he barely gave me any attention and provided poor service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Good I visited Al Barsha center today (After going back & forth for the ID renewal issue for last few days). The staff were supportive who directed me to Manager for my ID renewal issue. My ID application was returned for modification due to long name. The manager was very helpful in fixing the issue by directing what to be done further to resolve. My ID got renewed by end of day. A big thanks to Al Barsha Staff and Manager once again. Yes with Green Pass -its for our safety too.
Went there for my biometrics (EID application) and was greeted by an extremely helpful guy working in the "welcome area" before reception! My typing center had made a bogus entry regarding my passport number which was still registered in the system, but with some tweaking we managed to get it through. Furthermore, I'd like to say that all of the people working there that I met, welcomed me in a respectful manner - yes, some "friendlier" than other but that's my experience in life in general:)
Now, the guy actually performing the biometrics was extremely efficient and friendly. Two minutes tops - finished!
After having to take the 1h drive to AlYalayis several days in a row in hopes of getting a new appointment i finally managed to get an appointment here at Al Barsha. The guard outside asked for all my documents, then i was in and out within 10minutes! Super happy.
Staffs here understood my visa problem and guided me what to do next. It went according to their plan. It was solved with in a week. This Centre is much better than other centres. Only problem is that they allow you to enter only if your PCR validity is less than 48hrs.
Today I must revise my review from yesterday, the only problem seems to be one of the receptionists from yesterday, see previous review below. Today very positive experience, my son, with PCR test and long trousers was allowed to go inside and the concerned person really spent a lot of time helping my son, he even was able to correct my sons birthday on the ID card application form. All done today, Thank you! Please replace this unacceptable rude receptionist and you deserve the 5 stars! Previous review: Worst experience in the usually very welcoming and friendly UAE. The star is for the friendly security. At the reception my wife and my son were treated unbelievably unfriendly, disrespectful and arrogant. My son, 15 years old, just needs the finger print to be taken for ID renewal, first the receptionist barks at them to show the PCR test, then he insisted that my son (in his PE uniform after school) can only enter with long trousers, and finally he insists in the original passport (which is with the authorities for visa and ID renewal). We never in all those years experienced such a humiliating treatment, definitely not the right job for this person. And no way to call the center as the number is busy for hours.
Eid Authority Al Barsha is the worst authority center I have visited. I had an issue with the occupation mentioned in the new version of Eid. I called the Eid customer service first regarding this they informed me to bring the emirates id original along with Passport and Visa Copy page. I confirmed with customer service rep whether to bring a copy of passport and visa is enough or original passport is required. The customer service rep replied that passport and visa copy is fine along with original emirates id and pcr report. I visit the Barsha Eid authority branch on 13 Jan 2022 along with pcr report. The staff asked me for original passport and I informed the staff that I was told by your customer service staff that passport and visa copy is enough along with pcr. The staff apologised to me and told me that the customer service staff gave wrong information. I told the staff that to get passport it will take few days and now I have to take pcr test once more inorder to visit your office. The staff told me that the pcr report is valid for 14 days and not required to take new pcr test. Today 20/1/2022 I visit your Eid office at Barsha. I provided him the documents ie original passport, eid, pcr report and photo. Unfortunately the photo contained a picture of me wearing glasses the staff told me that a picture without glasses is required. I went back from eid office, took picture from nearby studio. I visited the eid office barsha again this time the security staff stopped me saying that my hosn app is not showing green and that I have to take pcr again. I informed the security staff that I just visited your office and showed them the token I got I told them I went to take picture from nearby studio. I also told them that I came last thursday and I was informed by your staff that I can visit the office with the old pcr report which is valid for 14 days but they did not allow me inside. I dont understand how can your staff be so different. Each staff giving different information.
Worst service ever. No help, no respect, laziness. Bank account and mobile is going to be shut because the authority is not doing their job. I wish I could give 0 stars.
My EID having biometric errors problems so I drop by this center. One of the officer Encik MOHAMMED (hope I spell his name right) at counted 5 spent time to settle my problem although my card was not issuing at this center. Lucky that everything solve within a week and got my new replacement ID. Understand that this center now requires pcr test before entering, with Alhosn app the PCR Negative will stay 14 days. Do take PCR test before dropping by. Stay safe.
