Feras Aldiyafa Sweets in Dubai is a must-visit! The best Kunafa in town with a secret cheese ingredient that makes it incredibly delicious. Friendly staff and a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended!
I’m surprised I never shared a review of Feras. I give it four stars because the best thing on the menu, and the reason we go back every other week, is for the kunafa. Period. The best in Dubai if not the whole emirates. Especially when it’s fresh and coming out steaming. The other good thing to try is the chicken shawarma, but try it in the restaurant, not for delivery, as it’s more fresh and less soggy when delivered. But, in the end, just go for the kunafa!
This is the second time I have come here and frankly, it will be the last. The customer service is so poor, they don’t acknowledge you nor know how to smile. This applies to Filipino staff and the man behind the baklava counter. Your baklawa may be sweet but your service certainly isn’t:)
I've been here many many times in the past. Everything is fresh and everyone is friendly. I think they deserve more attention from the public. Here's what I like: Firstly, the food has great quality and you can tell that it's been made with passion as soon as you taste it. Thumbs up for the chefs and all the members of staff. The food is consistent too.
Second up, the staff. They are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant feels like a great place to be in, no matter what mood you are in. The combination of the feeling of family and taste is one that will brighten your day no matter how bright it is.
That's about it from me. Of course, the review does not cover everything, but somethings can only be explained if we visit them. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with my eyes closed. Give them a visit. I assure you that you won't regret it.
Bad experience with there sandwiches. I tried checken sandwich, I think it was frozen and serviced warm. Managish are fine but avoid sandwiches. Very expensive
I've tried kunafa there and it's really good, I'm staying in Abu Dhabi, each time I come to Dubai I visit for his kunafa, I strongly recommend it.friendly staff, clean place and prices are somehow reasonable!
I unexpectedly encountered kunefe 20 years ago at a ramadan iftar meal in a small Turkish village. I fell in love with that homemade dessert with my first bite. I found Feras Adliyafa several years ago in Dubai. I visit it about every year. I love seeing the massive round trays of their kunefe. Their version is different from what I experience in Turkey, but it is every bit as good. It is not cheap and I always eat too much, but I still stop almost every time I walk by the shop. The kunefe chefs at Fera Aldiyafa are always kind and they often give my guests generous samples for their first tastes. Come try it!
Unfortunately not as what I was expecting.the customer service is poor seems like they are dragging them self to answer you and there are flies in the store
Excellent shop in Sheikh Zayed road for Arabic deserts including Kunafa, baklawa, maamool and more. All excellent quality, very tasty just a little expensive. They do also sell savoury options such as manakeesh, burgers, sandwiches and others. Price ms for the sweets are a little high but for the quality of their products it’s worth it. Service is absolutely fine. A lot of plastic and polystyrene and other harmful materials everywhere, which i would like to see addressed for the environment’s sake. Other than that though, very good!
A dessert shop with amazing flavors.kunefa is gorgeous. I think the most beautiful kunefa of the world is made in this dessert shop. There is parking right in front of the shop.in a central location. I definitely recommend.
Authentic Palestinian sweets outlet at its best, don't miss to try this cheesy desserts. Indoor seating available with convenient parking spaces. Excellent service.
This is good place to get authentic dubai sweets and snacks in general. Apparently the place has managed to maintain great quality and taste. It operates through many branches. The business has changed with time in terms of use of modern technology, but has managed to retain trust of its customers. The dish picture I attached is amazing and you must try when you visit Dubai. Just it's bit far from main city.
Caution: They have good Knafe, but be cautious. They do not list their prices and each time I’ve been the prices seem wildly different. Make sure you establish the price upfront with the guy serving you Knafe and don’t wait for the cashier to “invent” a price. They have tried to overcharge us quoting us 44 dirhams for 2 pieces of Knafe, and when I started speaking to them in Arabic and called them out they backed down and they only charged 20.
Nice Konafa but worst customer service! When I called them to deliver the order she told me a minimum of 100DHS AND I ordered before 50-70DHS and they delivered to me! But now she changed her mind and told me, NO AND MY Total was 60DHS I told her I will pay for the delivery she said no also! Come on what’s this? And every time I call this branch they didn’t answer the call directly
I have tried to have breakfast here and I chose one of the breakfast specials, the one with omelette, sausage, hash browns and vegetables on the side, as shown on the pictures here. The omlette were too oily and flavorless. The sausages for some reason are deep fried and full of oil as well. The hash browns were OK but I couldn't finish it because of a hair I found on the cucumbers.
I believe I will have another section in this review after I try their dessert, since it is there specialty and were the reason I found this shop in the first place.
Edit: I visited the place another day since I was staying in nearby hotel, I got the manakesh and it was good although it toon a while to prepare.
Feras is a must if like khunafa, you’ll get a proper khunafa here Probably one of the best if not the best in the UAE They sell the frozen khunafa also so you can buy to take home heat and eat style
The sweet in Feras is good as always but the person who i dealt with was terrible. I asked if they have the frozen kunafa and he said no. Once i purchased the fresh kunafa, i noticed they had plenty of frozen kunafa's. Since i was buying this to take it to my friends in Japan, i requested him to pack it well but he clearly did not put any effort into it. I later had it packed professionally in order to avoid any embarrassment.
We went here for having kunafa. It was so heavy and cheesy and difficult to finish by one person. If any one loves very cheesy stuffs, they should really try it here, and obviously who doesn't like heavy food better to avoid this place. We also tried special Omlet from breakfast menu, which was quite good. And not to forget their veg pizza was really awesome.
Very delicious traditional sweets and dessert's. We asked for a variation of everything and they created a great collection with small peaces of all the sweets.
I am reminded every Ramadan of how great the Kunafa's are of the restaurant as i love Kunafa but never tried it despite living in Dubai for more than 30 years. Decided to try them this time and yes the Kunafa's are out of this place and come across such tasty sweets anywhere in Dubai. Highly recommended for people with sweet tooth
They have their best kunafa in Dubai they also have branch in sharjah just make sure of the name as there is another one with similar name but definitely not the same taste
I didn't like their fine kunafa (na'ameh). But the kheshneh kunafa (vermicelli) was supreme! It's not easy to find a table and the service was not properly managed.
Average in all sweets but delicious in kunafa. The other sweets are not related to the real taste. The staff are not friendly. Smile is a good thing to have.
After many visits to Feras to eat the famous Kounafeh I will write some comments below based on the fact that I know the original taste of it too well, so the Pros and Cons about the place:
Pros: 1- Have a variety of sweets on the menu 2- Recently added Food to their menu
Cons: 1- The 2 sides Kounafeh must have 2 lairs of Kounafeh pastry on the the top and bottom not only top 2- The melted cheese on the Kounafeh MUST be in salted fresh cheese not sweetened salty cheese
It is recommended for the people that did not try the Kounafeh before, the will love it. It is not that recommended for the people who knows the real Kounafeh flavors as the could get disappointed.
Tastes Knafeh and enjoyable piece of the most adorable sweet. The place is good, not very good but good and despite that they are a famous sweet place, they are trying to be a Resturant too. Well, despite that I did not try but good luck I prefer to eat what I came here for.
Amazing traditional sweets and savory beads. Everything here is about 10 AED and it's a bargain. Very local and authentic. The kunafa is very mellow and the kofta mankeesh is a great way to start the day
When we read the reviews, we went here with very high expectations. The kunafe was disappointing. It lacked kunafa taste, even though it has a lot of cheese. They are using salted cheese, which changes the taste completely (in a bad way). Unfortunately, I would not recommend going to this place. We are here at night and it was very difficult to digest.