Visited today morning for biometrics for the new Emirates ID for my wife. She has vaccination updated in Al Hosn already & we went directly in. The reception staff is not welcoming at all & he is there just to answer our questions for name sake without even listening to it completely.
1. The male staff at the reception is asking for a PCR test for no reason. As we already had Al Hosn app reflecting the vaccination status.
2. Wife medicals were done in Al Muhaisnah. Once again, the same male staff is directing us to go to Al Nahda which is in another corner of the city. He said this is "customer happiness center" & we cannot do anything related to Emirates ID. This was quite surprising for us & just didnt want to argue further with him. (He had no clue on what he was doing)
We went directly to Al Yalayis Center in DIP & finished the whole process WITHIN 15 MINS. They asked us to show only the Al Hosn App was vaccination status. As simple as that!
(Someone senior at this center, Please educate your reception staff on the rules & regulation before answering to questions so that people are not provided with confused replies)

يقبلون ان يبصموا لعامل لدينا، ولما سألت عن السبب قال الموظف تبصم في المكان ال عملت فيه الفحص الطبي، ومتوددا قلت له نحن ساكنين هنا ومعانا طفله، قال لا يمكن، فقلت له هل هنا مكان للفحص الطبي فقال لا، قلت له متسائلا مين ال ممكن يعمل التبصيم هنا، لاني اكثر من مرة أجي لكم هنا وترفضون التبصيم، فانتفض موظف الاستعلامات وقال كما لوكان ينهرني باسلوب سيء لم نعتاده بدبي هذا هو الاجراءات، واتفضل،، ارجوا انة يتم قبول جميع المتقدمين للمركز، لاني حتي الان بالطريق للسطوة بعمل البصمة هناك عشان رحت المكان ال عامل الفحص الطبي فيه، قالوا ان مكتب الهويه نقل من القوز مول الي السطوة، فلكم ان تقدروا كم الصعوبه للذهاب من البرشاء جنوب الي السطوة ل
This Federal authority is now a main partner with immigration department after merging the two services in one.the main work frame is to issue eid for everyone locals, or residents this was a national project almost 10 years ago " 2012" at the beginning the process was super as it started in Dubai in immigration and it was so easy and timely after few years the process became a night mare specially for the companies as the eid centres were few and the applicants were huge the lines were very long and the waiting time was so long due to the few centres and few employees who are handling the finger prints process "biometrics" recently and earlier in 2021 the authority started to open new centres like Yalayis, Satwa, and al-Nahda in Qusais so the lines nearly has been disappeared and the time of the process became shorter.the best main eid centre in Dubai is al-Barsha which has evaluation of 6 stars recently as people there are so friendly and helpful.

For finger prints/you need to show negative PCR test before allowing you to go in. Fast service only few minutes and you are done. Thanks for all staff
Very unprofessional staff. Specifically male sitting on reception. Visited for biometric for first time EID. Without asking anything he replied you are at the wrong location and you need to visit Al Quoz for this. Go to Al Quoz very first time without visiting this pathetic center your time will be saved
This is review for Al Quoz mall ICA office: Very disappointed with the experience. Ladies staff exhibit rude behaviour- disrespectful, unprofessional behaviour (yells and shouts at the customers instead of helping them out), smacks hand if you fail to position correctly on the biometric device. If you face trouble with getting form barcode detected by the scanner, they will kick you out and say it's not their problem instead of guiding the customer about how it can be rectified. They will take your photo without cue and if it comes out with closed eyes, won't entertain any request for retake. Expect lot of shouting, yelling and screaming. Disgusted!

Very good cooperative staff specially in AlBarsha, I had one issue of my new born got fine due to pandemic consulate was closed. Anyhow after many rounds to Amer centers and other EIDA centers rejection of requests, someone told me to visit Al Barsha and explain your issue. Literally they are cooperative, manager listen my issue and after verify all the documents she asked me to register again with change the EIDA center location. It is solved come on. 0 AED fine Alhamdulillah
I had such good service from this office; friendly knowledgeable and professional. The lady at counter six went out if her way to fix an error in my ID application. Other offices might not have bothered. Well done and warm thanks. Andrew Hill
I went there for my Son and wife Bio the area is very comfortable you can get dates and coffe or cappuccino free and there is also a reading area. Parking is not free and I removed a star only for this
أردت تجديد هوية ابني. عندما أردت تجديدها ، قال مركز فرع ابن بطوطة: "أنت بحاجة إلى جواز سفر صالح لمدة 6 أشهر على الأقل". أخبرتهم أن سفارتنا ستستغرق أكثر من 45 يومًا لإصدار جواز سفر جديد. قالوا "حسنا ، فقط أحضر لنا جواز سفر جديد ورسالة من السفارة توضح تاريخ طلب جواز السفر ، وتاريخ تسليم جواز السفر إليك". هذا سيساعدك على عدم دفع أي غرامات تأخير. أحضرت جواز السفر الجديد ورسالة السفارة وإيصال الدفع الذي يثبت أن طلب جواز السفر تم قبل انتهاء صلاحية بطاقة هوية ابني. فوجئت عندما قالوا (الهيئة الفيدرالية للهوية في فرع البرشاء دبي) نحن بحاجة إلى رسالة أخرى من السفارة مع تاريخين. طلبت خطابًا آخر من السفارة ، وقدمت طلبًا لإزالة الغرامات. بعد كل هذه الخطوات المتعبة المحمومة ، وكل الضغوط التي مررت بها ، تم رفض طلبي. لماذا ؟! لماذا طلبوا اتخاذ كل هذه التدابير المحمومة ، ورفضوها ببساطة في النهاية. شعرت بالحزن الشديد ، ولم أساعد ، وخيبة الأمل ، ولم يتم النظر في حالتي على الإطلاق ، رغم أن لدي جميع الأدلة. حزين جدا! I had my son’s ID to expire on Dec 19. When I wanted to renew typing it centre of Ibn Battuta branch said: “You need a passport valid for at least 6 months”. I told them that our embassy will take more than 45 days to issue a new passport. They said “it is fine, just bring to us a new passport and a letter from the embassy that shows date of passport request, and date of passport delivery to you’. This will help you not to pay any delay fines. I brought the new passport and embassy letter, and a receipt of payment which proofs that passport request was done before expiry of my son’s ID. Still they said (Federal Authority of Identity in Al Barsha branch Dubai) we need another letter from embassy with 2 dates. I requested another letter from the embassy, and submitted request to remove the fines. After all these hectic steps done, and all the stress I have been through, my request got rejected. Why? ! Why did they request for all these hectic measures to be done, and simply rejected it at the end. I felt extremely sad, not helped, disappointed, and my case was not considered at all, though I had all proofs. Very sad!
People having issues with VISA related and things related to ICA, should really use their website. The development team is awesome and they really help you. I am just not so happy because i thought the response from them will be also the same in the way i approached others (wasting my time). But i was surprised. I really have respect now for UAE government and the ways they have made to help the residents here. In simple words "Great Work"

Good place to Manage you formal ID The location of this Department is amazing, so anyone who lives in this area can go to finalize his formal documents, Jut pay attention to the working hours to be sure that you finish your documents in one place and just in one visit. This place is very good for the people living nearby. The staff are very helpful and hard-working. They are very professional and know what is needed.
The place is so big with lots of staff and seats for waiting area. You can find coffee and tea machine there.
They are very organized once you arrive there get your token and wait till it appears on the screen. This help and protect you from other people jumping the lines. So you can save your time and finish early.
They have all the machines to process your card there including the cameras to take your photos there.
Just check the documents needed for your renewal or anything else.
I came here first for my Visa and they sent me to Muhaisnah, 2nd time I came with my wife and they sent me to Karama. I believe they don't entertain new visa's or people without visa stamped on passport. If you are applying for Emirates ID before your visa is stamped on the passport Please make sure you visit either Muhaisnah or Karama to get your fingerprints scanned and photo being taken. All the branches should clearly mention who they'll entertain and provide all the services. Very disappointing.
